[REQ] Blue honeycomb battery meter - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

I've been trying to get the blue honeycomb style battery meter on the status bar to replace the stock one.
I rooted using unrevoked and have not flashed any custom ROMs.
Is there a way to do this without flashing a different rom?
I tried using the kitchen site, but couldn't get it to work out. TIA

You need 7zip on your computer and you need to know how to swap images and create a flashable zip. The battery images are found in system/framework/framework-res/drawable-hdpi. The battery is stat-sys-battery0-100, you will also want to swap stat-sys-batt-animation0-

So if DG did in Cog with the batter meter, then how did he do it so we can do it ourselves?

i believe it is all in the framwork-res.apk
I'm using a metamorph circle batt mod right now, and in the cog chat last night someone tried the stock lock through a kernel swap. No dice.

Kernel swapping to do that would be an obvious no-go. The file is from 2.1.
But I have been trying to do this myself as well, following the original thread. Keep getting stuck in soft boot loop though.
easiest way to get stock lockscreen is by getting widget locker... lol..

here is stock froyo rom with circle battery. all I did is pull framework-res.apk from Cog 2.2 rom and replace existing apk with it via root explorer. then I used Minimalistic Batt-Circle metamorph and replaced battery images.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
The % battery meter is easy:
Grab the Cognition 2.2 rom, strip out framework-res.apk and copy it over top of the framework-res.apk in the stock Froyo. Works great (I'm running it.)
I'm not aware of a way to do the stock lock screen yet unfortunately.

I like the look of your home screen. Can you give a step by step so that I can reproduce it.

I tried a stock lockscreen policy.odex designed for an i9000 froyo build. No dice. Had to reflash my entire rom because I couldn't boot back in to change it back lol.
does anyone know if the music control will still be there if we use the stock lock screen? im guessing not but thats the only reason to stick with TW's.

Well,
Icons are from HD2 forum called Dinnik. They come with "no icon" templates.
I grabbed high rez Eclair icons from say CM Nexus ROM and used photoshop to make necessary icons.
Wallpaper is from I900 Galaxy forum wallpaper thread by Hokey. It is a Desire wallpaper reworked by him.
Dock bar is from LauncherPro forum. I just darkened it a bit for our AMOLED.
Font is Monotype Helvetica available in Market, if you use OCLF then you have to apply it via Ryan's OCLF application.
Notification bar:
Pull framework-res.apk from Cognition ROM 2.2.
Use ADB or Root Explorer and replace current apk in /system/framework. Reboot.
You gonna have the stock battery with percentage.
Get Minimalistic Batt-Circle metamorph and extract it in your metamorph folder in your phone internal sdcard. Do not apply it if you just want battery percentage look.
Download from this forum Fightspit OP file that you like A,B,C,D,E whatever.
Extract from it's framework-res.apk folder drawable-hdpi. Which has circle battery images.
Than, go to your phone sdcard/metamorph folder where you extracted Minim Metamorph files. Open framework-res/res folder.
If you like what Minimalistic Metamorph does to your other phone images then just replace only battery stat images. If you just want the battery change then remove all image files from that res folder and copy all new batt_stat images to it.
Once you are ready to apply Min Metamorph choose existing project, choose it xml file and only apply framework option. Do not use any other options such as Email or TWframework. Follow instructions.
Hope this helps. Replacing framework-res.apk via Root Explorer worked for me, phone was vibrating and acting weird till I reboot it. Once it rebooted to Cognition stock battery with percentage I knew I am hald way there because I used to do this to my Cognition 2.1 Rom with Minimalistic Metamorph.
Remember to replace batt_stat images one to one. Min Metamorph has already circle images only B/W which I didn't like. I also didn't like what it did to other graphics on the phone.

New battery MOD for 2.3.6?

I just updated to silver ota 2.3.6 and my battery MOD (circle %) for 2.3.5 causes boot loop. Anyway i can get it to work for the new update?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
If you created your battery mod from UOT KITCHEN, you'll need to upload the 2.3.6 UCLA3 systemUI.apk, framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk... redo your battery selection in KITCHEN, then flash the new cooked up zip via CWM.
So THAT'S what happened to me!
Lol. I installed it yesterday after upgrading to UCLA 2.3.6 two days ago and got stuck in the bootloop. Thought I read it was for 2.3.6
Wronv 2.3.6...there was a version of the 2.3.6 rom that came OTA back in Decemberish... Another came out last week?. The blue circle battery mod was for the old version. You can make a new version and flash it using UOT Kitchen. It has walk throughs telling you what files you'll need to upload.

Rom Toolbox and Themes

So I just started using Rom Toolbox last night (thanks seeker9 for the recommendation). I've changed system font, battery status icon in the status bar, changed my boot animation and experimented with underclocking the processor. I notice there's a theme manager. Has anybody safely used the theme manager with SuperCharged V5 or any other ROM with the Atrix 2?
I have and it bricked my phone dont use please

What specific part bricked your phone? The theme manager? ROM manager? I've only used the features I mentioned, "system font, battery status icon in the status bar, changed my boot animation and experimented with underclocking the processor". I manage ROMs with Atrix 2 Bootstraper.
BTW there are two theme managers. One called Theme Manager and one called Theme Chooser Themes. Since we don't run CM7 (or 9) yet its obvious we can't use Theme Chooser. I'm wondering about the Theme Manager though. Nothing there looks extremely compelling to me. Just curious. Not curious enough to brick my phone though. I might try Notification Backgrounds first. Anybody here try that?
I'd like to try the dialer themes too. Anybody try that with SupsrCharged ROM?
Sent from my rooted Atrix 2 SuperCharged V5
I've been using it for months and never bricked my phone once using it but changing the themes is the only thing i don't use because we don't have access to any ROMS yet

yep im using it also and you can use theme Changer without any Problems but make a Backup of your Stock theme so you can revert it sometime

This is a nice request for someone besides yourself to do. Are you sure that's all you need? Would you like an appetizer or a drink with that order.

Battery Mod(Only for CM9)

This battery(Percentage)mod is the battery which is on Ravers Audiophile rom. So if you would like this battery for your CM9 rom, then download the zip and flash it.
I take no credit for this. i only compiled the 204 png files into a flashable zip file.
Thus said,happy flashing.:fingers-crossed:
Okay so i heres another flashable zip, its the same battery but this is for the users who are on the amazing erik's slim ics rom.
Also.if anyone wants a specific battery just PM me and ill respond back,if you want a battery mod on a different rom then ask on here, nuff said. Go Flash it.:fingers-crossed:
The screenshot is from my Slim rom with the battery mod.
My phone turned into a gremlin and ate itself!
You got a problem?

Smile ! Will this mod have the ability to change the color battery icon?
Sadly no. its only the ics color. But I could change the color into what you'd like and maybe send you a flash able zip file
