Worth every penny. No joke, if you like these get one from the AT&T store.

Agreed. I have tried almost all of them and Moshi is the best IMO. No soapy water, no wait to cure and no bubbles. Just wipe off your screen and apply. And if you don't place it perfectly, just pick up and reapply. I have taken them off, rinsed them in the sink, let them air dry and reapplied, no problem. Some claim it desensitizes the screen, but not my experience. Can be a little pricey ($20 to $25) and hard to find at a discount, but well worth the ease of use for me.
Somehow I failed to notice that it completely covers the notification light. Fail.

does it degrade the screen quality? i ask because i have friends with iphones who bought anti-glare screen protectors and their screen looks horrible and they have the retina display.

I was also bummed when I noticed this (I thought the led was broken at first). I emailed Moshi and they said it was something Moto change last minute and to ask for a refund from AT&T. I bought a $2 xtreme guard from Amazon that came today. I'll try it out tomorrow and give ATT a visit.

I have the Moshi and while it is easy to use, covering the LED notification light is a deal breaker.
While it's a great idea, the Moshi isn't worth it. I bought it from the local AT&T store for about $30 and applied it in a couple seconds. I got home and realized that I put it on *slightly* off, so I took it off and washed it, then left it to air-dry. I let it dry for a bit more than 48 hours, and then I picked it up to apply it to my A2. There was STILL bits of residue from the water that was easily visible. I washed it again and dried it 3 more times, getting as much water off the screen as I could, but 2 days later there was still signs of water.
So, unless you can find a place to put a piece of plastic for a week without any dust getting on it, don't even think about washing it. As for the notification LED, I didn't notice it because it was only applied for a few hours, but it's certainly a deal-breaker for me. However, I'm a bit skeptical about Moshi's excuse. How could they NOT know that there was a notification LED for such a device? It sounds to me like the just didn't see it 0_O
Sigh... off to the AT&T store for me to see if I can get a refund, although I threw away that cheap (but expensive!) piece of plastic a couple days ago :\. It's too bad about the notification LED, because otherwise I would be willing to buy that again and just not wash it .
I bought one of these and it had the notification light issue, I emailed support and they sent me out a brand new one that corrects the issue for free. My wife has the same phone so I just put it on hers. I really dont need the notification light.
Don't like these or the extreme guards. I buy mine off ebay for a fraction of the cost and they work fine. Have always protected my screen and never damage anything.
The Moshi makes my screen look grainy.
The Xtreme is too hard to apply. One mess up and you might as well throw it away.

That's great! I might try doing that because it's a great screen protector besides the washing/reapplying thing.
EDIT!
I emailed them yesterday and they replied, saying:
Hello,
Thank you for your email.
We’ve heard from a few customers that the iVisor for the Motorola Atrix 2 doesn’t match the phone in the way it was intended to. Unfortunately, the phone’s design was changed at the last minute by the phone manufacturer and both AT&T and Moshi were unaware of this.
Please send it back to our Sunnyvale office and we'll send you an updated version of the iVisor for the Motorola Atrix 2 under warranty coverage.

Since I don't have the protector with me I emailed them back asking if what I had was enough to exchange: The cardboard slip with instructions/warranty info, the cleaning cloth, and (possibly) the receipt from the AT&T store. I am waiting for a reply.
So, even if they did mess up and forget about the notification LED, they have great support and stay on top of all their products.
I love how the moshi screen protector looks on the phone. I'm not big on branding so the black under coating is perfect for hiding the AT&T and Motorola logos. After using an antiglare protector I can't be happy without it. However the dealbreaker for me was how little tackiness it had. Without a case holding the screen protector in place it would shift around in my pocket. Eventually it would slide off completely. I bought two, the first applied by the store associate, the second I applied myself. Same problem both times.
After a while of using the protector I think I would prefer a different one. It is very convenient but it is very soft and scratches/marks easily. Their technical support is amazing but the product is just OK... and also pretty expensive.
The feeling of the the screen protector is kind of weird... it's tacky but not tacky at the same time. It is very, very smooth... almost like a really clean chalk board, and you finger can very easily glide across it... but as soon as you apply too much pressure it gets fairly tacky.
It also makes the screen look grainy, although it's bearable.

