so I lately had a bunch of issues with my Samsung and had to restore several backups etc after failed firmware updates.
Sometimes I lost a few apps, had to reinstall it, etc - it was a HUGE mess. I'm fairly certain at some point bumble downgraded me because I had so many reinstalls/reactivations/etc.
Here's the issue - I'm trying to create a new account and its easy to get around geo-location, IP and new phone-number and verification but I'm fairly certain they also track my device-ID or device-IDs if that changed with the backup/restores/reactivations.
I downloaded device-ID-changer and all the apps show up, ASIDE bumble... I'm wondering if I screwed up something like the registry (if android has something like this) with all the re-installs... the app opens, works, all good, but I can't sign up on this device because of the ID.
I'm on Pie so every app has a separate ID but Device ID changer cant find app.bumble.com.
I can sign up just fine from my tablet (on Nougat) - set geo-location/proxy/verification, easy - works every time, but as soon as I log in on phone I'm getting kicked off.
Where could the issue be? Why can't Device ID changer not find the app? Is there a way to find out if something went wrong with the install? I HIGHLY doubt they hardcoded all my device IPs in the installer (tried offline installs as well, so 0 change they send data down)
Could someone check if Device ID Changer 2019 can find com.bumble.app in the list on their phone?

I fired up Titanium last night to restore an app I'd frozen. As I opened the app, it came up with a popup that said something about my Android account being registered to a different device. It gave me the option of keeping my current ID or switching to the previous one (which it recommended). I followed the recommendation and it did what it needed to do.
All seemed OK until this morning and I realised that I can now no longer open any of my paid for apps or games. I just get some kind of pop up saying "You are not authorised to use this app on this Android device."
I've had a quick look through the settings but there are so many, I don't know what to do.
Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about and, if so, how I can just revert to how it was before?

Sorry, I should point out, it wasn't my Gmail account that it recommended a change.. but some long number.. I assume some kind of UDID type thing

Try going to menu and select manage android ID and choose create a new random ID.Hopefully it should work.

Every andrid phone has a android ID and
after you flash a new custom ROM your android ID changes and many applications use Android ID too like Google Music
TB provides an option to keep your android id...
This is the issue - it asked if I'd like to change it back to the old one or keep the new one. It recommended going back to the old one. I did so, and now the apps don't work. So how do I revert to how it was?
I believe nothing is secure in my phone including passwords, security pin and even what i'm typing now. Recently, my facebook acct got hacked too.I think my phone is being keylogged. So, I did the following things:
1.First of all, I resetted mydevice
2. Then, I even changed the rom
But, still I feel insecure. I want to know is there any way that the keylogging is kernel masked? Do I need to update the kernel? I need to know about the things I should do to make sure that my phone is completely keylogger free. Please help!

Im no expert in this subject, but what I would do is Flash a new Rom and kernel, then Monitor packets send and recieved by the phone with an app, or with a router. The rooting method also matters. So, Flash the original OEM Software first. Rooting methods that harvest IMEIs have been reported. So, dont go with the "one clickers" to root your device method, but do it the Long way.
I am curretly also using a Firewall in my phone and also my Connection goes through a router with a Firewall.
Normally, I never enter sensitive data when in a dangerous enviroment, such as an unprotected Caffe WiFi.
If you are concerned about a keylogger, then you should be more concerned on how you got your device infected.
I usually refrain from using the Google Appstore. I mostly use Open Source programs/apps that can be compiled or tested
You should look into Fdroid, which Hosts open source apps, not many, but there are some.

My phone is over heating too. So I installed network log from play store and watched the log. I found my phone sending and receiving packets through kernel.
I have uploaded the screenshots with this. Please have a look and tell me is this normal or if it isn't, what to do?.
Also, before unlocking the lock screen shows some messages as in the screenshot. But, after unlocking there is no such messages exist.
Please help.

I'm not sure about the message in your lockscreen but the IP's in your kernel log seem to be corresponding with these domains:
Host 24.9.193.104.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
Host 233.127.230.115.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
Host 54.213.160.61.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
Host 108.213.160.61.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
233.24.249.123.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer error-cdnzz-com.cdnzz.net.
188.200.125.74.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer sa-in-f188.1e100.net.
As you can see, the first 4 are unresolved, hence there is no domain linked to the IP.
The last 2 do have a domain linked, but I'm have no idea if they are used for malicious stuff.
But like shadowcore said, shouldn't you be more concerned about where you got this infection from?
After resetting and reinstalling a new rom, there are little places left for a logger/malicous-app to have been hiding.
What you could do is install OSMonitor. This is yet another logging app, but it provides you with a list of all the current running processes and connections, with the option to watch it, or kill it. Maybe you can use this to filter out any loggers still on running your device. You can find it on the Play Store.
You can also restrict networktraffic with AFWall+, which is a firewall app. It takes some time to configure, but it does wonders.

