This is probably more of a kernel issue then a rom issue. ANyone using BAMF 3.0 RC2 w/ dreamkernel 2.2.2 and a bluetooth headset confirm this issue.
When I connect my headset a Platronics VoyagerPro+ it connects to both the phone and media audio. I only want it to connect to Phone Audio and play sound from speakers. When I uncheck media audio then do a headset disconnect or reconnect (turn off and on headset) it reselects media audio to be played on headset.
i believe thats a known issue.
I'm on the same set-up, but I use a Motorola headset and it doesn't connect at all to the media audio. I agree that it is probably a kernel issue that one of those guys might be able to help with.
I wasn't sure what spot to post thanks

I've noticed issues with the A2DP side of the Bluetooth connection. Voice is fine but music Idoesn't always connect, I'll have to reset the connection to get the A2DP going.... Anyone experiencing this?
mine works fine with 2 different pairs of headphones. Sorry to hear you're having issues.
works fine here with stereo bluetooth headset. might be your external device
Hey guys,
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem, but when I am listening to music on my phone using bluetooth headphones I occasionally have the sound cut out, transfer to my phones speaker for a second, and then either pause the music or resume playing the music on my headphones. Every now and then when I am listening to music, the music cuts out but my music player (either stock HTC Music app, Doubletwist, or Winamp) will still show that it is trying to play the music, but no audio will be coming from my headphones. When i try to pause/play the the music again, the music player freezes and eventually everything on my phone locks up and the "HTC quietly brilliant" splash screen will pop up as the phone spontaneously reboots itself.
After the reboot finishes, my Bluetooth connection will show as "Turning on..." but it never officially does, and music still doesn't play through my headphones. My headphones will still beep at me, indicating that they have established a connection at some point.
Anyone else experience this problem? It only seemed to pop up after the ICS update. If it comes up. I am running the stock Sense ROM, non rooted.
you are only the 3rd person I have seen with this problem myself included, thing is mine only happens when I listen to Pandora.I was told it was more than likely the bluetooth module is bad,not so sure about that
Bluetooth problems
Yeah I'm getting the same problem. It's got sooo bad now, bluetooth isn't even loading after a reboot - getting 'stuck' at "bluetooth is turning on". Pain in the wotsit as I can't use the phone across bluetooth in the car. Occasionally loads then crashes a few minutes later. Several reboots and it MIGHT work for a short period,, but nearly always crashes. Anyone know of a way to reset the pairings - maybe that's the problem?
Mines a standard non -rooted Sensation on O2
Cheers

Same problem
I also have same problem. Unpredictable Bluetooth headset function off-and-on and short period (a few minutes) working.
Some day it works well and some bad day it's gone. What happen to my phone !!!
I'm not sure, it's hardware or software problem. I flashed to a few ROMs (Vipers, Virtous Inquisition, Megadroid), this same problem still occurs.
I have installed ViperSAGA v1.0.0 on my phone and it is running real smooth.
But I have 2 issues that I need some help with:
1. When I listen to music or a book the sound is distorted, it sounds horrible.
2. I´ve connected my bluetooth headset, Sony/Ericson MW600, and it was discovered OK. Playing music works but when I tried a phonecall the person that I called could not hear me. Even when I turned off the headset the problem remained. Only solution to get the microphone to work again was by rebooting the phone. Have tested the different sound options but no improvement.
I have HTCDev-unlocked Desire S with Andromadus CM10.1 test build ROM (flashed after wiping everything I could wipe in 4ext, boot.img reflashed via fastboot). I experience problems with sound recording: the sound is being recorded OK until I switch to different sound device (eg. to wired or bluetooth headset). FWIW this seems similar to the sound problems that were noticed in Andromadus back in August; I assume those problems are fixed by now, but I may be wrong.
I thought that the problem boiled down to no sound from other devices, but in CSipSimple app I'm also heard on the other end if I force routing sound directly to bluetooth headset in app's settings.
Does anyone experience anything similar? Does anyone know the way to fix it?
FWIW, I played with echo test in CSipSimple, and it appears that at least on wired headset mic is not completely silent - it appears to emit some static noise...
Since build 20 bluetooth headset works in phone calls (but not in google talk). Wired headset issue remains.