Just got the Zagg screen protector. It is cut around a 32nd of an inch too big for the screen and overlaps frame around the screen. Since the screen is recessed just a hair, a gap forms along the edges.
I installed one on my Vibrant (sold it for the G2) and it was perfect.
For those who say the protector wasn't centered correctly, it was and overlaps on both top and bottom and side to side.
Going to contact Zagg.
Anyone else with this problem?
Yep... just came upstairs from installing mine. A hair too big. It'll do until my PhantomSkinz protector arrives.

Just got off the phone with Zagg. They're going to send me a replacement but the representative said this was the first time he's heard of this.

Just submitted my complaint via the online form, so I guess now they have at least two cases. Of course, I have a feeling you'll get another screen protector that's too big. Let us know if it fits better.
Mine did not fit either, I assumed that I did not properly apply it. SO I checked back and you are right, it is a bit too long. I will contact Zagg tonight to confirm that there is more than two users with this problem ;-)
Mines on the way hope it doesn't have that problem
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Mine was just a fraction too big, but as it dried, it shrunk a little and now fits perfect.
And yes, I am talking about the Zagg screen protector despite how that sounds.
Edit: I guess there is the slightest bit in one corner that is not adhering because it is just a hair too big. It is perfectly positioned and no room to move it, so yeah, guess it does have a problem. As time goes by, it will be a bigger problem as dust and stuff gets in there.

Too big here too. I contacted them through the online form, so we'll see.

Same. I just got my Zagg today and just installed it. Too big!
I also just sent them an email to let them know about it. I told them to actually get a fix first before sending me a new Zagg shield.

I ordered the full cover as well today. I tracked the shipping with twitter and I believe they're back ordered.
Fix when I get replacement
As I mentioned in the first post, Zagg is sending me a replacement screen protector..the rep I talked to said it may be just a bad batch that is oversized.
They also originally charged me $3.99 for the replacement until I called back and complained that this wasn't a warranty replacement, it was a bad product replacement.
At any rate, if the new screen is too large, I'll probably just get a ruler and a box cutter and trim it myself. I'll compare the cutout to the screen and make the appropriate cuts. I did a test fit with the original cutout...it seemed too large but I thought the screen protector might be smaller to make it easier to peel off the backing.
All in all, Zagg products are still top notch!
When someone gets their full body coverage do you mind sharing how it feels in the hand over the soft-touch plastic?
Weird, I've never heard of Zagg. I live in Arizona, is it mainly an eastern thing or something? Since the G1 I've always used Ghost Armor, which is actually based in Az. I don't know how Zagg feels, but I highly recommend Ghost Armor. It actually feels pretty close to HTCs soft touch. Its almost like a soft clear rubber that's super thin yet very protective. I've heard the material was developed by the military and licensed by Ghost Armor.
Anyways I went and got a screen cover (they will install it all for you) the day my G2 came, but I'm waiting on them to get the kit for full armor which should be in Monday hopefully. The armor comes with a lifetime warrenty and they'll put a new cover on at anytime if you drop it a bunch and screw it up for free.

I ordered mine yesterday.... waiting on it.... hoping it fits...
I just filled out the online form and came here to see if anyone else was having the same problem. Too tall and a hair too wide that keeps it from laying flat in a couple of places. Good results previously from Zagg. Kind of like brando.hk protectors, but they didn't have anything yet for the G2.
I think it's too tall to ever shrink enough to fit.

