I am going through a divorce, and cant afford the 5 lines on my current contract. My hopes are to terminate contract (huge fee) and put my DINC2 on a prepay service. Is this possible?
What are the sets if possible?
The DINC2 is rooted...
Also 2 of the four lines are unlimited Verizon data plans, if you or someone you know would like to take over the lines we could work something out.
If I am in the wrong place dont flame to hard, just point in the correct location and I will head there.

Call T-Mobile and request a sim unlock code, takes 1 to 2 weeks to get it emailed to you.. You will not be able to have 3g working on ATT wireless. They have different frequency bands, but it will do edge.
Hope this clears this thread up and it can now be moved or closed!
BTW try posting in general for these types of ? or just a quick "google"

I'd rather just have some 1 on 1 help? I've had many people offer me assistance without making a huge deal out of my preference for direct interaction. I don't see why suddenly it is an issue between you two.

I have no issue at all with you wanting help, or even 1 on 1. Don't care, I help alot of people. My only issue was with you posting this in general. That's why I said please. Not a big deal, I just don't like seeing the general sub section get cluttered up with simple q&a threads.

So i have been with ST since last august, started on an iPhone 4 then moved to the sgs2, just sunday my phone wouldnt pick up data, i had it shut off to preserve battery as i do most the time with this phones horrible battery life... i flashed a new rom and still no luck, this phone as with any sucks without data! has anyone else had this problem? i thought maybe a straight talk esn sweep or something finally happened but i cant find anything about it on the internet anywhere :\ hopefully something stupid thats fixable.

Opps, sorry about that. Has No one else ran into this problem? It's really aggravating not having data at all.
I put my son card in my moms att sgs captivate and her sim card in my phone, set the apns accordingly and not neither phones get data even with her sim card back in her own phone. Am I banned from data or something?
I don't want to do a custom ROM or anything other than WiFi tether reliably while on vacation the next few weeks.
I see some of these tethering apps promise free WiFi tethering, but I haven't rooted a phone in about a year so I'm out of the loop. I thought the carriers had to stop blocking that or was I dreaming that I read that?
Anyhoo, the last time I rooted I think I bootstrapped and did some other stuff that was a pain in the butt to remove from the phone when I sold it. I'd love to know whether I still need to root and if I do what's the least invasive, easiest option that everyone is recommending at the moment.
