I am trying to upgrade my 2.1Android to the 2.3.5 with Dual Touch (MiniCM7Pro_V21), untill now the problem is that i can't install Xrecovery,
the problem i'm facing is this ERROR while trying to install xrecovery:
21/046/2011 13:46:14 - ERROR - cannot stat '.\devices\U20\bootkit\bootkit.tar': No such file or directory
My telephone is an X10 Mini Pro, Build-nr: 2.0.A.0.504 and I think that is the problem.
I've already tried to use the "All in one X10MiniPro" software, is says everything has been installed including xrecovery, but still phone won't show the boot screen after pressing the "Back" button.
If then everythin works I can start worrying about the Querty/Azerty problem it will couse

New here. I have downloaded the version of swype I found here called Fixed-Swype-HTCBlackBird-3.9.10.10.5032.CAB on my Omnia II there wasn't enough room to install on device so installed on my storage. Install was successful. when I open the keyboard option when texting swype is not there . Can any one please help?

hello noob question ih have a x10 mini pro build number ends 504 i have rooted this device and successfully installed app2sd. my girlfriend has the same phone but has build number ending 24, i have also rooted this device and installed busybox and xrecovery. But when i try to install app2sd on this one it keeps saying permission denied cant mount ext2. if i use root explorer and go to data/app i am unable to open the app folder.this folder has a yellow icon with a star inside. pls pls pls can anyone help i am in the UK with x10 mini pro (u20i) and really want app2sd on this device.

I'm using spice mi 310. I want to install custom ROM on this device.
I've rooted my phone using z4root. I've installed Busybox installer, ROM manager, Script manager, terminal emulator, superuser.
Whenever I tried to install ClockWorkMod Recovery through ROM manager it shows different phone models other than Spice mi 310.
It is showing following phone models.
1. Huawei Pulse Mini
2. Dell Streak
3. Huawei Pulse
4. Commtiva Z71
5. Geekphone ONE
6. Spice MI700
7. Huawei Ascend
8. Huawei U8220/U8230
Please suggest because i'm new to android & want to learn and try new things!

I'm facing the reboot problem with my phone twice in a day. On notification bar the "SD card removed successfully" and then instantly "preparing for SD card" like this two messages pop ups in every 3 to 4 hours. I don't know what is the problem. Can you help with this issue?

This is the first time I'm ever asking for an advice online so don't judge me too hard, I'm out of options, been googling for hours.
I have SE Xperia X10 mini (not pro). A while ago I rooted it and removed some annoying system apps. Removed the apps that were labeled as safe to remove by people who have done this before. As a result market stopped working, been trying to fix it but nothing seemed to help. Last option was a factory reset. Did that. Now I have a phone with no apps, cant access web, don't have a file manager, no music player, no nothing And market is still not working.
Only good thing is that now market is just stuck in "Starting download" position as before it had this annoying error message popping up.
I'm wondering is there a way for me to reinstall the phone completely with market not working and not having a file manager either?

P.S. I use ubuntu, but will figure out how to run win files soon. BTW might this thing with adb.exe + usb debugging help me install apps through USB, so I can atleast install file manager and then it would be easier to figure out what to do next?
Have you tried fixing with Sony PC Companion? I had a similar problem where I deleted some things I shouldn't have and PC Companion fixed it for me.
did you use sd-ext? because i have got the same problem which is i have to do partition again to ext3
Market is stuck whenever i try to download multiply files, but it was solved once it's upgraded to Play Store
and yes you can install applications via USB, just be sure to activate USB Debugging in Development menu, there is an windows application that allow mass apk installation, just search it

i installed the hp toolbox and did a complete wipe and reset removing webos and android but when I selected to install android it does not mount to my computer so im unable to put the new roms in it. I tried severel times and still it does not mount to my cp . I know everything is correct on my cp cause I had just completed installing the toolbox and removed web os and installed android data rom on my other touchpad with no issues, how can I fix it? since it wont mount and all thats on the moboot menu is reboot, webos recovery, and shutdown