Yea, let us know how it turns out when you get it. Hopefully they'll fix the size issue. I was thinking of purchasing one myself.
Well here it is ladies and gents, full body coverage for the HTC Sensation!
http://phantomskinz.com/htcsensation4g.aspx
I just got my device fully wrapped by Phantom Skinz with the clear film, they are a locally based company so I just took it into them. They also have a matte film available for the Sensation, as well as their really awesome Chromatics (literally looks like custom car paint).
First off, the guy at Phantom Skinz said it was really difficult to apply the full body coverage and anyone that has installed these types of films before, already knows that the install process is not that easy anyway. But, if a guy that installs these films on an almost daily basis says it was hard then that is definitely something to remember.
Now it wasn't the film for the screen that was difficult to install, but rather the film for the back of the phone. He said the film for the screen was actually easy, which I questioned because of the curved glass.
Also note, if you are not comfortable trying to apply the full body coverage yourself, you can actually send the phone in to Phantom Skinz and they will install it for you. I know it's not the most ideal solution, no one wants to be away from their Sensation for a week, but at least it is an option.
Anyway, the end result looks awesome and I really recommend looking into the Chromatics if your not really into the 3 tone color scheme going on with the back cover. The Phantom Skinz guy also said the install for the Chromatics is actually easier because it is more like applying a sticker versus the liquid based install of a clear film.
Beautiful! I'm guessing yours is the "Full Body Coverage" since it's so glossy...I want to see how the Matte one looks
I really like the feel of the soft painted back, so I don't think I'll be getting a case for my phone this time. Maybe a screen protector, if I can find one I can easily (and quickly, the less time it spends exposed to the dusty, pet hairy environment of my apartment, the better) apply.
I'm going to wait until stealth comes out with their full body. They usually have free ones and all you pay is shipping, I had two for my myTouch when it first came out

I like Phantomskinz but I'm not digging how glossy that looks.
thanks this is the skin I prefer, and glad its still 10 bucks for 2 screen protectors that are really good quality.
Only hesitancy is my S4G is being exchanged for dust under screen. A while ago my HD2 was warranty replaced. If only we could pull the phantomskinz off the screen and remount them on the replacement HTC.

I actually did just that with an ipod nano a couple years ago. I first had it replaced under warranty, then I couldn't get the film on the new nano how I wanted it , so I re-applied it several times. I just pulled the film off slowly and soaked it in a slightly warmer cup of water than the instructions say to do (not really sure if the higher temp helped) and it re-applied just as if it was brand new.
Tempted to buy this. But over $4 shipping to the UK puts me off... even with the 25% discount...

Used this on my galaxy S, eventually (3-6months) the skin starts to allow dust in the edges of the skin causing the edges to catch on things like fingers.. until removed completely.
I would usually go with Phantom Skinz since I have gone this route with many of my devices, the G2, MT4G, G2x, Asus TF. It worked very well for both the clear skin and the chromatics. I decided to go with Ghost Armor this time, only because of where I am staying now, there is a booth inside mall, so I noticed it and since I had the cheap T-Mobile SP that doesn't cover the entire screen, I took a stab at it. They just cut out a templet, and then put it on the screen for now, until the actual product that should be coming in, in a few days. I paid $35 for the full body kit and they will install it. They put a temp SP on there that they manually cut, then had it sit in one of those dryers I guess that's inside a plexiglass. They told me to come back in a few days when they will have the body kit in stock and they will install it over again.

I had GA on my G1 back in the day and it was just awful. It never stayed on and I had to get it re-installed 5 or 6 times. I don't know how I got suckered into paying the $10 install so many times (they didn't charge me the 1st time and only charged me $5 the 2nd). Each time I brought it back they always said, oh we have revised the film to make it better.

