Have you tried doing full wipe before falshing a ROM?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium

İ try full wipe but never finish succesful .İts goes %70 of wipe and say dont finish aborted 1 error.

Connect the device to your PC.
Reboot to bootloader.
Make sure that you can see "FASTBOOT USB" written on the screen.
Start the RUU on the PC (make sure that the RUU corresponds to your region or brand, if your phone is branded and is at least the same or higher version as detected on the screen of the RUU).
If not working there are no other solutions. Sorry

İ will try this method.but i need a sdcard when i doing that ?.and desire s belong to Vodofone turkey.Which RUU suitable for this.any suggestion.
And is there any methid using gold card for using install suitable RUU

ok i believe thats alll the info. can somebody please point me to the right direction to root this phone.. thanks in advance....
Since you have 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), you cannot permanently root your phone as it is right now (Gingerbread broke all previous permanent root methods for the G2). You will have to actually temp root it, downgrade it to 2.2 (Froyo), permanently root it, then install a Gingerbread ROM that has the root built in.
I just happened to go through this whole process with my G2 yesterday, and it's now running smoothly with Gingerbread, rooted. I first started with the downgrade + root process here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178912
Then I opted to install this ROM, which is the official stock t-mobile gingerbread OTA update, but with just root and s-off added:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1211143
The process isn't too difficult, it just takes a little patience and careful reading and following of the instructions. Post here if you get stuck, maybe I or anyone else who has done it can help you out.
hey thanks for ur reply. i was searching while waiting for someone to respond my question n i used the same method u link above to downgrade everything when fine. i got the # simbol but when i put the PC10IMG in the root of the sdcard then reboot it in bootloader it doesnt read the PC10IMG. i get stuck there.. can i do something else?
Try naming it update.zip, and then in clockwork recovery choose the "apply update from sd card" option.
edit: this assumes you are rebooting into recovery mode, not bootloader mode

wait wait.. mm ok so i follow all the step in the how to downgrade. once i have # simbol that means im temp room "right" ok so after that i have to reboot in bootloader but i have s-on can i still use clockwork recovery?

sorry, i skipped ahead a bit. the downgrade instructions should get you to the point where you are temp rooted long enough to install the 2.2 ROM. once you successfully do that, you will still not have permanent root yet. to achieve that, you need to then pick up with these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Vision
this will leave you with 2.2, s-off, root, and clockwork recovery. from this point you can install any 2.3 rom using clockwork.
ok ok but hey remember that i said when i get the # and i boot into bootloader to install the PCIMG the phone dont read it..

you have to put the whole zip file on the sd card as is without trying to extract it or anything (should end up as /sdcard/PC10IMG.zip). is that what you did?

[Q] Sensation Issue

Ok, so after unlocking, rooting and super cid my phone i decided to try virtuous inquisition since in the past with sense phones i love virtuous rom. So i went to there side and followed the guide flashed the universal firmware and then flashed the rom. When i started the phone it just went to bootlooping and i let it loop for a little because it might be setting up or something but it didnt. i preceded to go into recovery where it says
" E:Cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Cant open /cache/recovery/log
E:Cant mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Cant open /cache/recovery/last_log"
Any idea on how to fix this, i even tryed flashing a different rom and firmware but it still gives the same bootloop and message.

Did you install any recovery tools such as 4EXT or CWM? If you did install it, did you perform a fullwipe before flashing the ROM?
I seen this on another device before meant fried emmc chip if im not mistaken ?

If the eMMC chip was fried he wouldnt be able to access recovery though.
@OP try using 4EXT to wipe all partitions except SD card then reinstall the ROM and see if that helps
I tried both clockwork and EXT 4 recoveries along with re flashing firmware and radios

[Q] [HTC One S][S3] Urgent Help Needed

Hey All,
I recently tried rooting my HTC One S (s3) and have had a few problems.
1. Unlocked bootloader successfully, flashed TWRP 2.3.1.0 successfully but won't mount to USB or won't mount sdcard or storage when I try and flash a ROM.
E:Unable to mount '/sdcard'
E:Unable to mount 'storage'
Or when I mount USB my computer's asking to format the device.
2. I lost my OS (I had Android 4.0.3 and Sense 4.0) and pretty much can't use my phone as a phone. Tried looking for the right RUU but none of them fit my device.

Did you install the S3 version of TWRP? If you have and didn't get to flash a rom then you need to flash stock recovery then factory reset in bootloader.

So is SD working now then since you said it didn't let you flash a rom or did you mean recovery? I see you was looking for that so I go with that, so what you need to do is hold Vol- when turning the phone on and it should load the bootloader, from there you should see factory reset select it and after it's done it's thing everything should be working.

Hi,
OK.
Look HERE
Install 4EXT recovery (2. Flashing a recovery)
Read the whole thread.
It will show you what I mean.
You need to enable "Smartflash" from 4EXT recovery.
Then, install stock ROM from HERE
Be sure to choose the correct ROM for your phone (XE is in the second post)
This should put you back to stock.

I'll give you hints.
You need to format your SD card with Original HTC recovery to format it correctly.
Now I don't know if stock recovery would work with Hboot 2.16.
If it doesn't, you have to run a 4.1.1 RUU which will do the job for you. Then reinstall everything (hboot 2.16, 4.2.2 rom).
