HTC Sensation: Stuck on white screen with htc logo.. please help.
any solution plx help me
hardest also same

We need more info. You probably flashed something that wasent compatible with your current rom. Take out the battery and hold the volume down with the power button at the same time. Hopefully you made a backup, just restore it. If not flash a rom zip you have on your sd card.

If you just flashed a new radio or something like that, try firstly wiping the Dalvik cache and cache partition from your recovery. Then reboot.

That's only if you're on a CM rom. If he downloaded a bad file for the radio then flashed it, brick city!

Bro I am always first one to understand noobs. So here we go
First, when you have a problem like this and aren't sure what your doing, then come read the stickies. See where to ask your questions but mostly to see if there is a thread stickied that already has a solution For you. Most of the time you will find that some one has already had your problem. If not, then your sure to understand where to ask after reading through the stickies
A lot of people may not even help until this is moved to the rite section. Just a friendly heads up before some ass comes and acts rude as hell

Is your sensation rooted?
I had the same issue when I installed a different radio. I installed the previous radio and it booted fine.
Have you done a battery pull?

Lag and force close

Hi just want to ask the community if there is a fix on lag and too much force close if the apps and programs after I flashed the arhd 3.6.2 version. Plus signal became unstable also.

Try to "reflash" the rom again.

Also, make sure to do a 'full wipe' before reflashing. You may also want to consider 'downgrading' superuser right now. The current version is bugged and causing issues like you've described. Just a suggestion...

Full wipe means use superwipe? Or use the wipe factory/system data option from cwm? And how to check which version of superuser I have ? Thanks and sorry for so many questions, I know that there's a thread to answer all these by its like digging for a treasure to find the right thread.

Hi,
A super wipe will clear all the necessary caches and data for a clean install.
To check an app version,go to settings >applications>manage applications>all>superuser.
I cannot understand why you are still not getting a smooth experience from 3.6.2.
I put up a super user 3.0.2 on THIS POST
Good luck.

Thanks. I actually also don't know why I still have glitches when using 3.6.2 version but its way better than 4.1.3 that I flashed the other day. I'm sure there's something I did or should have done so I will not get this glitches like unstable signal, apps force closing.

[Q] Concerning webstar1's new ICS ROM for HTC Sensation

Umm .. yeah. Ain't got 10 post's so i've posted here instead of the ROM's thread >_> Here's the thread specifically: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1406322
My question shouldn't be already on the forum's since the ROM is new, though i did still check the 5 thread's the forum bot thingy suggested. Got nothing.
Anyway, onto my question / problem. Everything works completely fine (few issues with pics loading but then, everyone has that with the new ROM). My current issue is no matter what option i set my screen time out too. Be it via the general Settings > Display > timeout duration or Via the Power saver > screen time out duration (can't find / think of any other places it can be set) my sensation keep's "timing out" at like 20-30 seconds. Which is starting to get annoying when i place my phone down for a bit then have to keep unlocking (spesh when i use the funky Face- recog feature)
Obviously aimed @ webster1 and those using the ROM along with me, but is there a fix for this? I've yet to see anyone else express this "problem" in the thread, unless im jsut blind lol.
Any help will be appreciated to make this killer ROM that much better
Regard's
Oh and yeah, i'm new here, hai =]
Also forgot, if anyone would be kind enough to link this thread in the above lnik to the ROM's thread so my issue can atleast get looked at.
Don't want to spam 10 post's just so i can post in the DEV section >_>
Regards

Ty for the reply, i'll try this tomorrow (going out soon \o/). Can i assume this will also sort out the problem of any music i add to my SD not being reconised in my "norification / Ringtone" screen? I have all the music i had before there when i used factroy ROM, so obviousy can use it. But any new music i add to the SD isnt getting reconised. Even when i use the "add" button in the ringtone screen, which let's you search through your SD and choose files, it still won't add them nor does it appear in my "Music" section when i use the music app.
Also would it be possible for you(or anyone) to link this thread in the one i linked in my OP, that way the dev can see my problem and help me out also.
Again, ty for the reply and any further help =]
I'll be honest, I would just wait for a stable release from HTC. While the ICS roms are great now, they're going to keep having issues like this, or SD card contents not being seen for hours, laggy hardware acceleration, slow app load times, skippy scrolling, etc etc.
It's best to just wait for the time being. I flashed that rom yesterday and had the same issue, along with some of what I listed above, I couldn't find a way to fix it and I tried dalvik/cache wiping, fixing permissions, and reinstalling the rom (twice).