Yea I didn't care because I would usually do it myself, but I'm not home for 6 months, went to MA for an internship, and where I'm staying was the mall with GA in there. So I gave it a shot since I don't have my usual stuff for putting on the body covers. I will see how it is when they install it. I had bought the SP from TMO again since its in the mall, but after seeing GA I returned the SP from TMO and they were nice to give me a referral for 10% off GA
Do we have any options for screen protectors on this tablet? I'd prefer to use the tablet "naked" with only a film over the screen to help deter scratches. (I really don't care if the back gets scratched..)
Thanks

SKinomi makes one for the GT7+ and the quality is good but I'm warning you of their customer service. They have the worst customer service. You better hope you won't have to deal with them. They got 3 strikes from me just on one order.
1st: they forgot to process the order, I had to send them a followup email
2nd they again, forgot to send the item after 10 days from processing. I had to send them another followup email.
3rd: the item arrived, they forgot to include a squeegee! No big deal if this is just the case but they already f#$%ed me 2x.
Plus they only respond if you answer them basic questions but if they had to deal with these issues, they keep silent and doesn't even apologize for their mistake. This is just my experience though.. I hope this doesn't happen to you.
UPDATE: Just got a word from their manager. They are in the process of looking for a company that will provide a squeegee for them (no biggie). And he apologized for everything that had happened.. That's all I needed. .. and a full refund. All is well!
Something I stumbled upon a while back. I've not bought it as I hear "Santa" is bringing it to me.
Looks pretty good from here.

Is it a glossy style or a more matte style? Would you say fingerprints are more or less of a problem with this screen protector? Would you describe the film as stiff or more "stretchy"? Does the protector create an "orange peel" effect?

The Skinomis I've used in the past on other devices (wet apply) are iffy. Some were rather "rubbery" (DroidX) and kind of shiny (TF101). The larger the more pliable. I replaced both. Not a real fan of "wet-apply" myself. Others swear by them. Both attracted fingerprints and other goobers but wiped off easily.

This is the clear style not matte. Im curious on how a matte protector wouldfeel or look like but this clear skin is better in reducing fingrprnts than having nothing. My hands sweat a lot and this really helps. The feel is similar to Bodyguardz if you had experienced it. Total opposite ofnthe zagg protector that ive used on a gt10.1. My fingers has a friction squeaking feel on a zagg but this one is smooth.
This film is "stretchy".. wet apply..have like 2 dozen bubbles on it right now because i had to attend to my crying 2 yr old while applying this thing. By the time i came back, the it was too late to redo. But im confident these bubbles will all go away in a couple of days. Will update when the time comes. Some of them are already gone after 24 hours.
Anyway, if youre a fan of bodyguardz then this would be perfect as well. "Skinomi25" coupon cvode on their website saves 25%

I think it's more matte style, but I may be comparing it to phone protectors which I've used outside. No fingerprints on mine - I'm hella dark and ashy, and I have to use hand lotion all the time so chicks dig me. Fingerprints are a huge concern for me, so I am pleased with that aspect of the skin.
I don't notice any orange effect. I'm not sure if it's stretchy, but if you are talking about what I think you're talking about, then it is more stretchy than stiff(I'm guessing you mean kind of like camera film when describing it as stiff. I've had cheap protectors like that.)
Skip the atFolix stuff, I just got it and applied it. Frankly I'm happy they shipped two, as the product was god awful to apply and the first one I applied had a a couple scratches going down it.... so effectively it was burned...
Here's the Amazon feedback I just left and I'll elaborate more
----
Product not cut to size, with 1-3 mm from the edges of the tablet, gives it a cheap screen feel. The screen is only a single back applicator, meaning you only pull one side to apply. As a lot of other other screens use two backings, one to protect the adhesive and the other to protect the screen itself, you can expect some scratching on the screen itself due to the fact that the screens are shipped side by side and therefore rub and scratch during transit. Micro-scratches are very evident. Not happy with the quality and the somewhat self inflicted damage of the screens.
Finally shipper does not have tracking numbers available.
----
As for the cutting of the plastic, I've personally gotten better cut screens for my phones for less, then the cut of this plastic...
I wouldn't recommend this and given in couple months I'll most likely swap this screen out...

