is there any kernel that has the 3d fix that only runs at 1.2 ? i have issues runnign 1.5 so i tihnk stok is best, especially 4 battery
You can underclock most custom kernels to run at 1.2. If you are running a custom Rom that is overclocked, usually the Dev posts how to get it down to stock. ARHD 3.6.1 is a good example.

Hi, Looking for A stock but improved experience.
Stock 2.3.4 ARA rom for RTL support (If there is a stock ARA rom with RTL and beats would be better)
Allmost stock kernel, only with CPU Freq changed to 1.5
Is that too much to ask? or can someone point me to the right direction?
Hat would be android revolution rom. But yeh I recomend cm7 ha

Sorry guys, I think i've miss lead you.
When I wrote stock I ment HTC stock as "rooted RUU" not stock as android stock.
I want a regular htc experience without any changes exept kernel CPU Freq changed to 1.5 ghz and Right To Left support as in the ARAB RUU's.
Sorry to bump, but still, anybody?
I would flash a custom rom, arhd keeps close to stock sense, but with lots of performance and battery tweaks.
If you are rooted on stock, you will need to find a kernel that will allow you to overclock. From what you are asking, try this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216197
So after flashing 3.32 firmware my phone seems to be running fine. No bootloop no hang, but after i install a custom rom, when I hit the power button to lock the device it freezes. It wont come back on and I have to do a battery pull to get it working again. I have tried this on Virtuous rom, Vorbeths AOSP ICS rom, Mikes stock rom from the Sensation, as well as Hypersensation sensless rom. Is it due to the fact that my phone doesnt go well with this firmware? What should I do?
There might be a problem with the kernel cpu settings, perhaps too under volted or too slow clock during screen off.
Try mike's ARHD with Stock Kernel after superwipe.

Will try that. Ive been on stock gb and I don't like it
I want to run a AOSP rom to be truly stock can anyone recommend a kernel to fix this problem?
Bricked 3.0 and SebastianFM are both very good, check speed in SetCPU or Android Overclock or similar.
Best AOSP ROM depends on what you like, but IMO it's gotta be OpenSensation CM9.
It's weird how I was running the March release of open sensation and then when I upgraded to the aprik release it stopped working for me

"sweeptoweake" simply does not decrease or increase the battery life, but is quite comfortable to wake up the screen. Of course you'll want ZRAM, this is just to prevent the SENSE restarts. In my case I use the 3D and 2D options to best. And all that is left by default. But the battery life will depend much of the ROM you use and what type of user you are ... good luck!
Well the kernel I have listed is that a good one for batt life.

i disabled the zRam option, dunno why, using zram slightly drains my battery more. the rest is just fine with your setting
I seem to get better battery life on bricked rather than faux. Give both a try and see what you think.. which Rom are you running? Viper has given me excellent battery life with bricked. Hope this helps.

@realsis- crap, didnt mean to but enjoy the free thanks!
Ive found that Bricked kernel is better for battery life and everyday use, while Faux kernel is great for gaming
I'm running 6.6.7 x.e. 4G with beats audio.the bricked kernel that I have listed above a good one for my Rom?

Yes its a good one.
Please note.that 1.36beta is out as well with some wifi fixes and other nice changes in frequency/2nd cpu management.
Might be worth a shot as well.

That is completely different from one user to another. It really depends on what appa you use, how often, how much wifi/3g/4g you use and their signal strength etc etc...
Usually badass works great, and it is more juice friendly than ondemand.
OC the gpu is usually draining some.
But again, it's very peraonal.
Please keep in mind to run a few cycles on whatever configuration you try. A day is usually not enough and no two days are the same

Hi make sure the bricked kernel you downloaded SAYS its for ICS ok then you should not have any problems. Hope this helps you. I'm running bricked and have zero problems with WiFi working. Don't give up just find the correct ICS bricked kernel. It will say in the description of the kernel ok. Best wishes

The problem is you are S-ON, so kernels wont flash properly.
Either you need to S-OFF or you need to repacked the zImage file into an existing boot.img file (dsixda kitchen and cygwin needed) then use the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Personally I would go with S-OFF, its so much easier and less faffing about than the other way
What do you think? What's the best choice?
Thanks for all answers.
EDIT:
No sense rom plz ;p
hi i 've try the miui last version(official kernel), paranoidandroid v20 (official kernel) and the vipers 1.4.1 (sebastian kernel), and the winner is ......
:good::good::good: VIPER ROM !!!!!!!
U could use kernel tuner to change ur governor to a more battery saving setting. Like conservative for example.
Heres the link if u dont have it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719934

+1 on Paranoid v.20
Seems like a pretty good ROM - better experience than bruce's november-builds.
I wonder if v.21 is worth the update. No issues so far, just slow until I changed the governor from ondemand to badass.
*edit*
Actually, turns out v.20 was still painfully slow after running a few apps. Just upgraded to v.21 - it has been running perfectly so far.
