Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to change the uid or serial associated with a android device. I know there is uid changers for apple products. I have searched and search and come up blank trying to find a app or way to change the unique id associated with a device tied to a app and such. Any help would be appreciated Thanks. Im on a rooted xoom with tiamat morey.

is their a way to make the android market think my device is a tablet or on 3.0+ if so how?
I dont think so, but im not 100% on that. However if you edit your device name, maybe that will trick it
how do i edit my device name?
Let's say an online game requires a hardware check of your device to be uploaded into a database. I'm guessing they don't want you obtaining multiple copies of daily gifts or something.
However, this means I'm unable to wipe everything and start a new game since my progress follows my particular device. Since I'm not going to buy a new phone just for a game, I'm wondering if it's possible to fool the hardware check.
Since the scheme is obviously unknown, what do you guys think are the most likely specifications they took a snapshot of? IMEI? MAC? Is it even possible to spoof IMEI? (not asking to change it, just to make it appear different to the app)
The app itself doesn't require specific permissions, just the Phone ID and internet access.
I have a game that locks its save file to your android device ID. This is fine and good until you factory reset your phone or install a ROM and your hard work it lost due to the ID change.
Now, I am aware you can change your ID. But I would like a little clarification first..
If I use GTalk on my dialer I get say this ID: (*#*#8255#*#*)
200*********** etc..
But is a use an app I grabbed from the play store called Change Android ID *Root I get a completely different result.. So are they both reporting different ID's or is one wrong?
Also, what harm can be done changing your ID and is it safe to post your ID on say a forum?
Thank you for any help given.
Does anybody know how to change the MAC address on an M8 running 5.0? I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
I'm trying to change my phone's MAC address so that I can spoof a "Nintendo Zone" hotspot and get some of the freebie-goodies for my 3DS from home. The process is pretty straight forward (Make a hotspot, name it "attwifi", change the MAC to something Nintendo uses, get goodies.), but I'm having trouble getting the MAC address changed. Most tutorials have you use a terminal emulator with busybox to change it via command, or a hex editor to change the MAC address in a specific file, but I've not had any luck with either approach. Even the apps on the Play Store seem to fail. My guess is that it has something to do with Lollipop likely changing how MAC addresses are stored and used.
I've tried just about everything I could find, and am running out of ideas as well as ways to phrase the question to google to try looking this up myself. If anybody could tell me how to do this, or give me some pointers, that'd be great.
Also, in case it needs to be said: I am rooted, and unlocked with busybox installed.
Wow. I have the exact same issue. I also have a M8 running ViperOne with Android 5.0.1
Tried every app from the play store. Most say the MAC Address has been changed but that doesn't appear to be the case.
I want to connect to the Router at my workplace. I took the MAC address from the laptop that can connect to it and tried it in a few apps that can spoof it on my phone but none work.
I'd love some assistance with this as well.
Thanks in advance.
Perhaps now, 6 months later, there is a solution? anybody?
Hey guys,
so I lately had a bunch of issues with my Samsung and had to restore several backups etc after failed firmware updates.
Sometimes I lost a few apps, had to reinstall it, etc - it was a HUGE mess. I'm fairly certain at some point bumble downgraded me because I had so many reinstalls/reactivations/etc.
Here's the issue - I'm trying to create a new account and its easy to get around geo-location, IP and new phone-number and verification but I'm fairly certain they also track my device-ID or device-IDs if that changed with the backup/restores/reactivations.
I downloaded device-ID-changer and all the apps show up, ASIDE bumble... I'm wondering if I screwed up something like the registry (if android has something like this) with all the re-installs... the app opens, works, all good, but I can't sign up on this device because of the ID.
I'm on Pie so every app has a separate ID but Device ID changer cant find app.bumble.com.
I can sign up just fine from my tablet (on Nougat) - set geo-location/proxy/verification, easy - works every time, but as soon as I log in on phone I'm getting kicked off.
Where could the issue be? Why can't Device ID changer not find the app? Is there a way to find out if something went wrong with the install? I HIGHLY doubt they hardcoded all my device IPs in the installer (tried offline installs as well, so 0 change they send data down)
Could someone check if Device ID Changer 2019 can find com.bumble.app in the list on their phone?
thanks