Zagg has one available at best buy for the tab+ $24.
I miss when i got the original galaxy tab and there were pretty much a wide availability of aftermarket accessories for it. Not so much w/ the Plus. I'm still looking for a clear (non matte/anti-glare) and non-gummy screen protector.
I just got the skinomi finally last night and pulled it off after a minute of application. Just like the Zagg/invisibleshield product it has this grippy/gummy texture i don't like on my touchscreens. That's fine on the body if i don't want to use a case, but really not my preference on the screen.
What i want is a smooth, close to frictionless as possible on the touchscreen that affects the clarity as little as possible. In the past I like the Boxwave Crystals but they don't have any for our device, so I placed a request.
Anyone ever deal with this company? They list a screen protector specifically for our devices.
Looks promising. But then the Titanic looked promising..........

Oh believe me they have it. Their customer service is just plain incompetent and lazy. I got it after a couple of followups.. Oh and when USPS displays on their tracking website "Electronic Shipping Info Received" which indicates Skinomi already printed a shipping label for your item, don't settle and don't wait because for sure they will forget to send it in! Bang their heads until the tracking info starts moving. Then demand for a manager and get a refund for the trouble they've caused you. You then get the item for free. That serves them right because that item is their payment for the aggravation they've cause you. Just send them an email, be irate because I know you already are.

i sent numerous emails. i finally received the stuff from them it only took 34 days. i asked how to get a refund and was told they only offer a refund up till 30 days from order date. after many more emails they finally agreed that if i ship the stuff back they will refund my money. i will be doing my best to warn people of the terrible customer service at this site. not to mention the product comes all rolled up in a stupid tube in a huge package. wouldn't flat shipping the body kit make more sense than rolling it up tight?
I recently got an ArmorSuit screen protector, and applied it like I did all other wet application screen protectors. However, I guess as I was squeezing out the liquid, some got under the screen, as there is a dark, cloudy area around the border that looks like it's water damage. When turned off completely, there also is a light on in the corners. Meaning in a dark room, I can see it has some faint light in two of the corners turned on. Lastly, there is also a brighter strip of light down the middle that is about a centimeter in width and starts from the bottom of the screen to half way.
It's been about 24 hours since application, and I've left it off in a bucket of rice for those 24 hours. My question is whether or not this will go away with more time or if I'm just SOL.
Mine never dried out. I had the exact same thing happen. Replacing the LCD and digitizer was my only solution.

Very sorry to hear. This should be a word of caution to everyone who uses those types of protectors. I don't because they simply are too rubbery and unnatural but another reason is the weird feeling I have when spraying water on my phone.
For future reference, I always wrap the squeegee in a paper towel so that it absorbs the water as soon as it squeezes out from under the screen protector. I have never had any water get under the screen of my phone using this method.

So I just booted it on again, and noticed that some of the grayish/cloudy parts disappeared, there's still some there, but I think it means it's going away, however the brighter strip of light is still there and there's some light flickering in the bottom and corners. Does this go away as it dries or am I stuck looking for a replacement screen?
This just happened to me. It's quite unfortunate, as I'm out of warranty (bootloader unlocked, lol), and the only option it seems I have is to replace the LCD and Digitizer. I'm going to try the good ol' rice trick, hopefully that'll fix it.
Sorry to hear this fellas, could have happened to anyone. You would expect the manufacturer to test the application of their products.... Hopefully the rice will help!

