So thank you to all who have posted guides and and walkthroughs. To LOSTLOGIC89 I give my thanks and a small donation Confirmation number: 4X7719484Y908690L.

but please read the wiki and gweni before flashing.
Hi,
Since you are new to the PDA arena and also this site, I would seriously recommend waiting untill you have gained some knowledge and understanding of how your device works.
Read the Wiki as advised above and digest as much information and terminology as possible.
We are all here to help, some of us Developers and others power users, but you will find that everyone has started at the same place as you.
Whilst every effort is made by the Developers here to avoid problems whilst flashing/upgrading your devices software, problems are inevitable from time to time, so it is important that you read and understand as much information as you can before upgrading your device, if things do go wrong, the worst thing you can do is panic. Stay calm, have a read and search through the forums for similar issues and then make a post.
Please read the Wiki here
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kaiser
and I would then advise, when you are ready, to try Leo's latest Rom, Dutty has been very busy of recent and has not released a new Rom for a while (although his work is very good)

There are so many things wrong with your post ... but i won't waste time on counting them ... here is what you need to do:
1) read the kaiser wiki
2) read the kaiser wiki's section on rom upgrading and flashing
3) read about Hardspl ... make sure you get this before you fflash any roms to your device.
4) research and understand what flashing is and what happens to your phone when you flash.
5) download the rom and flash to your phone after establishing pc connection.
Oh and since you asked such a redundant question i am sure a mod will close this thread ... considering you didn't bother reading the below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397434
or this:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kaiser#ROMx20.Upgrading
or this:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kaiser#Tools
read them before you mess up your device

On the contrary. Dutty just released a ROM a few days ago, and has promised V2 of that ROM soon.

Ask your question in the relevant forum. The development forum isn't for questions, even when they're about a ROM. You should read the Q&A and General forums for the phone you're having problems with and then post there if there is nothing relevant.

There's a thanks button for that. Thanks posts are discouraged as they just fill threads with the same thing and make useful info harder to find.

While I understand your point, I find it hard to be able to contribute constructively to threads where I have experience without getting those 10 posts out of the way. I will look around and see if there are other areas for me to get my post count up more constructively.

I was just making the point that posting "thanks" isn't constructive, which is why the thanks button was introduced. You only said you wanted to say thanks in a dev thread, which is why I pointed it out.
Glad to hear you'll get 10 posts constructively. It'll save the mods the time of having to delete redundant posts
Good luck.
Edit: I see you completely ignored me and created a totally new thread just to thank someone.

general thank you to all

So this is just a thank you to everyone who has posted any good advise here. A few days ago I managed to lose my imei number then I bricked my phone trying to recover it. So I came here like I always do when I have a problem and read a million different threads and now my S3 is back up running and actually running better than it was before I bricked it. So thanks to all that have contributed invaluable advice.

I am sure that your thank you's are appreciated, but one of the reasons that the thank you button was implemented was because there were soooo many thank you posts and threads. Please, just use the button to thank the people who helped you....
