I installed JagerROM 3.2 and it's great, my only issue is that there is no gmail app. K-9 Mail just doesn't cut it for me and I can't figure out how to get the gmail app back. I searched the forums a little and nothing seemed obvious, can anyone help me get my gmail app back?
any help at all? It's really bugging me haha
I know there is thread for it I'm currently looking for it also
you can get it from the google apps
either grab Gmail.apk from system/app out of the zip and push it to /system/app or flash this entire zip from recovery

I made few changes to a 2.1 ROM, I resigned all google apps and everything works great.
The only problem is that I lost sync with gmail, contacts, etc... Is there a known problem with this? do I need to modify the .apks?
Thanks.
I'm moving from a Nexus One to the Inspire and I'm missing my Picasa web albums in the Gallery app.
I've looked in the account options to setup a sync and Picasa is oddly missing as an option.
Any work around I'm not seeing?

Yeah, sign up at htcsense.com and download the Picasa viewer.
Actually I had the same problem but resolved it by downloading the 3d Gallery from the Android market. Once I did this it put back the option to Sync Picasa in the Accounts Sync area for Google.
You may have to reboot the phone for it to work properly.
Just my 2 cents..

Worked for me, thank you! I did have to reboot, BTW.
I downloaded the sense Picasa plugin and had my albums synced, but when I went back again it wasn't syncing and nothing showed up.
I had the option to sync in account setting, buti downloaded gallery 3d anyway and it added a second picasa sync option but still won't work even after reboot.
Does anyone have another idea?
Thanks

I know it is probably considered a workaround but I got sick of the gallery apps altogether a while ago and started using justpictures. Picasa, facebook, etc, plus defined folders. Works very well and doesn't kill the resolution like some stock gallery apk's.

It's never my first option to use apps from the market as a replacement, but this one solves my issue....
Thanks for the idea, I'm glad I can get to my Picasa album now!!

Does this work with google apps accounts that have been transitioned? I downloaded it, have the sync option in account, but whenever I go into the gallery it says I need to add an account. Anyone get this working?
PS - I am on Revolution 3.0
Alright so I happened across a post today that said the Camera was somehow dependent on the Email app. This wouldn't have meant anything to me, except for the fact that Barcode Scanner has been "malfunctioning" for a while now and I couldn't figure out why. So upon learning this new information, I reverted from the Galaxy Tab email app to the stock email app and viola! Everything was all peachy again.
Now, my question is this: Why would the Camera app have anything at all to do with the Email app? I know there's send picture by email and attach picture from camera and whatnot, but why would updating the email app break the camera/Barcode Scanner and if it's possible, how do I fix this?
Download this and copy the file to: /system/lib

Rename the existing with ".bak" just in case.
Should be able to use any email.apk without fc on the camera after this change.
Awesome thank you! It all works now
You need a pre-JPY camera build.

All of a sudden my gallery app (the stock android gallery) has quit displaying any of my Picassa albums-even auto back-up. I did nothing. LOL PlayStore upgraded a bunch of apps, & I tried removing the upgrade to Google+ as was suggested on another thread somewhere...but that didn't work either. Anyone have any ideas as to why this might have happened? Strange thing is that I can click on one of the broken link icons & a photo will eventually load, but once I close it, it's gone again.