Why in the world would you use these terrible protectors anyway? Assuming you actually managed to get it installed without wrecking your phone, its still the worst. They feel sticky and rubbery.
Don't use this junk.
same thing happened to me, but worse. I got the armorsuit millitaryshield, sprayed the stuff on my phone, the phone screen went really dark, my new htc one x i bought less then a month ago for 500 dollars!!!!, it is really dim, but if you look closely you can kinda see but it needs to be really bright like when it boots up the one x white screen i can kinda see that cause it's really bright. I think a light or something in there broke cause of the liquid!! I contacted amazon, they refunded me for the screen protector and they said they might be able to do something for my phone, i also contacted the manufacter yesterday, no response yet....
I am really mad, cause i doubt it can get fixed, cause i bought it from someone who owned it for a couple of months, but never took it out of the box, so pretty much brand new just never used and i don't use it on att use it on h2o cause it cheaper. Anyone have any ideas or anything?

I have successfully installed wet protectors in the past, multiple times on my old touch pro 2, the original atrix, and captivate. However, due to the hox's design I didn't attempt to do it, I only used dry clear ones...

I agree, but my droid x never needed a screen protector it was so resistant to scratches on the screen, i may have got 1 or 2 little scratches after 2 and 3 months. my htc one x has like 5 long scratches after less then a month. did you contact armorsuit about it breaking your phone, it's been almost 2 days for me and no replies. Amazon has been quick to respond and everything, and they said they can't do anything about the phone cause no one had a similar problem according to the reviews, but now i have this, but they did refund me for screen protector, they said to contact armorshield for the phone. I said what if they don't reply, like people said they don't on the amazon reviews, the guy said my manager will call you on the 18th and see if we could do anything about the phone, if they don't fix it or pay for a new phone, how much will a new lcd+digitzer+putting it on cost?
if that is the problem, seems the only problem with the phone atm is the fact is its really dim, i think like a light in there broke or something from the screen protector liquid.
Getting the screen replaced is $220, if that's what you were asking. (it's kinda hard to tell from your wording.)

I made a video on how to install a wet screen protector. trick is to open mist and hold the phone at an angle.
And the all important power off that evades many impatient minds:beer:

All three done by HTC. Sometimes they even replace the body of the phone for some reason.

dry screen protectors
I sent my htc one x out to htc, they said they might not be able to cover it under warranty since i bought it from a third party, even though i paid 500 dollars -_- and it's only been used for a week from previous owner and it broke in less then month from a screen protectors, amazon told me to contact them if i am charged with anything from htc, they said they might be able to do something about it.
Can anybody recommend any dry screen protectors? so i can have it ahead of time, so i can apply it on the new screen once i get, so i have no scratches.
I bought the Zagg Invisible Shield HD protector. Wet application. Feels like glass. No rubbery feeling. But I make sure always when squeegeing, that I use cloth and soak up the solution as I get to the edges. Not one problem here. Sorry for your misfortune.

So today i have finally broke my phone I am currently phoneless until my replacement screen comes in so i will be going phoneless from here until atleast 4/20!! So i would like to describe what happened. Usually this phone is a tank and i can drop it 1 million times without it breaking until today happened. I was already having a really bad day i woke up late in the morning and almost missed my bus. i went to school looking like trash and then i end up going through the whole day with a really bad headache. I had to deal with a horrible mat teacher who gave me a (no joke) 66.60 for the marking period. half the class failed. So whatever i dealt with her then i went through my day until i was in my last period class. i was wearing gym shorts today so my pockets were really loose and i had my phone in my right pocket. I was sitting in a chair that was 2 feet off the ground and BAM my phone smashes into the floor. At this point I'm like "oh crap its done" so i flip it over and there was only a tiny crack in the top left hand corner so im like oh okay no biggy I can deal with that. That wasn't the worst of it. The screen powered on perfectly fine nothing looked wrong however only one half of the touch screen worked. Touching the screen anywhere under the power button wouldn't work. Running a DPI of 420 puts 2 essential things right in that exact area (dpi wont matter for the second thing) 1. My lock password is toast so i cant unlock my phone 2. even if i could unlock my phone (some cases i was able to unlock my phone but it works for 5 seconds then stops) the nav bar lives in that zone so im screwed. I just find it funny how a tiny drop can be so fatal and disable half a screen while i drop my phone daily from many different heights and thee wort it got was a scratch. I'm curious what are your drop stories?????
PS. if you don't see me participate in the threads I usually stalk its because I prefer to browse and post to XDA from XDA Labs. The website sucks.
I have repaired my phone and ordered the black dualpro or whatever its called case by insipio I ended up getting it for $25 should be here in a few days the company who ships it is very reliable
photos to follow within the week
Same thing happened to me. But replacing the screen on these is really easy, provided you get the screen/digitizer and frame assembly. Ijust did mine last week. Now i wont take off the case again. I have never cracked a screen until this phone. But up and going again.