Looks like the RUU has been posted, by RCTeam: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1408961
Reading between the lines it looks like it updates HBOOT and Revolutionary can't do its job. Folks were posting about having to use the HTC unlock method.
Just a FYI.

The scrolling speed and length has been edited by HTC, it has nothing to do with the fact that its an early leak. The scrolling is very likely to stay like that for the official RUU of ICS as well

Can you read the thread properly please. I clearly state that use revolutionary before hand and then running the RUU YOU WILL KEEP S-OFF, but your bootloader with also be locked by HTC, so go to htcdev.com to unlock it in a simple, 5 min procedure

OK, lax on my words, sorry.
I was posting as some one said they wanted to wait until HTC released the ICS RUU. I posted an XDA link that it had. Some people do not want to, nor will ever, use the HTC unlock mechanism.
If it's the same as other threads I've read you lose Fastboot access to the phone which might be a big issue to some. If that info has changed or wrong, I apologise for giving misleading/wrong info.

[Q] anybody got android 4.01 roms?

Hello. I'm semi-bricked so I cannot use android 4.03 roms. They just don't work for me. I loved arhd 5.01 because I thought it would be awful but it isn't. It has epic speech recognition problems though, it just says unfortunately voice search has stopped. It says this for each of the voice needed applications. Does anybody have any other 4.01 roms? Preferably sense but I don't mind
You could try hypernonsense, so smooth, fast and stable.
Is it android 4.01 or gingerbread
Please stop flashing your phone until you know what you are doing. I would think after all of the trouble you had previously after flashing firmware being stuck with s on and your phone being in an unusable state you would have stopped messing with it.
Go back to stock and leave it alone. You are eventually gonna brick it. You need to do a lot of reading so you are not asking for help all day, everyday.

I'm furthermore 'sorry' if i have angered you experienced users but i have not really asked for help with my phone for a while now and i dont intend to. I wasn't posting this to be annoying, I just needed help finding android 4.01 roms and incase anybody else needed them.

Yes I flashed it. I think you should :
1. Flash 3.32 fw
2. Wipe data/ factory reset
3. Wipe cache partition
4. Wipe davlink cache
5.Flash virtuous 4.0.0
6. Reboot
Then if it work you can flash addons, kernels

First download the universal 3.33 firmware then you install it from the bootloader.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
To put the firmware on your device put the pg58img file on root of sd card then reboot into bootloader by removing battery put battery back in, press volume down and power your device will recognize the file and ask to upgrade volume up for yes. It will upgrade then remove the file off the sd card or it will continue to want to update. This is how you install firmware
It seems like a lot but once you do it you won't forget.

Uploading my ROM Question

Hi Guys!
Im newbie on XDA and on android phones this its my fist post.
I just want update my actual rom to the last.
I want to know if i just need flash the device with the update Rom or I have to Install other programs to do that.
my Htc sensation 4G with this specification: ----------------------------
Android 4.0.3
Htc Sense 3.6
With Android Revolution H.D 6.5.4 XE by mike1986
Kernel 3.0.16-v1.30.2
baseband : 11.69.3504.00p
Build: 3.32.401.105
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
thanks!
If you're S off you download the Rom to the root of your sd card. I'm assuming you do have 4ext recovery installed already. Also assuming you have correct firmwares .3.32 or 3.33 installed already . You boot into recovery, wipe cash, wipe dalvik cash, wipe data factory reset, stay in recovery , choose install zip from sd card, scroll down find zip. After installation go to reboot. Your all set, this is how to flash with s OFF. If you're S on you will be doing it differently. See guide flashing roms with s ON. Hope this helps you out and answers your question.
Usually if it's a update to your current Rom, wipe sometimes is not necessary. Follow recommendations from the developer for the update. Wipe if he says wipe, do not if he says not necessary. Hope this helps. You should not have to download any thing else if your already running the Rom. You should be fine. Just download the update of course. Best wishes

Thanks! So helpfull.
Now how i know if my device have S off And 4ext intalled?
Sorry the question im newbie on android.
Well when you rooted your device did you s off? If you are not sure you can remove battery, put back in , press power and volume down at Same time, this will bring you to your bootloader, read the information that is on the device. It will either say soft or s on. As for 4ext recovery, you can download several ways, one of the easiest ways is through the playstore, simply download then when you open it you can install it through there.it is 3 dollars.or xda has the download for free.I highly recommend 4ext recovery. It's very simple to use and flash from! It's really the best in my opnion. So check your device to see if s on then report back please
