No, it will not work, use this website/tool: http://revolutionary.io/
Thanks for your help

Google patched the exploit that gingerbreak took advantage of back in May. The thunderbolt firmware was released long after so you can assume it was patched in it as well.
Thanks for your help

Not for the current stock Thunderbolt, only if you are running a ROM with Gingerbread as the base.

Unless your totally stuck on Skype, Google the gtalk 1.3 installer and install the Google talk with video chat. Works over wifi or data and its free.

Did you download the right one? There's a Froyo and a Gingerbread one in that directory.

The link I sent you installed a working gtalk with video chat in every single rom I've tried, which is about 8 I think, so it should work fine.

It's interesting, but no. All this is is a source compiler that puts everything into a flashable zip. You would still need a working source to be able to run this.

That sucks I wonder idmf some of the epic development guys could help us with anything moving this forward for the fact that we have official gingerbread now??

Is there anyway to root the phone without a computer
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
You can't root without s-off and you can't get s-off without one, so no.

i agree with the no before this

There is a fix in the HTC Evo Lte General section. Or you could Google the error, it should take you there

Dude, I love you! Thanks for posting this, utorrent is my favorite torrent program for PC and I've always wanted it on my GS2.
I started downloading it and I got a Insufficient Space error. Ill try again and let you know how it goes.

Lol sorry. Just keep trying.
Googling the error is probably a good idea, like mentioned before.

Works nicely on my Admire. Needs the up load/download rate and completed download % in notification pulldown though. Kudos to the developers for their nice work
