I recently installed Android 2.3.4 manually to my Nexus S (9020T). Now I can no longer get USB connection to my computer. It charges fine, just no USB. I've manually installed multiple times and this is the first time I've had a problem. I searched through the forums and no one else seems to be having this issue. Without USB connection I can't even reinstart the ROM and all my files and pics are trapped on the phone...PLEASE HELP!!!
I flashed my sgs2 to boost.. everything was working fine untill today for some reason my computer doesnt recognize the device anymore.. i tried 3 different usb cables and tried it on 4 different computers, nothing would recognize the phone.. its not a driver problem because its not even in device manager, i tried USB debugging and nothing would work.. i also rested the phone to factory settings and did the ##786# reset and pc won't see it... i tried to search for similar problem but all i found was driver issues and thats not my problem.. all it does is charge the phone. any ideas?

hi did you find out how to solve this prob, mine happened after the latest update last week, pc, mac or anything wont recognize the phone.

I just flashed RemICS ROM v1.7 in my phone. Everything is working fine but there's a one problem MY PHONE WON'T CONNECT TO MY PC

After rooting my device I had some problem with USB CONNECTION but then i just restarted my PC and it started working. But after flashing RemICS the phone won't connect to my pc. There is even no notification in my status bar like it came before. When I connect my phone to my laptop via USB cable there is no change in my phone it just starts charging.
I really love this ROM but I can't have it with this bug please help guys.
(ALSO ONE MORE THING: WHEN I FLASHED THIS ROM THERE WAS NO MUSIC PLAYER APP!! THIS IS STRANGE RIGHT? I THINK THERE MUST BE SOME WRONG WITH MY ZIP FILE. WILL RE-FLASHING WITH A NEW ZIP FILE SOLVE THIS TWO PROBLEMS?)

My friend has bought used "Xperia mini pro", it is like a charm working with Android 4 ,but the problem is when we tried to root it we connected the xperia to pc but no respond or any changes ! just like if we connected it to charger !!! Windows7 can't prompt that new device connected neither Mobile status bar shows that's connected, even I checked Debugging mode is checked but nothing at all !! no SD card to mount no Debugging mode :crying:
I tried to boot into bootloader or recovery mode but no chance :crying:
what would be the hell problem ?? can it be sovled ? is it frimware problem ?

I have a problem with my Galaxy S6.It is stuck on Samsung logo screen and won't turn on.Also,my phone isnt recognized by any computer.I tried a lot of USB cables,a lot of computers,i installed the drivers,tried with kies,kies 3(drivers included),Smart Switch with automatic driver instalation,tried everything and my S6 is still not recognized by pc.I cant turn on my phone to activate usb debugging or something and i cant install a custom rom or a official rom?What can i do to fix my phone?is it another way to fix the logo screen stuck without connecting the phone to a computer?tried installing a rom , but it says "external blablabla is deactivated" or something like this

Greetings and welcome to assist. Did you do anything to your phone before the bootloop? Also if you put your phone in download mode is it recognised in kies/smartswitch emergnecy firmware recovery ?

Tried to unroot the phone before.The USB/charging port is broken,fast charghing isnt working anymore,thats why the phone isnt recognized at all.I will change the broken piece then it should be recognized by pc and i can reinstall the android.also'the motherboard can be damaged.anyway,the phone quality is very bad,i had a lot of problems with it,ill never buy a Samsung again.
