Aha, nice. I can always appreciate a list that aims to keep names/dates updated and not just write 'em down once expecting that to be good forever.
Tiny Suggestion: maybe within the list of ROM's you could also subdivide them even more (like Sense vs AOSP or GB vs ICS)

I really don't want to sound ungrateful--in fact, I have thanked you on the post already--but...:
1) You should say somewhere taht the ROM list is definitely not complete...at a glance, the very popular MIUI (GB-based, not ICS-based) is missing, for one.
2) Can you please subdivide those ROMs? Some ideas: Sense vs. Non-Sense, GB vs ICS....
3) Um, there's already the pinned reference thread that's being regularly updated (last update = 6 days ago). It doesn't list ALL the ROMs like you do, but still..... Perhaps you guys should collaborate or something.

There are a few people still using GB ROMS...ARHD and CoreDroid both have GB ROMS, not sure why you dont have those listed in your GB section?

UltiMiuIcs is ICS-based, not GB. Yes, it says 2.4.x, but that's their weird versioning system x.y.z, where x = the last digit of the year (2), y = the month (4), z = the date. For example, 2.4.13 was released on April 13, 2012.
There ARE 2 GB-based MIUI ROMs, and both are missing from your list:

EDIT: actually, you DO have that MIUI.us version on your list...but it's under ICS AOSP! So they need to be switched!

I have decied to post this to deal only with roms so they will be in order. I got tired to seeing roms all over the place and not in order making it harder to find. So I said to myself why not make a roms thread for the HTC EVO 4g and update it when new roms come out. Okay since I'm new at sense roms and stuff came people tell me what android version is Sense 1.0, Sense 3.0, Sense 3.5 is then I'll update my gingerbread roms list. Thank You
Sense 1.0 is the basic sense Its simple fast and doesnt stress an evo too much. But the eye candy is minumum

Sense 3.0 was from the EVO 3D roms lots more eye candy but with an equivalent decrease in performance (devs have done wonders with it but still its still bloated and slower on our single core evos)

If you want it to be simpler, categorize by GB version and Sense verison.

Ah okay thanks. Sorry I'm use to GB, Froyo, ICS roms. I just got into Sense and Non-Sense roms with different versions and stuff. What is sense 2.1? So I should make it simpler by changing it like you said?

1. Very few people have PMed me like I asked at the top of the OP. Instead, most people are posting in the thread, requiring me to check the thread often. This was okay for awhile, but onto #2. That is why I am posting this note in this thread, since clearly, people are reading the posts but not the OP. (Which I do find rather odd for an index thread...)
2. I have some major upcoming events in real life, so with those in addition to #1, I no longer have the time to maintain the thread. To anyone watching this thread, this fact is obvious; the thread hasn't been updated as often lately.
3. I don't use and haven't used a DHD or an I4G in over a year. I've been maintaining this thread since then, but it's probably time to give it to someone else.
As a result, if you are interested in maintaining the thread, post in the thread. If no one objects to your taking over, I'll PM you the markup "source," and we can have the mods un-sticky this one and sticky yours. We went through the same procedure when the thread went from inspiredbyhtc to me. If someone does object, we can talk about it. I'd prefer to hand the thread off to someone who's pretty well established and isn't going to cut and run.
If no one is interested, I will leave the thread as is, but I probably will update it very rarely.
This is a stripped-down version of inspiredbyhtc's hard work.
PM me if stuff is wrong or missing.

inspiredbyhtc is getting a Galaxy Note 2 and doesn't have the time to maintain this one, so he asked the Ace Think Tank thread to take over this thread. I'm asking a mod to sticky this one and un-sticky the other.
So yes, I did in fact copy and paste the first post from the sticky. Or actually, from the "source" (including URL tags and such) that inspiredbyhtc PMed me and GuyInTheCorner.
Thanks for taking the time to maintain this, I will still have my DHD to play with so I will be using this list once in a while now that it will my second/dev/playing device.

Download some of the ROMS and try them for yourself - then decide.

[Android 4.0.4] is not JB, so Desire S has NO ROMs with Sense 4.x and Android 4.1
