To the best of my knowledge we can only use Android 2.2 (Froyo) when using a hacked-radio D2G.
So what is our options? Let's begin the list!
- Stock ver 2.2 SBF
- Hexen 2.2
What else fellas?
(I will be updating this list so please try to also supply links)
Good news:
Someone on rootzwiki has a hack for GB roms!
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/8326-d2g-gingerbread-hack-for-us-band-unlockers/
I've tired, work for N.HA VENUS RC2 and CM7.
Anyone have an idea on the best/most GB ROM for Droid 2 Global with the band unlock?

Market updates itself when connected to internet as much as i believe. You can look for official rom in Milestone's section:
Motorola Milestone Android Development
This is the one i found:
[ROM] Official Froyo 2.2.1 - Retail Brasil - Rooted & Overclocked Nandroid available
Im trying to find a rom but I cant I want it to have OC and Sense and have Gingerbread can anybody help me out?
there isn't one yet. All the sense based gingerbread roms, are based off of the leaked desire hd/desire s rom, and source hasn't been released yet, hence no kernel development.

So is there anyway to port a Desire HD Kernel to Inspire 4g?
They are ported for froyo not ginger.

I don't think, that it is possible to flash a rom made for the HTC Hero on a HTC Dream. A problem would be the different hardware.
Two roms to check out:
- Beat mod
- Ginger Yoshi
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932118
I am running the beat mod at the moment, but will try Ginger Yoshi again soon.
Also, CM 6 works well, but I had issues with the wifi.
Sorry, I was thinking of Magic.
CM 6 would be a good option.
would opt for the ginger yoshi what do you think?
is android 2.3.5 a real android version or is it a custom version for custom ROM??? cause as far as i knew, the latest version available in the phones are Gingerbread 2.3.4.... please someone clarify this..

I came up with the idea of creating a Custom Roms and Mods Database, C.R.A.M.D for short.
I wanted to get some input into this first before i start pilling on hours and hours of work.
My idea is to create a central Link directory for all Custom roms and mods thats are available.
I was hoping to create a simple website that allows you to select your device then your version of android and then your branch of rom.
Does anybody think this is worth doing?
I eventually hope to have a central database for all custom roms and mods that are available. With approval of the developers of the roms and mods.
Please vote Yes or No so i can get an idea if this is worth doing or not.
I personnaly think it would be handy and would save hours of searching to find that one mod that you used to have on your old device.
Didn't you just describe XDA?

No i didn't even come close to discribing XDA, but i can see where the confusion is coming from.
Let me elaborate a bit more so you understand what i mean.
My idea is not to create a place for users to develop, because we don't need to. XDA has takken care of that for us.
What is want to do is create an easy to search directory for all custom roms and mods on XDA
As i know myself from expiriance that trying to find something using the search function can lead you to the wierdest things. And i know i don't want to spend hours searching.
What i want to do is (to put it simply):
Android Device: Generic
Gingerbread: 2.3
Rom 1: www.linktoxdathreadhere.com
available mods for Rom 1: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
Rom 2: www.linktoxdathreadhere
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
ICS: 4.0
Rom 1: www.linktoxdathreadhere.com
available mods for Rom 1: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
Rom 2: www.linktoxdathreadhere
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
So my idea is a tool to help speed up the process of seaching for Roms and Mods and then being directed to XDA to then discuss and download.
See C.R.A.M.D as the central directory that holds all numbers and addresses. Not anything like XDA just a telephone so people can look there devices up and see within a minute what all is available.
But this would make it earsier on the flashaholics out there, The ones who want to flash every rom and mod available without having to search and search to find that one mod they can't seem to find anymore
This seems like a good idea, searching the whole of xda takes time. I will vote yes.

You usually find this idea in almost all the xda developers phones forums as sticky threads. Almost all the forums I know have a sticky thread in the development section with an index of ROMs and mods.
