[Q] Stretched text?

Hi guys,
I've come from a Rooted/Rom'd Hero and just got my Sensation yesterday, it's already been rooted and had quite a few roms on it, but I think I've found one I think I'm going to use daily (Pyramid3D v7.4.0), though for some reason the text is slightly stretched, and that's putting me off quite a bit as everything looks out of proportion, just slightly
Anyone know how to fix this/if it's a current problem?
(Would've posted on the thread, but I've not got enough posts lol)
Thanks,
Dan
edit; re-installed the rom and still does it :/

Take a look at my newbie guide. Even if you are experienced with #su access. It hits on topics specific to this phone.
and welcome to XDA.

Hi welcome to XDA-Developers, your guides and resources to phone related and much more.. enjoy..ooh the search button can help alot *tip*
I just rooted my phone 2 days ago for the first time from stock gingerbread to cm7.
The ingredients for a successful root/flash:
-Read Read Read. Read the materials associated with your tools, your handset, and the commands needed to make this a successful mod. Read through the tutorials available, go through the different methods and then judge which is right for you, taking into account prep, tools, and your available knowledge. Some are easy, others will usually have a disclaimer regarding difficulty. Don't be discouraged, there's a ton of stuff to get associated with. I jumped balls first and went straight for downgrade, s-off and engineering bootloader (this bootloader may save you later, I suggest you really look into it).
-Understand how to use your tools for the job. You'll see adb, android sdk, fre3vo, gfree and a few other tools of the trade to the task you wish to accomplish. Learn them, learn the commands and the syntax. Inputting commands through the command prompt can seem a little scary considering the potential for disaster but time, patience and perserverance. When in doubt....READ MORE.
-No shortcuts! Learn everything to start, taking the easy way is fast and well....easy. But you won't get the exposure to the tools, commands, or environment you'll be working in. I went through the whole long process of setting up the android sdk just to know what I was getting into. You'll be happy when you hit a problem like getting kicked out of adb shell and knowing what command to enter to jump right back in...
-Follow the directions to a tee. No deviation, improvisation, or imagination. It's the difference between a good mod and an expensive paperweight. When in doubt, search the forums for your answer (and google), if you can't find something specific to your question then ask away.
Good luck and enjoy, you can't imagine how many goodies are waiting for you on this side of the fence.
welcome to the Glacier forums!
after succeeding root access and s-off, there MANY different roms out there. my person favorites would be Sense based roms, more specifically Sense 3.5, and even more specific, RCMix3D by capy. that ROM makes the MT4G BEAST!!

Hey welcome! One bit of advise I can offer is that when you are done fideling with sense...you should really check out the AOSP based Roms. Personally I really dig Faux123's gingerbread nexus rom. Great battery life and performance its cyanogen based so you get all.the tweaks but I find Faux's is.less glitchy. Message me if.you want and ill explain why sense looks nice but runs awful ha

ICS in mytouch 4g
I have been using mytouch 4g from one year. I rooted my device last week using cynogenmod wiki procedure. From last week I am experimenting with ICS: Creamed Glacier, currently in version 4.0. Wifi issues are fixed. ROM is great.

hardened android for the security conscious?

hello all,
i was wondering what would it take to use this:
http://www.linuxfordevices.com/c/a/News/SE-Android-publicly-released/
in the existing stock/custom roms...
again i'm a noob, maybe you know if someone has released a kernel or something as hardened as this one since my google skills in search is not that good.
or better yet a rom with encrypted/scrambled signal and encrypted drive inside is great to know! im sure there will be performance penalty but i was just curious to know if someone tried...
i came across with secure messaging/browsing projects at
https://guardianproject.info/apps/
and i think its a good start..i manage/tested only the browser..i cant seem to get gibberbot messenger to work with ICS alpha galaxy SL...
this would be a mixed blessing, ofc. you couldn't easily get hacked, but you couldn't customize your phone either. if you don't know why I said that, read the article again

Galaxy Exhibit 4g Open Webos

Carried over from AndroidCentral.
Got bored at work today and started looking for a Pre 3 to buy because I severely miss the UI for WebOS and I don't want a tablet. Well I got this idea in my head to port WebOS to the exhibit. I've never done this before but I'm good at figuring things out, I have a lot of linux experience, and I'm determined to make it work. The Pre 3 and the Exhibit 2 both have the Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU. Only difference I have noticed so far is the GPU. But I'm gonna get crackin on this as soon as my ubuntu box finishes installing and I can get all of the tools compiled. Just thought I'd share this with yall. Give the Exhibit a little bit of hope
20121019 7:15 HST: Compiled WebOS Desktop. Need to integrate kernal and PPL
20121019 8:49 HST: Still lost as can be on compiling WebOS with kernal and PPL. Giving same error and there's nothing on the interwebs to help me out on the situation. Got the desktop build compiled and running on a VM in my linux partition though so I guess that's some progress? Desktop build only has core apps. So no Browser or app store. I think once I get the compiling issue figured out on the normal build all of that will work just fine. I'm thinking only edge will work since the webos devices don't run on the 1900mhz spectrum.
20121019 7:45 HsT: Okay so I got the WebOS Desktop image built but it turns out I need the normal WebOS image built. But any time I try to 'make webos-image' at the end of the small amount of mumbo-jumbo it gives me says error 127. I can't figure this out because I did everything on the github line for line but it won't build. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I'm familiar with Linux but compiling is all new to me.
20121020 12:13 HST: Got it built, but can't figure out how to get luna on the device. Novacom doesn't recognize it and it isn't a package I can flash in heimdall (Odin for Linux). This is a lot more complicated then I thought it would be. Anyone have any ideas at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
20121020 2:12 HST: If this thread doesn't belong here, mods please move.
Bump.
Good luck on this!
There's a webOS forum over on the main XDA forum page that you may want to post this in. Also, you might get more help if you post this here, which is the general discussion for the Galaxy Exhibit 4G. If you need someone to test this at some point I'd definitely be willing.
