Install clockworkmod, backup your current rom, then restore it. Take out the battery when its flashing the boot image.

NV flash a p990 fw and pull the USB while it's halfway done. That should even mess up recovery. And baseband if you use smart flash. Everything but NV flash will be ruined.

English translation.
So my sisters captivate running the axura rom which enclosed the phone in a waterproof barrier got dropped in the toilet.diarrhea hit her bad and she somehow managed to drop the phone I'm the toilet (what does diarrhea have to do with increasing the chances of dropping a phone into a toilet) basically I got some moisture removing packets and put my phone in a plastic bag with the moisture removing packets for an hour.And who said the captivate can't take **** . Its working fine now.

Alright this might sound weird but whenever I take the back cover off of my phone I can smell something and it seems to be the battery. Now it's not burning or anything, it's actually nice. It smells like pina colata.

I got this phone used so hey maybe someone else did.
I wanted to ask this question for a long time, but I thought I will be thought crazy.

If you are like me that is in an ATT plan and is forced to wait an entire year to upgrade your phone here is a tip.
Right now another week has passed and we still have no reports on the ICS update we are suppost to be waiting and Jellybean is right around the corner. My guess is that this model is going to be outmoded in a matter of time and no more updates will be provided for us. This is still not official but it is a posibility. I have been looking up and Cyanogen is going to launch CM10 that is basicily Jelly. If the phone does get out moded then there is the perfect reason to root and apply CM10 when it becomes available. Sure you will no longer have the Samsung Galaxy style of android but still Jelly's UI is really beautiful and wohld work with a beautiful phone such as the Skyrocket.

You can take a look at what the devs will do with the RIL. Just navigate to the GNex forum and look up bamf paradigm. It is literally the best Rom I have ever run on any phone. I'm crossing my fingers for you all. I just sold my thunderbolt for a used gnex. I got the upgrade AND kept my unlimited data ftw.

But its been like this for many years see us men have a tendency to wander what the hell happened how it happened how to fix it and since we are so tired from downloading reading and rooting our androids , well we don't have an ounce of strength left to unbrick so we shut down instead of showing our wife's/ girlfriends/kids what to do so that when we find ourselves in this predicament they can serve as backup hardware to give us input.
