Why couldn't Asus have made the keyboard dock Bluetooth as well? That way we could have seperated the dock from the tablet and still used the keyboard. And maybe have it charge over bluetooth as well. Is this even possible? It would be cool if it was.
charging over bleutooth isnt posible

I'm sorry I offended you like this. I was just looking for information. I wish to beg your forgiveness and hope you will take my feelings into consideration
there was a thread about the wishes for using the dock as a bluetooth kb.

Am going to try this over the weekend. Will be very useful for me.
Works perfectly with my 5D MKII. Now this is a killer app!
Definitely going to get this app. What usb adapter are you using

Anything designed for a galaxy tab of some sort will work
It's the USB Connection Kit EPL-1PL0BEGXAR from Samsung. Works perfect.

The one I'm using - no it isn't, but that one works too
Thanks guys, just got a Rebel T2i for my wife and this app looks like some fun.
Hi all. Has anyone got this nice looking dock for their Desire HD? Here's a few pics...

I use a Case Mate Barely There case, and curious if the DHD will dock with it on. It's quite a thin case, so I'm hoping the answer is yes. Hopefully someone can try this and let me know.
Hi,
I have bought some months ago the same dock, different name but it seems the same by your photos, mine's brand is KIDIGI..
I have only one complaint: you can plug two USB micro connectors one to is to connect to your computer and the other one is to a AC charger. The last one is not giving enough current to charge both additional battery and the telephone. I am using different charger and problem solved
Except for that the dock is quite fine, I use it a work and it's cool. But honestly I don't think the phone with a case will fit in it. Mine is pretty tight without any case.
Kind regards
I'm going to assume that none exist but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. A vertical charging dock wouldn't be very useful, since the whole point of docking the tablet for me would be movies.

There are plenty of cases, including the official Samsung keyboard case, that will act as a way to dock or stand the tablet up horizontally.
Okay, I should have been more specific. I would prefer one that has a charging port on the side (not the bottom) so you could attach it and charge it horizontally. It didn't occur to me that some of the docks could be placed horizontally, though, so I may just do something like this.

I've never had a problem using a mouse with an Android device before, but for some reason when I connect my Microsoft Arc mouse to my GS8+ the mouse cursor doesn't appear (although it does appear on my Moto X Play). I have a VR headset that is better for watching movies than my Gear VR (puts the phone further away from the lenses), but I need to have mouse control for easy use.
Have your tried using the USB adapter that came with the phone? I put the adapter for my Logitech trackball in it and the cursor came up immediately.
Keyboard works too...

I have the Bluetooth version of the Surface Arc Mouse and it works like a champ with my S8+.
Oops, sorry my response was dumb, obviously you can't use the adapter in a VR headset. ?
Did anybody find a solution to this?
Need something for my motorcycle.
I just hooked this up but it's not charging.
It's connected, but not charging.

Did you test it with another phone/device? I can only guess but i guess its not related to the P7Pro.
P7P prefers PD...
It also seems to require data pins to work - a cheap "shunt 5V into the port" 2 wire charger won't work apparently.
This one should work:
https://www.amazon.ca/Outlet-Charger-Waterproof-Adapter-Motorcycle/dp/B09D34DTTZ
These only works on very simple devices. Like a flashlight, or a radio
Thanks, guys.
One of the two leads will charge it.
Not sure why the other one doesn't.
So, I swapped the leads.
The other lead is charging a low-power GPS device.
I'm going to check the device that kodabmx posted.
I missed it in my previous shopping search!