You should probably install afwall+ to restrict internet access to some apps.

I have come to suffer a lot in controlling some apps permissions using the awesome XPRIVACY. .
So I thought of starting this post so we can help each other out ..
_ Prior to XPRIVACY 3.6.5 I was able to control.almost anything .. now for example I just can't control permissions for some apps .. ie; Mobogenie.com
It still reads my media even though I got them blocked ..
Still is able to read my location ..
So I started this thread so we all share " out of experience " how to get the best out of XPRIVACY ..

I've searched for similar Posts & found nothing .. I hope that I hadn't over looked similar Posts.

I never get the part why people installing apps they don't trust and try to block stuff with external apps. If you're unsure just test it on emulators like the SDK integrated emulator, bluebox or others and see what the app does.
And no, XPrivacy can't block all stuff. So I highly recommend just no install apps if you're unsure or test it as mentioned in a emulator. As much as I love XPrivacy but it's much over hyped and overrated, some brain and you not need this app and also not if you rom does already supports the Privacy Guard stuff (mostly on CM based ROMS).
.... and I'll never understand why some people Wana clone themselves into people & condemn anything that is not their own preference ...
Xprivacy is a breakthrough .. and it is android as far as I am concerned until someone brings to life a ROM that respects people's right to privacy .. feel free to differ ,CHEF-KOCH , but please do not impose .. thank you

Sometimes you don't have a choice. May be all your friends are using a particular messaging service, or perhaps the app is critical or at least too useful for your job to give up.
Just don't let other people controlling you - you always have a choice. If all people saying jump from a bridge, will you do it too?
Just tell your friends you take care of your privacy data and ask them to install an similar and possible more secure alternative. If you really need services which doesn't respect your privacy, tell us how a tool like XPrivacy can block all this? If you block all connections you will never be able to use there services. And some stuff can't be faked since this will break the functions. So I see no argument at all.
Who said anything about " breaking connection " .. ?!! mind you that we all know about this new thing called " internet" & we do use it .. " who would've thought ..!!! " & breaking connection means that no creature called "NET" will ever exist on our devices
And where did you find us " users of X privacy & auther /developer " saying that Xprivacy protects everything against everything ..

Xprivacy is about the main reason I still use my android device with internet.
I'm not as paranoid at I should be but this is how I use x privacy.
It's around 90% successful to start out.(which means 90% I don't just boot loop from the start)
Shave head to avoid pulling hair out
Remove Sim card try to find someplace WiFi inaccessible.
Fresh install of a ROM with as many apks I don't use as possible.
(Apks are removed from the zip file before I flash the ROM)
Install xposed (I never make it a system app by putting it in the zip because that can cause update issues)
Install x privacy, set expert mode on, set all the expert features on, randomize everything are boot.
Reboot into recovery, backup everything
Reboot into device
start x privacy.
Edit template to block every last little thing. except inet.
Apply template to everything except android system, Phone, and system ui. (You can turn those ones off before you apply template).
Reboot device and hope for the best.
If it boots, let it settle and watch for errors.
After a while (your choice on how long) boot into recovery and do another full backup.
Start x privacy edit template to block everything
Manually change 1/4 of system apps to block inet.
Reboot and check for errors, if good do a recovery back up,
If bad restore your backup and change less "inet" restrictions.
repeat until everything is blocked for Inet you can block.
(This can) take hours.
Export your settings from time to time.
Next systematically block the various restrictions on phone, android system and system ui until they are tight as you can make them.
Install newest AFwall + and use while list mode to block everything (after setting it up in xprivacy of course)
Install network log to check network.
Use the "usage data" to give the minimum permissions required to use the system apps you need to use.
(Back up in recovery and export settings often as there is nothing worse than boot looping your device after an hours of work)
All new installed apps should be completely restricted at install., and you have to remove the restrictions one at a time to get them working with minimal access

Boot loops are just too hard to track down with a large import
I have found some apps have no restrictions for a few seconds right after install. So I never install anything with internet connected and I always wipe the apps data and cache after I have it set up in x privacy and before I use the internet.
One day I will build x privacy from source so it can block the android system identification section. That is disabled by default now. with all the apps that factory ROMs and even aosp ROMs dump into uid 1000 it's just to open for me to love.

