I just went from Humble 4.22 to Gummy FE 2.0. So far I like it better. But when I plug my phone into the computer it just says "charging" on the charge and shows up as a cd drive on my computer. I flashed the "sd card fix by kejar" thing twice and it didnt work. What do I do?
Did u try a different plug I have had that with plugs from LG phones I use to have and used them on my charge

Why?

A) Youre charging from a USB port which doesnt supply much power so if you use the phone while its charging the phone drains faster than it charges.
B) Youre using a charger that was originally intended intended for low power devices like bluetooth headsets in which case the same reason already given applies.
Also, wrong section.
Sorry, also I'm using the charger it came with but I'm using 2 USB extention cables

i would imagine that it would probably be one of those extensions that is slowing it down because it cannot handle the AMPs. see which one is "hot" and thats probably the one.
Ill try, thanks

Are you using the phone while it's charging?

What's the purpose of the extention? If you're trying to find a good place for wireless tethering, that could very well be draining your batteries.
Is there anything else you can try charging with the current setup for comparison?

Would it be possible to have a double ended micro USB cable that could plug into to phones and have an apple that could determine which phone got charged? Since phones can stop themselves charging ect could they give the current out?

From what I have seen, the usb ports on phones don't provide power, they are used strictly for data, and charging the device itself, not other devices.
So there's no possible way it could do this? I just think it would be a really useful thing to have

So after using my oem cord in a gnex the male side no longer "clicks in" and its kinda bent. So beware!

No direct correlation. I use the same oem micro usb on my GS3, G.Nexus, & Nexus 7. Sounds like you are doing it wrong. I will say the OEM Samsung cords are kinda cheap feeling, but it is not bending because of the G.Nexus.
Maybe it was just me then haha, know of a place I get a new one?

You don't need an OEM. You can use any micro usb. Target, Walmart, RadioShack.

Pretty much, any micro usb data cable is enough
Thank you. I just bought a Xoom from EBay and I'll try to rooted. But I read an somewhere about the OEM cable maybe it's needed for unbrick the Xoom if something goes wrong?

My girlfriend says her One S won't charge. Any idea as to what the problem could be?

Faulty AC adaptor, bricked phone, faulty microUSB cable

It could be the power adapter I guess. She says she can charge it at work. It can't be a bricked phone because it's on.

Yeah, I'd just try a different adapter. I've had this issue where an adapter will work for one phone and not another.
