I wanna flash cm7.1 into my Nexus s(i9023).Someone says I should flash “ClockworkMod Recovery” first then CM7.1.
I did not get it but CWM4.0.1.5.
It works, and got success to flash CM7.1
Is there will be some bad effect on my cellphone soon?
CWM = ClockWorkMod recovery.
There is a newer version of CWM available but it doesn't matter which one you used, if the operation was succesful. CWM 4 works just as well as CWM 3 and CWM 5 to update ROMs, don't worry and enjoy!
Here's the CWM changelog if you want to know what's going on:

As always, I am not responsible for what you choose to do with your own personal device, period.
If you went and unrooted you're phone you would have to re-root it to have custom recovery like CWM.
After that, be sure you wipe system data and cache and dalvick cache 3x each and re-download a custom ROM that already has super user in it or you will have root but apps can't access it unless you flash super user zip after ROM install or ROM already has it.
Try cyanogen mod if it is available for your device (CM7 best option for most stable ROM that is easier in newbs)

A while ago i rooted my phone and put a custom rom on it, liked it the got sick of it then flashed back to stock . a day or two later i instantly regretted this decision so i reverted back. This was a very drawn out process because my phone was being dumb etc, i initially tried to flash TWRP on it which worked , but it never flashed roms correctly for me , so i flashed CWM on it and that worked. flashed a rom , and it worked. I now want to flash a new rom but when i boot to recovery , TWRP is still there but when i am in Rom manager, it says CWM 6.0.3.1 is installed.
Is there a way to use odin to flash this back to stock and just flash CWM on the so i can get on with my life and flash new roms?
TL;DR
there are 2 recoveries (TWRP and CWM)
TWRP is accessible but doesn't work
need access to CWM
is there odin or a type of software i can use to solve this ?
I know i ****ed up pretty good, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Download GooManager from the Playstore. Then from GooManager run OpenRecoveryScript which will flash the latest TWRP.

I'm pretty sure that GooManager will install only TWRP. I would start there to fix your problem, since GooManager will install the recovery easily. Once you have TWRP you can switch by installing CWM if you'd like. For that, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305721
1 - i apologies in edvense for my multi post, i cant post in the relevant tread until i have 10 posts
2 - and for my poor English and horrendous spelling errors
i have a p500h (OldBB)
using "arnab321-Tasssadar-MultiROMMgr-v5.1" i dual boot
wen the story start i have CWM Recovery v5.0.2.0 CM10.2 on internal and CM7.2 on sd-ext
first i flashed mukulsoni`s flashable CWM Recovery v6.0.4.6
booted to CM10.2, works fine
booted to CM7.2, works too :laugh:
No, this recovery for KitKat only, as you must be aware that KitKat ROM flash on "Set_Metadata_Recursive" and all previous JB and others were using SET_PERM_RECURSIVE.
The update can take backup and restoration of sdext, which was disabled in previous one. Enjoy....

same as flashing latest cwm recovery
then tried rom manager still the same

Must make sure you have root. If your root is messed up you may not be able to install a custom recovery.
