Missing Native SIP Settings (Gingerbread) - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hi all, I have just updated my SL to 2.3.5 Gingerbread via the official update. I am trying to look for the native SIP settings but cannot be found under Setting --> Call Settings. Did Samsung remove this?.
Thanks.

[INFO] Gmail 2.3.4 Update & Crashes

Hi folks,
We're aware that the updated Gmail app which came out yesterday in Market (version 2.3.4) is crashing for some users. There is a bug that only affects users who installed Gmail 2.3.4 over Gmail 2.2. In other words, if you had Gmail 2.3 or Gmail 2.3.2 installed prior to updating yesterday to 2.3.4, you aren't affected.
As a workaround for those who might be stuck with this crashing version of Gmail, we recommend uninstalling the update ( < Home > >Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Gmail > Uninstall updates).
We've removed Gmail from Market for the time being, and we're working as fast as we can to patch the app.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may be causing.
Regards,
Ethan

Thanks for the prompt heads up and the link! I was beginning to get worried since I uninstalled the update and the market reference was nowhere to be found to re-update. Seems the new version should be back soon. Thanks again!
awesome thanks for the info d00d

[Q] Bluetooth tethering w/o root between android phones

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to develop an Android application in order to enable bluetooth tethering between two android phones without the need of root permissions.
I found in the market PdaNet as example..
How is it possible to create such an application?
Are there some API already present?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I'm not really sure that there's an API for that, but based on the much discussion about bluetooth tethering between two android devices, I suppose the answer is no.
if you get to a beta test fase (even alpha), count me in.
I have:
- Samsung Galaxy TAB 7.0 plus (GT-P6210) with original 3.2 kernel;
- LG Optimus One (P500H) with official 2.3.3 version.
both are rooted, by the way.

[Q] FieldTest.apk on ICS

Hello.
On Gingerbread rom I had system app - FieldTest.apk, on which I can check cellular network parameters. Unfortunately on ICS there is no this app. Is any way to get this app on ICS? Maybe someone can share me this app from Gingerbread rom? I remember my old Nokia with low-system app FieldTest, on which I can even switch gsm channel, too bad this is not availble on android.
Please refer to this thread you may find more useful info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594187
FieldTest.apk is HTC related app, and it's not avaible by code. It need apk in system apps.
Download the file your looking for here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25335369&postcount=103 and use this code dial in your phone *#*#7262626#*#* it will launch the Fieldtest. I tried and works for me.
Thanks, it's working!
