Phone Reboots during any Calls [Tried SD Card Method]

Hey Guys, I have the Samsung Galaxy S 4G updated to 2.3.3. My phone will randomly during each and every call I have reboot. This is annoying as hell. I've Searched around the Forums and noticed that people have said to remove your SD Card for 24 Hours. I've done this yet the problem still is here.
Will upgrading my Modem/Baseband to something like KI3 fix my problem? Thanks.

Yeah but all I've seen is all these Custom Rooted Roms and such. I'm stupid with those CWM and Rooting and such like that. I just want the 2.3.5 Stock. I don't want help with trying to get those Custom ROM's even though I do want them.

There is no stock official release if that is what you mean but you can Odin a leaked rom. Their stock.

Edit: I see a DLL and a MD5. All I have to do is just Put them in the Correct Area and Flash? None of that Rooting or VooDoo CWM Junk and such? Just Odin and Use? Right?
Edit2: I'm looking and it seems like a ****load of people are having WiFi Problems? I don't want those...

All gingerbread leaks have had bad wifi so far.

Understood but I can't find the KJ3 Modem to Flash with Odin first.

Did you also flash any of the fixes after flashing the rom same time. I have not flashed it yet.

I read the entire thread, and saw where it says only flash over a stock jvt rom. Not sure what he was referring to. I mean any jvt stock rom and flash over it without wiping?

Uckd5 modem

UCKD5,DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO EXTRACT THE MODEM OUT OF A TAR FILE AND MAKE IT INTO A STAND ALONE ZIP FILE TO FLASH INSTALL? SORY FOR THE NOOB QUESTION,BUT IT SEEMS THAT IS THE ONLY MODEM WHICH WILL WORK PROPERLY ON MY i997 NO MATTER WHICH ROM I USE.. CURENTLY RUNING DLevROM NOW. HAD TO FLASH CUSTOM KERNEL TO GET BLUETOOTH WORKING,NOW JUST NEED UCKD5 MODEM AND THE LINK FOR IT ON XDA IS NOT WORKING.. ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECEIATED.. THANKS.

Easiest way would be to download a ROM that has the modem you want... Unzip the ROM into a folder and open it up.. There is a folder in there called "updates". Double click that folder and there are 2 files you need... redbend_ua and modem.bin. Now you need to create a folder doesnt matter what you name it.. within that folder create 2 new folders.. META-INF and updates. The modem and redbend_ua files go into the updates folder. The META-INF is going to be the folder that contains signature and updater script and update binary.. which in short is what tells cwm what to install and where to install it .... This is something that id highly recommend researching before you try it..
Just to emphasize... if you dont know what your doing you may be finding out what heimdell one click and odin are about..

Alot of people, including myself will disagree with you saying that UCLB3 is better... There are others that are more stable and have better battery life... for example uckl2... It all comes down to personal preference and what works for you.

Battery life's been bad all the time so I don't even consider that anymore. I'm coming from an iphone that would last a helluva lot longer Lol.

Ucklb3 and uckl2 both are having issues with my device..the UCKD5 seems to be the only modem that works flawlessly with my device.. dont have any clue why.. i think my i997 is possesed

If anyone wants to shout for a new rom but can't help team Acid with new builds, just feel free to take my works and edit the build.prop files to mismatch w a new rom (mean change rome name, version, blah blah) and flash lmao...taddaa, it should please any flashaholics if anyone can make 100+ new roms per day by that method and upload it here haha

[Q] PAC Rom question

I was just checking the latest PAC Rom (4.2) post under the Android Development and wanted to flash this rom, I am a little confused on the installation of this rom? Do I download and flash both of these files?
Installation & Download:
Download HERE: pacman.basketbuild
Download: Hercules_ROM
Or am I missing something. Really wanting to check this out but don't want to mess up my phone.