Maybe if you just got black or something. Some of us customized them in Moto maker or skinned them. It would be useless to cover it up and I don't like the clear cases. Sure you have to be careful but you really should even with a case. The thing is accidents happen and a case isn't a guarantee that the phone won't break anyways.

If only they weren't so ugly for this phone. Good thing I take care of my stuff...
@WelcomeToTheSkye Sorry to hear about your phone. And your class. I was so scared I was gonna drop my MXP until I got a case. I was expecting the rubber on the back to be grippy but mine is slippery compared to my old moto E and the metal makes it worse. If you'd like a case recommendation, I have the Diztronic case and the Incipio Octane. They're both good. The octane looks better because it lets you back material show through and it adds more grip, but the headphone port cutout isn't big enough for my ATH-M50s
The Diztronic is really really nice. It just doesn't add as much grip. The buttons are also really easy to press. It's the one I usually use.

I got a pretty nice looking carbon fibre look case off eBay for less than £5 and it's saved my phone no end of times, if you go caseless and your phone breaks you only have yourself to blame
Wallet cases are also a great way to protect your phone/screen. I looked around on Amazon for a while and the only well reviewed one was the one by a company called J&D. I purchased it in turquoise and paired it with the Pleson tempered glass screen protector and the only downside is that all tempered glass protectors for this phone come up a little on the sides due to the curved screen but otherwise this is a protective and attractive combination.

Make sure you head over to https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-X-Pure-Moto-X-Style/bd-p/449 before having Moto Mobility work on it. There's some disagreement over whether it's a scam or negligence, but either way you're in for a lot of trouble.
I don't use a case either because it makes the phone too large for a pocket. Too bad Moto didn't put a rim around the glass like every other Chinese and Japanese phone has. I guess they wanted the iPhone look with a minimalist white face and a cracked screen.

Same thing happened to me I stripped 6/20 of the screws... Turns out if you rip the screen off by getting a screwdriver under it you can still the stripped screws out of the back frame. It doesn't need all 20 screws it needs the one to hold the motherboard to the screen and at least 8 to keep it in place

Everybody says this so I'm betting Leno glued the screws in. It's fixable if it's into plastic. Lift the edge of the screw head with a knife tip as you turn it. Once it's out, clean the threads. Dip a thin wire into plastic welding glue (modeling and pipe glue works) and wet the inside of the screw hole. Clear out any excess glue. Let the glue dry somewhere warm for at least an hour. The screws should fit now.
Can you post a link to the replacement you got? I bought one of the higher priced ones on ebay and have had three with screen issues. The seller just wants to refund me at this point, so I need to find one that will not have light bleed, dead pixels and an unresponsive screen. Thanks in advance!
I am not recommending anyone do this and am not responsible if you mess your phone up. but this worked For my stripped screw. Replaced my screen today. One screw stopped I drilled the head of the screw out. I used a left handed bit because you drill in reverse with these and if the bit grabs it may unscrew. May but didn't. It made me very nervous but worked. And the part of the screw that was left in didn't matter since I bought the screen with the bezzle/frame. And I had a extra screw same size. It was Philips head but worked. There is a good chance if you try to drill out your stripped screws you will completely brake your phone. But there is that small chance for success?
