HTC battery replacement - Desire Accessories

H guys,
I do have a real strange issue concerning my new battery.
Just for information i do have the latest Incertcoin rom on my phone.
Now i decided to replace the battery by a new one.i bought an third party battery and one orininal htc bas 410.
Now to come to my issue, it's impossible to charge both of them to 100% it always stay at 99%. Even if the phone is off ne led won't turn green. with both batterys i got the same battery voltage with (*#*#4636*#*#) 3923mV.
I hope someone has the same problem or anyone has an solution
Thank youi

DonĀ“t know about insertcoin, but on Oxygen Thalamus sometimes changed the way the battery is filled...maybe its intended by the rom?

Phones and most of our devicesalways lie a bit about the battery, have you try'd to wipe battery status?
Fully charge and wipe see if it fixes anything.

Not yet. I tried Desire GRedition and the battery was working for almost 3 Days, after that I flashed several ROMs such as AceS, PyramidMod007, PyramidMod007 3D, SuperNova Extreme and the final one was CyanogenMod7.1 now the battery last for just 1 Day,
I play a lot of games, However I feel the battery is actually going down very quickly , the Third party batteries might not work with the original Firmware of HTC why not try original Batteries.
For Third Party Battery never worked.

Try with battery calibration.

[Q] Reboots when camera in use and when other applications are opened

I have an htc inspire and i rooted and used different roms for about 4 months about 2 weeks ago it started with a reboot when i opened the camera and took a photo with flash, now it reboots each time i open a game or use multimedia for a while,Im using MIUI rom based on ICS for now but ive used LeeDroid, CoreDroid and CM7, while using CM7 the problem appeared and ive tried changing kernel and roms but the problem only grows, what can i do, will a new battery fix this, should i just throw it away(meaning theres no fix), what caused the problem? please help and thanks in advance.
Another one of those issues that have popped up in many threads over and over but keeps being asked. If you overclock your phone then stop overclocking as this could be your problem. But most likely it is not.
Most likely it is your battery. It is not strong enough anymore to supply the correct voltage for battery intense apps and services. Seems the inspire battery just isn't a battery to last for years.
You have already tried numerous ROMs and the issue persists so we know it isn't the ROM. So why don't you plug your charger in and see if the phone reboots on its own with the charger connected. If it does then the phone itself may have issues. If it doesn't then most likely it is a battery issue.
If you are looking to buy a battery I recommend Anker batteries. You can buy 1 from amazon or ebay for under $10. Or you can get 2 with a universal charger for under $20. Been using these for a few months and they seem to be as good if not better than an oem battery.
Have you done a full wipe and gone back to a gingerbread based rom, maybe core Droid again?
I would do that first..I thought I needed a new battery as well, as I couldn't get the battery to last for more than half a day.. I've also replaced my charger as the stock mini USB seemed to be worn as well.

Problem with Anker batteries

I keep getting problems with all the anker batteries I used.
Around 5 different ones now.
My phone shuts down randomly, get's hot and sometimes it is rebooting automatically.
The most annoying thing of it is when it reboots when it is in my pocket, calls etc will be missed untill I turn my phone back on.
I also tried different HTC batteries and all of them are working pretty good, battery life is not the same as the Anker ones but it won't reboot or shut off automatically.
I like to use the anker ones due the longer battery life, does anyone knows what te problem could be? I tried 100 different roms, calibration methods and battery monitoring app but I keep getting problems with it....
Niek
Have you tried an OEM Evo 3D battery? The majority opinion seems to be that the actual capacity is pretty much the same as the Anker, and as an official HTC battery it is probably much more reliable.

But that won't solve the problem?
I want it to work with the Anker one
If the phone shows the same fault with different batteries and ROMs then it sounds like your hardware is faulty and your phone is running much too hot. The OEM battery probably has better tolerance than the Anker, so doesn't overheat and drop the output voltage - hence rebooting.
Either get the motherboard replaced or stick with OEM batteries.
The problem is gone when going back to S-On and using original Roms...
Even with the anker battery...
So i can't send it back for repair... any ideas?

Uhm, it seems a battery issue. Did you try with another battery?

I had a problem with this once with a bad flash of a rom. Once I reflashed the rom it quit the problem and I didn't replace the battery..
On a side note though, check amazon for specials for the batteries for these phones. I got twin 1900mah batteries with charger for less than 30 bucks US. It's worth the investment and added battery life through the day.
It is ALWAYS recommended to do a superwipe before you flash a ROM.
Try superwipe, maybe it might solve your issue.
Cheers.

[Q] Wrong battery percentage???

Hello all!
Ive noticed rather unusual thing. For example - when i get around 50% of battery left i can reboot the device and get about 80% but of coz its dropping faster then normal charged %.
Iam on mugen 1950 mah and have done wiping battery stats and done the calibration.
ROM - HyperNonSence 1.5 with faux 006u kernel.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all in advance!
Yeah this has happened with every Android phone and every battery I've had.
Don't think there is anything you can do about it to be honest. You could reboot it again and sometimes the indicator will fall closer to where it was before.
Or you can use it i.e. play a game or browse the web and usually it will fall to a more accurate level.
Alternatively, just plug it back in and wait till it charges to 100%, unplug and then reboot. If it is still green then it's likely charged fully.
So, it stays 100% after reboot rly long, its true fully charged.
Iam not crying about my battery life, i think its OK, but it can be better of coz =)))
F.e. on my HTC G2 i havent got this problem - percentage raises only for 3-5% after reboot not for 30% like on Sensation. BTW both batteries are Mugen.
Maybe i should try Mugen calibration tool? but seems to me its just a simple original calibration tool.
But TY anyway =p
Wiping the stats through recovery did not help? I do this with every new rom. Perhaps a app from market might help?

Wierd Issue With Battery

Hello people, In a last few days I went through an uncertain and wierd issue with my battery.
Now, allow me to explain the situation.
It happened around this new year, suppose if I charge my battery to 100% and then use my device even for 10 mins (note: all this has been performed without installing any app, with fresh ROM installations by full wipe and using the stock kernel in every case) when my battery discharged to 91%, the point is even if I leave my phone on standby, the battery would last at a maximum of 2-3 Hours.
Now, If during this procedure I power off and re insert the battery, the battery level would suddenly drop to any random percentage, sometimes even 1 or 2%, directly from 80%.
Quiet wierd isn't it? Anyone who has gone through the same situation could please help? Or any ideas that you people have?
This is really Important cause my phone is nothing with a charger at the moment, I can't carry it anywhere.
On a side note, I have tried every other JB, ICS and GB ROMs for testing this issue, even the stock ones but unfortunately the same results
Any help is much much appreciated. Thank you
I think issue is with the battery, you should buy a new one and do the procedure of insert and reinsert, it's happened with me too but i was on HTC Wildfire S.
Try to change the battery or any of your friend have nexus s, you can take him from just for checking..
