I am sorry if it is a repeat.
I've been trying to get news from CM, and today i heard they've been following jt1134's work.
Just in case you dont know; jt has a "working" kang of CM9 for the charge (everything but camera, and data is working).

No it doesn't. Not trolling but I really don't see a point to this. Everyone has their personal favorite rom. I would let the user decide his/her own.

Check the Google+ page for the Cyanogen. I Spoke with them this morning, trying to get news on CM for the Charge.... After a while i found the post above, and sent it to them. It still too raw, but they've been eyeballing it. (Well, what was said to me is that Jt's work is always on their radar)
Look for this post on the Google+ page of CM:"We currently have 52,707 followers of +CyanogenMod. Can we reach a goal of 60k followers by the end of March? Help spread the word to the various Android communities that this is the best place to hear the freshest Android porting development news!" The conversation is on it.

Ive been looking out for a while for a dev supporting CM on the charge. That was the place I found mention of your ROM... Well once I did find it I went looking for someone at CM to see if there was news on supporting the Charge. Thats when it was mentioned that they watch your work...

No one has "Official" ICS yet. Just the leak that may become official. Its not official until AT&T puts their stamp on it and releases it publicly.

Of course it does and yes it's reversible. I don't think you should be messing with anything though with questions like that

depending on the next nexus device i might jump ship just for AOSP and updates. Waiting on manufacturers and carriers to get their butts in gear is annoying. But im happy with my skyrocket for now and will ride it out on my contract.
Also, a 0.0.1 update isnt that big of a deal. If its a 1.0.0 update, or a 0.1.0 update i would be jealous.

People have questions dont need to blunt them down when they arent unsure. I know how to mess with Androids rooted/unlocked and messed with every feature possible on my Nexus S.
Just got my Skyrocket yesterday, refurb from att for 20$. As of now i have both phones. I was just wondering because on the NS im able to root and unroot. with the skyrocket i havent seen an simple root/unroot. I have 90 days to test it out and return it. So thats why i was asking because if I install ICS on it, and something messes up i would like a new one. Simple question.

Nexus for sure
Nexus seems to be a much better choice at this point.
Only knock on it is the 5.0 MP camera...
Better resolution, bigger screen, and no carrier crap... *sigh*

Sorry but Uhhhhhh..googling around it seems to me they don't offer that on att right? Just double checking.. (for me I have to stay with att)

I have one issue, the internet browser is not loading the web pages, apps like facebook and G+ work and update but no luck with web pages. Anybody else having this issue?
All fixed itself after a couple of reboots.

It does fine when it is available for allocation to user apps instead of being taken up by the heavy os itself.

Help me please!!

I mistakenly flashed a vibrant rom on my Tmobile samsung galaxy s 4G and now the phone keeps rebooting after showing the Splash screen. Can someone tell me how i can flash back the Tmobile stock rom ? I can get into Download mode but not recovery. Im willing to donate to someone if they help me. Please Reply.

Get into download mode and use heimdall one click (its pinned in the sgs4g development section.
And if you want to donate to a worthy Samsung galaxy s 4g related cause , you should consider donating to the sgs4g food drive (thread is in this section)

What about donating to people like bhundven ,m4xm4n, jt, and jeffsf? Without those people 4.0.4 would not be possible.

Just have to say, I installed the new Play Store APK on my Skyrocket just to see what was in store for the new version...
YAY!
Compatible with JB roms, not GB as someone below graciously pointed out... I wouldn't know about GB roms...
1. You can now remove apps from the ALL APPS section...
2. Keeps track of where you were in a list... no more having to scroll around after hitting back button... It takes you right back where you were...
3. Notifications are not as generic... if you install/update an app, the apps icon is now in the notification area not just a generic icon...
4. Multi-select deletion of apps... just long press on an app then select away...

I've got it on my rocket.

If only they added multi select then it would make deleting apps so much easier and faster.

Ahh nice! funny how you're the one wanting to update and hes reluctant
But yeah most of the new apps/apks are geared towards ICS/JB so they're long away from having backwards support. Even with Google Now it took a while to get it to actually work on ICS which works perfectly on CM10 btw. But yeah thanks for the heads up! :good:

I'm trying to talk him into it. He just doesn't do change well and doesn't see the benefit yet.

Just do it... and theme it as GB.... LOL!
