[Q]Where do I download adb drivers? - General Questions and Answers

Hello, I recently switched to an android phone after using iphone for several years. I'm trying to root my phone, I'm not sure if superoneclick will work with my Rogers Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE. Does anyone know where I can find adb drivers for my phone? Which root method would you recommend and probably safest.
thanks

[Q] usb debugging connected not showing up in notification bar on samsung infuse 4g

Hello. I am trying to root my Samsung Infuse 4g. I found a root and unlock script on this website but it never works and i have usb debugging checked but it doesnt show up in the notification bar on my phone, Can anyone help?
Have you installed the official Samsung USB drivers? http://d-h.st/sKF
Are you currently running Gingerbread (2.3.6)? If so, I'm fairly sure that the one-click root/unlock script won't work for you. Since my Infuse had a factory install of 2.3.6, I had to root with Heimdall, and then use a hex editor to find the unlock code.

[Q] Rooting procedures for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GSM

Hello XDA.
I recently got a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GSM from a cousin asking for me to root it and install CM on it for her. I am quite familiar with rooting, unlocking and installing custom ROMs but that was on Nexus devices. After some searching around the forum, I find it a bit odd & different from how the process of doing so in Nexus devices.
My questions are:
1) Does it work in the same procedure? Unlock bootloader -> Install recovery -> flash SuperSU (root) & ROM
Because that's what I did with my Nexus devices and it worked fine.
2) Does ADB work the same way? Does fastboot even exist in all Android devices?
I haven't tried yet, as I do not have the proprietary cable with me.
3) How do I completely restore back to stock by flashing?
I saw an Odin method (which I am unfamiliar with) but it says, it requires me to be in Android itself. What if I am stuck in bootloop?
Thanks so much.

Having trouble finding the correct root method

I just got my galaxy s5 with boost mobile. I previously rooted my s3 with boost mobile so I know to root with the files based on the sprint version. However i dont know what to do because my device came pre installed with android 5.0. I seen one method but it was made for a specific build number and people bricked their device trying to root without that build number. Also im not to privy of using the fastboot method and adb. So can anyone point me in a direction to help me get rooted.

Want to enable multi-users on Samsung S4 but can't root phone

Hi!
I want to enable the multi-users functionality on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It runs Android version 5.0.1, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I need to root my phone in order to edit my build.prop file.
Problem is, I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-m1919v, which is a phone from Videotron in Quebec, Canada.
I've tried Kingroot and Towelroot, but neither will support this phone.
Another common way to root an android phone seems to be by using Odin and going into download mode, but since this exact phone isn't on the list of "approved" devices, I am reluctant to try it... I really don't want to break it.
I've checked on this forum and haven't found an answer to my problem yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TL;DR: Need help rooting Samsung S4 SGH-M1919V