My mobile is hacked. Someone is remotely accessing my mobile and making changes as per his will, hacker is able to access my device without mobile data/internet enabled.
I have observed following things -
- Hacker can track my keystrocks/screen touch
- He can access my whatsapp messages
- He is able to reply to my whatapp messages
- He is able to make folders in my mobile
- He is able to restart mobile
- He is able to enable/diable mobile data
- He can access my sms and can send me customized sms.
- He is able to do all above things without mobile data enabled
I am not sure whats going on with my mobile, is this some king of virus/malware which is allowing hacker to control my device ?
I have tried installing various antivirus.
I have tried factory reset / installing official firmware using odin but still hacker is able to control my device remotely.
Kindly advice me on how to fix this problem.

are you sure its a hacker? as mobile apps can do all that if you give them permission. why are you sure its a hacker? why would someone hack you?

have you tried a full wipe and installing a.cistom rom?

This is not funny but funny as I'm dealing with the same thing, I believe it comes down to WiFi hack, or through tags or nfc or whatever I've done the same thing resetting, rooting, removing some files ex, I've revoked, froze ect.... not sure what do to my self. It have noticed when I hard reset and it unmounts a file. Still learning code so not tip top on what it says. If I can get maybe a list of exploits it would at least give me a place to start. I'm on an s7 Sept patch bone stock apps I have Google chrome,messages, phone,contacts.
You could write a book on what you possible need to do, depending on how your system was compromised.
As you can see them replying to your messages I'd bet it's one of your mates that has done something! Having access to your phone would make hacking it easier eg start with a remote control apps and then gain more access later.
I'm no expert but I think you did the right thing reinstalling your rom, but if it's coming back then they must be able to reinstall malware as they have your wifi password, network password, or it's on your sd card or a bad app that you have reinstalled and can gain root or something.
You need to change ALL your passwords that may enable access to your network or phone, incl work etc. ALSO update/reinstall or factory reset any modem/router/network firmware/pc you can as they may have opened some backdoor. But only have one thing on at a time as you fix it, else one might just compromise your network again. Make sure things like tv, printers etc have secure wifi settings (change ALL default passwords to your own strong ones)
Once all have been restored/factory reset with new passwords then you can turn them on again. (I would leave sd cards out and don't install all your apps yet, add them one at a time and only from Play store) also change passwords for all apps as they may still be able to gain access to them & check things like two factor authentication is set to use phone numbers you have set, not theirs.
I have to go now, though there are more possibilities, I've probably missed some things too, but hope I have given you some ideas. Good luck
Thank you in advance. First of all I am still a beginner in knowledge here. My Alcatel fierce 4 TCL 5056N seems to have been hacked and is now being remotely accessed and controlled by an unauthorized 3rd party. I may be way off base but I think my phone may have been exposed to a R.A.T.. Temporarily rooted long enough for someone to modify the kernel and other system coding, which I cannot access myself with an unrooted phone, installing some sort of sub-OS with limited user setting options and a completely different named storage platform,( I.e. emulated, bdef55, self), and not even factory resetting my device helps because it reboots into the sub-OS they installed. They are screen overlaying buttons, and toggles are being reversed in real time before my eyes, settings and options are disappearing from one minute to the next and I've somehow found myself poking around in some windows software on a PC that is used to develop Android software, maybe sdk, not sure but was Linux coding and looked like it was meant for me. I was on the other end of this hack for a few minutes tho but my lack of knowledge made this useless to me. I have downloaded many an app trying to combat this issue but to no avail. Although unsuccessful I have seen a few thing I don't understand but could possibly be helpful for you to identify exactly what my issue is. One thing is an app I downloaded said that a trust cert has enabled a malicious trust agent and my system is being remotely accessed by a third party. The rest is beyond my understanding but I'm going to list a few tidbits you may recognize. LIB, Kinguser, kingroot, persist, unremovable/???/xxx, code Aurora, bootstrap something, libnfc, system/framework/Apache/xml, bin, user value=0 or 1/2, managed provisioning, also a .base ext. on a bunch of sytem apps below the same app without and a few of others. I don't know if that's helpful but it's all I can remember. Symptoms are apps closing on their own, microphone and camera being remotely enabled, unable to update Google play services or store and being forced to use an obviously older and modified version with possible replica apps with restrictions, unexpected reboots, in settings/apps/permissions apps like gallery, when you click battery and then the little i button for info, it says it's a system app and all of the sudden the disable and force close buttons become un-highlighted and unusable and so on and so forth. Lastly, my home wifi is infected I think as well because my roommate is having the same issues. I've tried(unsuccessfully) to root my phone so I could manually remove some of these apps and extra coding and such but it seems impossible because of a locked bootloader. Tried about 10 different ways without success so I've just about given up and smashed the damn thing but then you geniuses popped into my head so I beg of you, please help me or if nothing else, tell me to proceed with the smashing...lol!
