Hiphone Iphone clone

Has anyone on this forum got or seen anything about this Hiphone.
It's suppost to be the closest clone of an iphone yet and was wondering of you xda-devs have came across one in the flesh so to speak.....

This thing has so much potential!

I wonder if the developers here might help us find out the mysterys of this phone and crack it open for development the phone is excelent but the firmware is limited and undeveloped it has alot of potential to surpass the iphone with just about anything the developer wants to add

The Americans have a big thing about lead used in products at the moment, im talking about trace amounts of lead that don't mean anything but they have blown it all out of proportion, so for example my nokia 6300 has a chromed 4 way navigation button, in the manual it says dont put it next to your skin for prolonged periods due to lead content.
it is basically scaremongering to get the US public to stop buying products imported from china

I know I was being facetious.
I am sure all phones have lead, especially on the boards and chips inside, it was a joke.

I may come across that way.
Although I have spent the majority of my life in the states, I have spent a significant amount of time in the UK.
I lived in Southampton for a job until I was made redundant the moved back and still travel there now on business.

I live in China and this kind of Chinglish is everywhere, I love it. There is a second-hand market near my apartment with a huge sign reading "Chicken-hawk Fun Market" with a picture of an old man holding a teenage boy's hand....it's almost like they do it on purpose

Why would someone do anything with this phone, don't promote it, there's about as much potential in this phone as the one pictured above.

LOL. I saw this on giz. I was ROFL'ing for like 5 minutes. And did you guys read about the dude who "accidentally" bought it? LOL

NO... We have more than 8 idiots. You have to include ALL THE APPLE STAFF who approved it in the first place. They probably only took it off when the 8 idiots complained and demanded their refund for the $1000 they spent.

This definitively looks like nice piece of software. I hope someone can develop such a useful and good looking application for our Windows Mobile devices. Otherwise, i might seriously reconsider buying an iPhone.
P.S.:
Congrats to developer of this original app. Nice way of earning few thousands $$ for few seconds of work. Way to go, good thinking!
And all this just proves that iPhone is just a toy for really rich people and true high-tech work of art only for idiots.

i am, though, disappointed that the 'deserv' was spelled "correctly." argh, oh well. it's well worth the $2,000.00 i donated for this little gem.

Well, I guess it is still in development so it has some minor issues. I'm sure that fullscreen and misspelling will be added as soon as possible. But this is promising start and we will soon be as sophisticated as iPhone users. I also think that many iPhone users will migrate to WM devices since this app is no longer available in Apple's App Store, so we can expect at least few tousands new xda users in next few days.

I think the number of confirmed idiots on the planet is more like the total number of people who bought an iPhone.

Not really a impartial forum to be asking which is better.
Really depends on what you need an prefer. I know a lot of people with iPhones that love them. To me it just and iPod with a terrible phone and a ridiculous level of control by Apple.

Neither go to the dark side for a positive change and get an Android device

if you plan to go for the iPhone platform, wait for the 4G model. Not that the 3G S would be crap - the 4G will still be much better.

After they're convinced everybody bought and paid for the Ip4G, then they'll bust out the Ip5, probably next summer, then everyone will have to shell out another $650 or more to be "in".
And yea, it just has new innovative never before implemented external antenna (and sue other phone manufacturers that produced phones in the past with an external antenna for patent infringement), maybe a better camera and a few "never before seen, new and innovative" apps that will only run on the 5. Ill bet on it.
I think were due for a Ipad-s right before the holidays.

Don't get me wrong, I like apple. I even have an iPod touch (Jailbroken though ). But apple really messed up with the iPhone 4. You would have though that they had tested it so much that they would have found the design flaw. But I do respect them for giving out banners, but come on apple. Saying that your problem is in many other phones is uncool.

a 4" screen, 4G (LTE) data connection and the ability to have 5 icons in a row. Sounds familiar? It took Apple 5 years and their best minds research to make an SGS 4G...

That's the thing about Apple. Their most current success is mostly due to marketing, and not their product. You can give Apple consumers a iPhone 4 (or whatever the previous version is), tell them it's an iPhone 5, and they'll believe you. Not only would they believe you, but they'll swear it's better and pay full price for it. Apple is genius, really, but not ethical or innovative.

Apple releases software updates for three-year-old phones and has yet to ship a phone with carrier-mandated apps. They were also the first to make a usable touch-based smartphone, without which Android would be nothing more than a BlackBerry clone (remember me?).
They're alright in my book.

Their updates are so minimal even a 3 year old phone can run them. That's a bad thing. Android updates make major changes. And not only that, many of the older iphones run stripped down versions of ios, like how the 3gs can't have siri.

the earpods took 3 years of r&d.
