LeeDroid ROM and wi-fi issue

Hi there,
I followed the instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842802 and managed to put the custom ROM.
However, I cannot use Wireless anymore. It get connected but simply doesn't load anything.
I cannot use Internet pass-through anymore as well.
Everything else seems fine.
About info:
Android version: 2.2
Baseband: 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_;
Kernel: 2.6.32-LeeDroid...
Build number: 1.37.921.1 CL277230 release-keys
Software number: 1.37.921.1
Could anyone advise me how to proceed now?
UPDATE:
In the meantime I did the recovery, went back to the original settings. Wi-Fi and Internet pass-through worked perfrectly.
I started the process again.
This time I falshed the Radio before I flashed the ROM and now I'm on:
Baseband: 12.28b.60.140fU_26.04.02.17_M2;
Wi-fi and Internet-pass worked fine with old ROM and new Radio.
I did the Kernel flash, but the problem with wireless remained.
Any ideas, please?
I'm quite desperate now. I like the ROM (e.g. camera works perfectly) but not having Wi-Fi...

It's odd, I've followed the same procedure and haven't had any problems.
When you're connected can you try looking in Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wifi Settings -
Click on your router and you'll confirm if you're connected, chanel, strength, speed, etc. Useful stats.
Click on Menu > Advanced
Here you can see your IP address confirm it's received an address from your router, plus you can change wifi performance, increasing more power (just to test)
Sorry can't think of anything else to check. Like me I'm sure there are lots of users with this ROM who've flashed the same radio, ROM and kernal, and it's working fine. Did you check the 'checksums' of the files you flashed to double check they're correct?
Try posting on Lee's pages in the Development forum, perhaps he can give you better advice.

Cant activate Wifi

i have a problem with my Wifi.
if i wanna activate my wifi it calls "Wifi activating..." and nothing happens on ICS cant network scan to nothing happens

on Gingerbread i get a blackscreen - (cant do anything, just power button and Soundcontrol work. After deactivating keylock i come to the black screen. Icons get shown on top of the bar) -on configuration after clicking the connection Mobile/Wifi option.

but no success -.- cant activate after a short time its off and calls Failure

Reflash latest radio new 3.24 firmware and insercoin 4.5 in that order, if still no wifi and you gave tested on more than one router its hardware

dont want it to send back to htc without any hardware defect.

Which country is your SIM card from?

Mine is from Poland (Europe) and it won't work too on my sensation.

i got t-mobile germany before rooting.
my sim-card is german (Aldi-Talk)
i get the wifi problems without any sim-card too cant activate-.-

I have installed some roms and it stopped to work. I remember that earlier I had problem which was my wifi was still turning on and off and again on and off and it won't work but one day it started to work. After few weeks I can't even turn it on . I have tried a lot of ROMs, kernels , WiFix, coming back to 2.3.3 , Revolutionary S-OFF tool but it says that I have correctly done S-OFF . I thought about flashing boot.img but the black window (cmd) after clicking fastboot.exe is instantaneously closing and I cant do anything . Any help ? Maybe its hardware problem ? Fried eMMC chip ? When i try to turn on wifi it says error on gb and on ics its still showing "turning on wifi network" ....

no solution for me-.- i reinstalled the ROM and now it accepts the SIM. but WLAN still no activating

btw to your fastboot.exe.
you need to connect about the cmd with commands, just clicking fastboot.exe is wrong.

[4.0.4] [ICS] wifi problem

Hi guys could someone help me out, everytime i flash a ICS rom the wifi doesnt work it shows "Turning on wifi" and it stays like that and then when i press the back button and re-enter the wifi menu the wifi is turned on but no scanning,nothing.... i tried cm7 roms and the wifi works fine but i prefer ics roms.
i tried everything but its still not working please help

There's a bug in the rom, perhaps let the dev know (If he already dosen't know) Or flash a previous version of this rom and see if wifi works then

Im using hephappy's tinystream, but u know ive tested many ics roms, including AOKP; but the wifi still isn't working....

I have the same problem. Tried various ROMs from various people (CM [arjen, hehappy], MIUI, AOKP), also various kernels... no results.

Although the problem still exists, but now, at least I know that there are some other persons on the planet who suffer just like me! It also indicates that it is a systematic problem and there may be a solution. We have to keep trying.

I dont have any problems on wifi. I dont use wifi much since I rely on data connection. But phone/ROM scans and displays network without any problems.
Currently Im using AOKP milestone build #6 and its stable apart from some minor bugs.
See if you can use wifi tethering....

I also have exact same problem - NO WIFI on Android 4.x.x. Problem is related to SIM card and Baseband issue. If you flash ROM with no SIM card, wifi works! If you install SIM card wifi no longer works.
First discovered this when I upgraded from Froyo to LG 2.3.3 and the wireless would not work then, and I had to change network selection from Automatic, and select my service provider manually to get WiFi to work. I think the problem with 4.x.x is similar, but it gives an error trying to manually select the service provider, so wifi does not work.
I have 20G baseband (latest I think).
Does anyone else have error when selecting service provider manually?
CyanogenMod-7 nightly builds wifi works perfectly. Just fails with any 4.x.x versions.

[Q] Wifi error with samsung galaxy S cl (gt-i9003)

Well i have searched many forums for solution of this problem. eventually i came to know that problems with wifi can be different in for different mobiles even if they are of same model.My problem is that when i try to turn on WIFI it shows error. I went into the advanced settings for wifi and MAC address was missing in there. I tried *#*#526#*#* code because in some forums they have told that it fixed their problem but didnot work for me. Detailed information is below.
The details for my mobile are as follows:

the problem started after i got my phone rooted by one of my friend in order to unlock it.At first i was really happy because when i inserted the sim it recognized it i gave a call to my friend also.But soon one of my friend informed me that when ever he calls me the number is busy toned.I tried it then the problem was that the mobile wont ring and disconnect the phone on the first ring itself.then it was like if there was only problems with it.The home button was also not working. The icon for play store was also missing.And the main problem of all was that wifi wont turn on.
I took it to my friend he fixed every thing else i.e home button ,call problem, and now i can go into play store also.which reminds me that data network and blue tooth are working fine.do any body have a solution that might fix the problem. I have no idea what package did my friend use to rooted the device.
Android Device with out wifi is not that interesting to use

I used to got this problem when i root my phone. I'm curious, who did your friend root it? Try ask him. This WiFi problem can be solved by using Bam Custom Kernel or flash a custom ROM. Bam Custom Kernel, link

Flash cf-root. worked for me.
Flash in odin .put cf-root file in PDA. Now put ur phone in downloading mode and flash it.
