I am trying to upgrade my 2.1Android to the 2.3.5 with Dual Touch (MiniCM7Pro_V21), untill now the problem is that i can't install Xrecovery,
the problem i'm facing is this ERROR while trying to install xrecovery:
21/046/2011 13:46:14 - ERROR - cannot stat '.\devices\U20\bootkit\bootkit.tar': No such file or directory
My telephone is an X10 Mini Pro, Build-nr: 2.0.A.0.504 and I think that is the problem.
I've already tried to use the "All in one X10MiniPro" software, is says everything has been installed including xrecovery, but still phone won't show the boot screen after pressing the "Back" button.
If then everythin works I can start worrying about the Querty/Azerty problem it will couse

I've tested this solution with many versions of Superuser and SuperOneClick, but when the root done, sometimes a notification told me to "#update su binary" when i click update, it said fails, I want to use ProxyDroid application on my tablet, this application needs root to function, but when i open it, the tablet hangs up !
Anybody can help me with that ?

You could try z4root on a Froyo device. It's a bit older, but works well for me.
Without running into a NAND lock, I've never had a problem using SuperOneClick to be honest, and I recommend it to just about everyone. Provided you have the correct drivers installed on your machine and your NAND/bootloader lock is open, I haven't had a phone that doesn't work with it yet.

Hi Everyone.I need your help.I have a micromax funbook infinity p275.Yesterday I uninstalled busybox pro form my device and then after a restart.My funbook shows 0 in internal memory and resets everytime I reboot it.I fixed the problem in past also.I just have to move the busybox file form system-Xbin to bin.But now when I install root explorer and open it.I shows no root access :'( When I tried it with Android commander same problem.Is there any way to solve it ?? Or can I flash my funbook infinity without livesuite?? Please help me out. (no noobs please)

I have Tipo Dual mobile and as i said am not able to install application on External Card. For the same i read other threads of http://forum.xda-developers.com/ with that i am able to know that my phone must be rooted.i done same with UnlockRoot application. Once i rooted the phone automatically SU (Super User) application installed. Now when i trying to copy the vold.fstab OR change the content, its not allowing me to change or copy. when i am checking in SU log its saying that PRO version required.
How can i do without PRO version? as i see in following thread that so many people did it without Pro version.
