Hi.
Does anyone know of a way to use data on a prepaid plan on the inspire 4g? Are there any hacks or ROMS that would allow this?
I hate how they give you unlimited data but you can't use it on smart phones... What the hell is the point?

Not sure what search words you used but all the searches I did on XDA did not turn up that thread. And I don't want to have to go buy another phone and use an imei that does not belong to my phone.

Hey guys just bought a used sgs4g from T-Mobile I want to unlock it for use on other GSM networks. O have been at it for two hours but I can't seem to get it.
I've been using dagentooboys tutorials and free app but neither work.
I can't find the 0x1469 address on the NV_data.bin

You can call up tmob after a while and have them unlock it for you
I think it's 90 days...or it might be 1 phone every 90 days...just call and ask.the worst that can happen is that they say no. tell them you ate going out of the country. Europe. Do it big

Haha except I don't have service with tmo. I'm just using it on wifi ...any other ideas?
Try going into a Tmobile store and asking...or 3rd party cell stores...

the guides work, but there are a lot of people that mess things up. Its easy to break and very tough to fix. I'm just trying to save you a lot of trouble. If you do follow a guide, make sure you read the entire thread. And back up your efs folder.

Hmm I guess what I mean is if they no longer work because of updates? I see the latest unlocking guide was updated in May

So I want to unlock my phone and i'm wondering the best way to do this.
I have seen those unlocking sites, and wondering if that's the way to go.

I locked mine with a code I bought from eBay. No annoying TMO reps to deal with and if you are not a TMO customer best way to go.

I have an infuse on a family plan. one of the person on my line can do upgrade right now but they have an iPhone4. i was wondering can they do their upgrade and once they get the phone can i just switch my Sim over to that phone and use it or would that be a problem?

I don't see a problem in doing so. As long as you have the correct plan to use the phone. I always switch phones all the time.

Used to be you couldn't use voice and data at the same time on VZW unless you were connected to WiFi. Someone told me that with 4G you can do both now. Fact or fiction?

Most 4g android phones if not all can. IPhone 5 cannot due to apple not taking extra effort to do the antenna right. Galaxy s3 and some HTC phones can also do simultaneous voice and data while on 3g too

the old iphone I thought used to be able to? Now they cant hahaha jokes on them. But than again with the iphone almost everyone with one has data caps so thats why you see all apple users on wifi all the time. Not meeeee unlimited 4g wooot.

I know when I go to get new phones I try to test that feature out before anything else. Feathering to my tablet so that I can stream music and being able to receive a phone call is very convenient. And a must have. Any way, to answer your question like others have. 3G and 4G. Fact.

Hi, I flashed my mom's galaxy s3 to page plus but only 1x data. I have my own galaxy s3 on contact and I was wondering can I use it as the donor and still use it as my phone. Or would it be illegal cloning. I'd like to know as fast as possible. Both phones are verizon.
