anyone else have a loose bezel on the right side of the screen? Mine doesnt seem to be attached to the screen like the left side is.
No my bezel is not loose on either side. Just took my g2x back and exchanged it with this one so much better.

So on the middle if the screen when I apply some force, I notice that it creates a rippling effect. Its similar to when you push hard enough on a calculator screen, it does the same effect. So is this normal or should I return it?

This will happen to any lcd/led/plasma screen. It is more noticeable near the middle on larger displays (than a phone) as the screen cover bends more easily there than around the edge.
Why would you apply force to a touch screen?
Well honestly, I didn't even apply too much force at all. I only noticed it while wiping it down with a cloth. So if this happens with every screen, this however, did not happen to my touchpad. But I'll just take your word for it...

No, just cleaning your screen (gently!) should not cause these rippling effects. Neither should normally applied force do. If that's the case, it's a defective one; return it.

Remember - Gorilla Glass 2 is much thinner that the original - so it would take less force to cause it to flex - maybe that's why you are seeing on the TF700 using the same amount of pressure (and didn't see it on the Playbook)... Assuming that the Playbook doens't also use Gorilla Glass 2 (I'm not sure)...
My recommendation would just not apply that much force when cleaning it!

I applied enough force on my screen (in the middle) to break a heavy duty plastic spoon (the big clear type) and don't have that.
Well, with that being said. I'll be exchanging the tablet for the fourth freaking time! I guess I'm just unlucky with this kind of stuff.

OK, thanks for that. It was like having that big red button with a sign saying 'do not press', just couldn't resist
So after reading your post I couldn't help myself. Pressed on the center of my screen a little harder than usual and sure enough, there's the ripple effect. Only, after trying it a couple more times it left behind almost like finger smudges under the glass.
Did you hear me swear and call you names
Anyway, after 1/2 a minute or so the smudges dispersed and I'm good again.
So I'll put my hand up to being a knob.... I pressed it
So who else couldn't resist?
Go on...Press it....Press it.......Press it.....
I pressed it Got the same ripple-effects described. But no finger-smudges under the screen..
I'm not sure how, but I have a few small scratches only one is visible without shinning a light on it and really only if you know where to look
Anyways has anyone had any luck removing small scratches
Maybe clear nail polish would do the trick...
Though some people have said that a screen protector makes them less visible
Thoughts?

I got a scratch on my s3's screen. Its not that deep but I can still feel it with my fingernail and it does distort the colors but only on high brightness and anything with a white background. Is there any home remedies or screen protecters I can buy that will hide it?
PS. I've already tried the toothpaste method.

It is possible that the digitizer has been replaced, and the adhesive tape used wasn't as good as original
