Im out of Boston Mass and i got 4G running again!!!!
Thought I would spread the word and let people know Verizon actually fixed it.
So turn off your wifi and and let ur lte run free again

I'm in NJ and still have 1x, going on 27 hours now. Not back everywhere yet.

It came back in Maryland at about 1:54 AM EDT (give or take 5 minutes, as I wasn't checking connectivity constantly).
Was it even down for 24 hours? I don't think I noticed it being down on Tuesday evening, and I was up until about 3 AM Wednesday morning.
Anyway, the stability and speed are pretty good.

LA Still 1x

Miami, Fl. I'm back on 4G as well.

Tampa FL here and I have 4G back, but its going out and back in, but i do indeed have it finally after around 27 hours without.

West LA area here, I have 3G back but no 4G.

Columbus OHIO.... the folks here in the switch mentioned possible firewall issues as a root cause...

Still 3G at the best here in the Twin Cities. By the way congrats to the Bruins for beating Canadiens.

thats incorrect. not sure who you talked to in the columbus switch.
if you're 4G came back i dont think it will be back for long.

3G back in Irvine, Ca...no 4G yet, but switched back to 3G/4G setting with ##778#

Back on but on and off. I still am dropping to 3G then 1x and back to 4G. Hope they get it fixed.

4G close to Chicago, Illinois ?

Im going in a business trip for a week and I would like to know If 4G works in Chicago , if yes if is good? And I'm going to oak brook (close to Chicago) and also 3G speeds as well, any information will help and I hope someone from the area has a nexus s 4G

Chicago is blanketed with Clear's wimax service, so I'm sure you're good.

4g is great around Chicago. Oak Brook should be covered without an issue. 3g speeds are hit or miss depending on congestion. Signal is great but speeds can lag.

Thanks guys , I wanted to make sure I didn't have to add wifi to my room to get in touch with my family and get some stuff done in paperwork , plus I wanted to have really good info since nexus week WWDC and E3 are on I want to make sure I don't miss anythinf lol

I have 4G coverage out in Naperville. Was in Oakbrook today with full 4G bars. Have never had a problem with 4G even when I got the EVO back in June of last year.

Is it just testing so far or are we fully online just noticed 4G this morning? I got 13.87 mb/s down and 7.87 uploads any body in the central valley let me know if your getting it too!!

i have been on 4g here off and on for the last 1.5 months here in fresno. seems they fully hit the switch on monday. i am in fowler and we are getting 4g from clovis all the way to selma. works GREAT so for. last month they were turning it on like 4 to 5 hours every other day it seemed. now its stable. i am getting speeds in the 9.5 down and 4.5 up.

I have not been connecting 4g at all, except for a couple of times but wasn't really getting 4g speed.

what rom and radio?

4G switched on for the first time for me the other day here in Fresno, but it's back on 3G at the moment. When it's up, it seems pretty damn fast. Though it does have an issue where it'll show the 4G icon at the top, but not have any connection for a minute or so. 3G did that too.

Can anyone tell me if 4g is working in Kerman. In particular, I'm interesed in the intersection of 180 and Bishop (or Belmont and Bishop) or close to that vicinity.

Wish they would turn it on here in Bako too.

Maybe they're just testing it in waves, or something, but when they first turned it on I got 4G at my house for about three days. Now it reverts back to 3G unless I go about a block away from my house. Sigh.

This is what I get one I try to switch over to lte, it connects to network but no actually data connection.

Impressive. Mine isn't anywhere near that here, but it is in the 15Mbps range, very good.

Hes likely on EE4. Which is accurate for Froyo. I've hit the 30's before and I live in Houston. There's another guy on here that has 38Mbps downstream in his sig I think, in Houston.

I peaked at 23mbps here on the north side of Fort Worth. Which is still pretty awesome. Now though I get a constant 10-15mbps pretty much all around the area.

Yea im on the EE4, with Speakeasy and 3 bars i get 25mbps download.

Yeah the max i get here in San Antonio is 22mbps. Just came over from sprint with an evo 3d and i couldn't be happier.

Wow, those are amazing speeds! The best I've seen in is 22 around I35W & 820 north. Unfortunately, though, I live in Denton and work off 35W where the signal is splotchy.

if you upgrade to the 2.3.4 leak, the speedtest.net app isn't reliable....

I'm in Austin Tx. We just got 4g last week and it's SLOWWWWW. On the app Speed test I go 71ms ping with 4.86dn and .62up. With Speakeasy I got 6.61dn and .67 up.
It's in the same ball park as the 3g. Not too happy with it right now.

In queens right now been trying to get 4g for a half now and its not coming.

Can somebody help me? Phone been stuck on 3g/1x all day and will not go back to 4g. I powered it off and did a battery pull. Still no luck. Called Verizon and they dont know what to do, they said I should do a battery pull and I refuse to do that.

I'm on stock. Just don't understand why its not working

Seems like its a queens thing. I went through Manhattan and I am now in the Bronx and 4g is pumping.

i think its all of nyc im in staten island

ok thanks for posting man! When we have these problems we should call Verizon so they can know we have a problem in the city....because when I called they didnt know any problems going on in the city and couldn't do nothing for me they wanted me to do a hard reset. Everything is good now I am in the bronx now 3:04 Am was out drinking lol

I spoke to someone today about slow data since January and they told me that they're moving to Network Vision towers right now (3G/4G in one tower). She said they happen to be doing NY over the weekend, specifically Queens and Brooklyn. That might be it.
