[FIX] Dead Space horizontal mode HC 3.2

Finally it's working fine. All what you need to do is turn off 3G/WiFi, then put your Transformer horizontally and try run Dead Space 4-5 times.

whats the launcher etc your using looks a cool set up,also cool game
could you post launcher and add on ets your using like how the wall paper stays on when you enter apps

It's ADW EX, Extended Controls, Simple Text, Minimalistic Text, BobClockD3, StorageEther2
You can set up it in ADW.

I tried to install Dead space on my eee pad after reading this thread, game installed perfectly and runs smooth only issue is the graphics.. There is some thing wery wierd going on :S

Now if somebody could figure out how to make it playable with a mouse and keyboard that would be great. Until then I think I'll stick to using it on my xperia play.
How did you get those folders for the short cuts on the launcher? Is that an ADW specific feature or can the stock launcher be configured for that?

No, in stock launcher you can't use your own icons for folders.
To make my own icons I'm using minimalistic text.

It seems, that this method is working only with dock. I tried to launch the game without it 14 times in a row - still in portrait. When I plugged the tablet in the dock - worked with first try in landscape.

I can run it in landscape without dock

Hmm, I installed Chainfire3D, and installed the qualcomm plugin, but I'm still getting the white, textureless world. Not sure which version you guys acquired, but the one I found comes with two different rars for data and two different apk's. I installed the normal apk, the other being a "fixed orientation", and have tried both data packs, which I extracted to both the /sdcard and /Removable/MicroSD. Halp!
Edit: Whoops. Had to activate the driver in Chainfire.

Yes, Chainfire requires root.

AirDroid working fix for google tv 2

if you set orientation control to landscape then potrait errors disappear
this has the effect of being able to install and try different apps for compatibility
I now have AirDroid (by setting landscape mode) working which really helps with installs and app exports etc
tested with Sony NSZ-GT1 honeycomb 3.1 offical update,note you may need to force close airdroid after first run

orientation control(paid $1.49),AirDroid (free) both found in android market
this also allows other potrait only apps to work,note some still force close
other orientation apps may also work but untested
if you find a free one let me know

Anyone ever find any alternatives to Orientation control to set to landscape? I would like to install airdroid on my logitech revue.
*update* Answering my own question "Rotation Locker" is free and seems to work the same. It does have to be sideloaded (i downloaded it via dropbox) as market says it's incompatible but it works fine. I used it to install tapatalk, airdroid and mint.com.

[Q] Nova 3 issues (graphics)

When I first started playing Nova 3 it was alright. But when i started playing again i get only the hud elements only. I have tried using chainfire but in vain. Is there any solution for this?
moreover i couldnt update also as when i use nova 3 v1.0.4 apk the installation and dowloading titles flickers strangely. I am on A strange dilemma.
I will be grateful if someone is able fix this issues i am facing.

I tested RR3 on TF101 with CM10.1 but that's lag a lot.
Is it possible to explain how to configure CM10 to avoid this lags ?

I haven't used CM10, but if you can overclock try that first. Check my sig for a free app to do it.

You can overclock natively in CM10, it's in performance settings, no app needed.

The update is causing lag.
Hope it clears your doubt.

I been playing RR3 on my modded stock rom tf101 and it didn't lag at all...ran perfect along with NFS most wanted...idk but seems to me that these roms y'all have seems to help smoothness and newness of your tf101 but if nothing is wrong then no need to fix or use different ROMs causing your tab to think differently and run harder...but that's just my opinion on this tab as I'm a heavy customizer on other phones...try the touch booster

I am not having issues play RR3 with my TF rooted running only the stock ROM. It would be cool if the mirrors worked though.

I rooted my tf101 yesterday (CM10.1 nightlies ROM) and now I was trying to install RR3.
The problem that I have is that I cannot install this game.
Device is not compatible.
I know I am doing something wrong and I searched this forum.
Can someone send me in the right direction?

Could be a vareity of things, like Build.prop, screen dpi, or market region.

Theres a real racing 3 config app on the play store that lets you choose graphics presets, lags on my tf300 too but if i put it on low-high preset it runs fine.

I downloaded the APK over on the Nexus 7 forum & that was a post at the beginning of the month. I don't know if there is an updated version or not. If there is I would like to try it. There is a MOD to the graphics setting to make the mirrors work. I did try it & the game was almost unplayable. I reverted back to the original setting. I am rooted but completely stock & the game is really smooth with the normal settings.

hello guys. i dont have computer, but i want to share with you a very good application.
if you are bored of playing modern combat 4 or 3 on 20-40fps - here is a solution how to improve performance having the same quality on galaxy S4 ROOTED ONLY and make it work on 60fps very good for multiplayer playing.

choose your android version (depends on android version, so if you downloaded wrong version, it just won't work.)
Android 4.3 (and i guess later.. ): and it's called "resolution changer".
Android 4.2.2 or earlier: it's called "Display scaller free".

KNOWN ISSUES.
0. As I said - you must be rooted!
1.1 Stop saying "just open terminal and..." okay - try. Get on-screen keyboard force close error, get mad, do restore or flash firmware again if you think that terminal is better way to chose resolution Than come back here and say "well - forget terminal, guys!".
1.2 So, you have mistake with keyboard? good :> but.... mabye do you have the same problem with default launcher? I use "smart launcher" - the best, the fastest, the most comfortable launcher for android ever. +no bugs/glitches.
2. If you want to play "black ops zombies" on galaxy S4 - 16:9 resolutions/720x1280 <--- this will fix screen issues in this game
3. will be soon i don't forget this thread, i just wanna make it useful

Or an easier way to do this is just go in to terminal and enter:
su
am display-size 720x1280
(You can put any resolution into the command)
Touchwiz and some stock apps will mess up a bit so it's better using a custom launcher like Nova
Android 4.2 or lower only, command doesn't work in 4.3 as well as this app I'm guessing

He just gave you the necessary codes to use on Terminal Emulator. That's all you need to do.
You must have root as well or else it won't work.

as i said - i dont have computer right now, so i cant upload links and pictures - mabye i am too stupid for this, and also it takes a lot of time
after you got this free application, open it, PHONES --> 16:9 resoliutions --> 576x1024...
you will get small resoliution. DO NOT EXPERIMENT WITH VERY SMALL RESOLIUTIONS, BETTER MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE.

I have just tried a search for "Display Scaler free" on Google Play but it doesn't find it. All the apps it finds are completely irrelevant.
