http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/...harge-full-factory-tar-flashing-software.html
just want to make sure this is a good way to unroot

That should work, yes, also check out the "Fix your phone" topic in one of these charge sub-forums. that will also get you back.

Thanks man

Not to be rude, but in most other phone forums, the method of rooting is stickied to the Android Dev forum.
I have the same question he does.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122657 is a pretty complete breakdown, and yeah, that probably should be stickied. Danalo is right, though. This is the wrong section for questions unless the question pertains to something posted.
THANKS FOR THE REFERRAL AND TIP!!!
I Odin'ed the Charge_Voodoo kernel and everything went smooth! In the meantime I will remain with the stock ROM.
Thanks again!

How permanent is permanent root?

Hey guys Just wondering if I can restore my phone to stock if I use the "permanent" root listed in this forum. Any thoughts? I'm not 100% sure I want to keep the phone. Really hate TW so a new ROM might be the thing to make me fall in love. Thanks.

Since ur question wasn't answered, yes, u can restore ur phone back to stock easily using Odin. Its a real easy process if ur used to doing it. Really self explanatory. Go to the development section and look for one Factory EE2/EE4 Odin threads, u will find all u need there.

[Q] [REQ]Galaxy S II Skyrocket STOCK ROM

So I've been looking around for a couple of days in hopes that someone would post a stock rom to flash back to but I haven't been able to locate one. I've searched the forum but wasn't able to find one (if you guys find one please let me know!).
It'd be nice if someone could give us any word as to whether or not the original STOCK rom is attainable to flash back to. I recently flashed a ROM but decided to go back to stock as it performed better, in my biased opinion of course.
If anyone knows of this please help! If your'e in the same boat as I am, please bump!
Thanks
Your fix is listed five threads down from yours.

Please follow the rules. If you didn't make "it," then "it" probably doesn't belong in the development forums. Moved to Q&A.

I wouldn't have caught that as the forum is dynamic; its always changing orders depending on most recent activity. Thanks for the link!

Not trying to be an ass but this is in the wrong section. This should either be in Q&A or general. Also if you had gone to the second page in the development section, you could have found the ruu here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335068

[Q] No LTE after Root/Rom

So, I flashed Cyangonmod 10.1 on to my GS3, and now I no longer have LTE. After trying numerous roms and modems/radios, And even unrooting and going back to stock, I still have no LTE.
If there's anyone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Search in the Cryogen thread, you have to change network settings in either settings our with an app, I can't remember. Also, you have to do it on that ROM or you will not be able to get 4g on any other ROM.

I did search, and Tried everything mentioned, and I still can't get it to work, otherwise I wouldn't have posted.
If there's a thread I missed and should be checking, it would be great if someone could point me in that direction.
Look at post #2 of Restola's official CM10.1 Nightlies and try those steps.
