How to install:
Needed Application: Root explorer
CUT (XDA does not support piracy)
After installation, copy the folder Done_app and Done_frame into phone SD, not the external one.
Open root explorer
go to: System -> APP and press button Mount R/W (delete only the .odex file).
Go to Sdcard, select all files into Done_app, press MOVE, go to System app and Paste (replace).
(now the system will copy the files, don't worry if the phone crashes... if crash happens you repeat Move and past)
Finally, go to Done_frame, select all MOVE and paste System -> framework.
Hence, you delete only the .odex file into framework.
Reboot system... it takes 2 minutes to reboot....
The deodex procedure is now complete.
You can now install 14 toggle button and lockscreen done by me...

italian does not imply awful english

I thank JZanetti for the work about deodex but say it's the only italian guy who make something about I9003 isn't true. What about Skin1980 and his work on CF-Root, Namaless and his custom rom DarkGenMod etc?

You can't post root explorer here.
Any wifi drops?

Can u tell me how flash .tar file with odin?
P.s. I m a newbie

You are posting the same question in different threads and forums.
For God's sake read this thread.
Don't try stupid things without understand what you are doing.
Odin is not for newbies, first study than flash.

Backup rom

I have rooted my M2 and i made mistake and uninstalled some system apps. I fought wipe would help but instead that it is worst. I don't have maybe some app and after wipe i see only unlock screen and can't do anything. Also i can't get to system files because wipe turned-off debugging mode in usb connection.
So I need some backup rom(Europe/UK/DE) with original system applications and information how to restore it. It is possible?
you can use rsd lite and one of these firmware
http://and-developers.com/sbf:milestone2
I used second from up because this link only works
It is DE beacause german is default, but i had just the same.
For others:
1. Power off phone
2. Up (on keyboard) + power button to open bootloader
3. Connect with usb cable
4. Start flashing
Thank you for help
The BRAZILIAN link is down. Error 404.
Someone knows where to download?
I just relised that in second rom buttons Y and Z are replaced so I found how to rapair it:
1. First you need root your phone ex. with z4root (go to google)
2. Install some manager with root acces ex. Super Manager
3.This is default file /system/usr/keylayout/qwerty.kl (for all devices) with key mapping but in my milestone 2 it was another with name umts_milestone2-keypad.kl
4.We have to replace Y and Z in this file.
5.ATTENTION!!! IF you copy file and then paste and raplace it with edited file it my have difrent acces permission so be sure that this file has rw-r--r-- If you dont set first rw like ---rwxrwx phone won't be able to read file and all buttons won't be working(bottom screen buttons too!!!, only power will work)ATTENTION!!! but don't wory i was be able to set permission without using any key but only screen
6.Reboot phone

A little help needed to point me in the right direction, first radio flash!!

Using Gingerbeast ROM
Trying to figure out how to update/flash my firstradio. I downloaded the latest ATT radio (.06.06.30_M) file and placed it in my SD card (I remove the old PD98IMG.zip file correct and replace with new one?). I am using rom manager and went into reboot into recovery then:
install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
Selected the PD98IMG
Yes-install
then at the bottom it said:
Finding update pack
opening update pack
installing update
installation aborted
After reading instruction;
Download the PD98IMG.zip file. Place this file on the root of your SD card. Reboot to bootloader. When prompted, press the Volume Up button to install. Then reboot.
I was never prompted......for anything.
Please forgive me this is my first..
Thanks
Any suggestions

Are you sure you booted to "bootloader" and not recovery. Your first part implies that you tried this from recovery which WILL NOT WORK.
Are you sure that your file is called PD98IMG.zip and not mangled by mac or windows OS which try to unzip or rename to .zip.zip respectively.
Correct you point out my mistake, did not realize it was a difference. Trying it now.
Thanks
OK got done, that was simple.
Now running Gingerbeast with the latest ATT radio.
Great and thanks, on my way...
And one more if I may for today. Do I remove the zip files (PD98IMG and ROM) from my sd card after I install. Will the PD98IMG zip file affect anything if I try another ROM by leaving it on my sd card or trying out different ROMS does not effect my radio???

You can leave it on but I prefer you move it off the root of the sd card just in case you get in a bootloop
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
You can leave them if you want though I would remove/rename/move the pd98img.
Flashing different roms wont affect your radio. Though you might have to flash your radios corresponding ril if the rom does not include it
No hay de queso no mas de papa
Understood, thanks
I have found with Coredroid, that in order to get the RIL to flash, I have to manually mount /system in Recovery before flashing the .zip, just FYI. That said, it could have to do with me trying to flash with gtg's RIL flasher from ROM Manager, so YMMV. (Well, now, of course, the .06.06.30 RIL is in my Rom Manager downloads folder, so it's just a matter of reflashing it after flashing a new ROM)
Thanks for the reply guys!
New problem I need to figure out, now when I go to check my voice mail (hold down #1 on dial pad) it says no voice mail number on SD card...
humm something I need to go try and figure, I need my voice mail.
Go into call setting then voicemail settings and add your number.
No hay de queso no mas de papa
THANKS that took 30 secs after reading this post and spending the last 15 mins trying to google it with no results!
thanks
No problem. Had similar question when I first starting gingerbeast

You need to delete some of the apps first because the rom is too big..
Change the keyboard, install a new one and delete the old one..also delete the launcher & use a small size one..
delete ringtones from system/media (use link2sd+root explorer for that)
And install light gapps from here..
Read the thread again before posting...people there have mentioned how to flash gapps..

In system/app delete these:
CMWallpapers.apk
Development.apk
Email.apk
Exchange2.apk
Galaxy4.apk
HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk
LiveWallpapers.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
QuickSearchBox.apk
Rom Manager
SoundRecorder.apk
SpareParts.apk
VideoEditor.apk
In system/media/audo remove ringtones.
Some of these applications is not in the ROM, but I do not know which.
What's up, remove it and Add to archive with winrar or 7z and make .zip file.
Thanks for your reply..
another Problem
Sorry, but i have an other problem in the same rom, the flash player don't work.

I do not know. I've not have such a case. The important thing is that before you paste the file in
Root Explorer to set the R / O instead of the R / W.
Yes before i paste the file in Root Explorer i set the R / O instead of the R / W.
I also tried to replace the lib folder already present in the internal memory with the folder that I downloaded from the post, but then I can't change the permissions of the file...

In Root Explorer copy file and go in data/data/flashe player and paste there. Copy from original place. From maps where is installation package for flashe player.
The original paack is zip file, i extract this and copy with root explorer but the file there isn't in lib folder!!

i dont know, maybe, but i'm not sure... look for a Stock Rom for this especific model on ZTE web page, extract the Modem.img and try it.
(nose si funcione, quizas, pero no estoy seguro, trata de buscar una Rom oficial en la pagina de ZTE de tu pais y prueba con el Modem.img haber si te funciona.)

Go to root explorer search for the file and see if the permission is correct, if not just change it in root explorer too and restart.
Try to replace it in root explorer. No need to do in twrp. Sometime it doesn't change if change it in twrp.
