CM7 Stable keeps turning off. - HTC Desire S

Recently just shifted from nightly to stable and I think I had this problem on the nightly. My phone constantly keeps switching off by itself. It seems to be whenever I put it in my pocket but I can't prove that as I can't keep my phone anywhere else long enough.
Anyone else getting this?

[Q] Need help again....CM7

I know I have asked before but I haven't seemed to get a good explanation of why or how to fix it. Every so often, sometimes for no apparent reason, my Dinc will reboot and/or get stuck in a rebooting loop. I am running CM7 and it seems to happen most often when I have it charging.
What RC are you running? Are you running a stable version? What phone do you have?
I am running CM7. 0.3 and it is not a nightly. My phone info. is;
Kernel: 2.6. 37.4-cyanogenmod+
Baseband: 2.15. 00.07. 28
Rom: cyanogenmod 7.0. 3-inc
Anything else?

Not sure if it helps the diagnosis or is relevant but after it goes through this fit my LED will stay on. Like this am (about 20 minutes ago it went through the fit, I unplugged it) and my LED has been lit orange ever since?

I think you should try in the official CM dev forum

Radio issues

I've had the skyrocket since it came out. First in black then I exchanged out recently for the white. And on both devices, it seems whenever the screen times out and turns off, my wifi and 4g disconnect and I have to disable then and re-enable them to get them back on...
Anyone else running into this issue? Other than that, the phone is flawless.
It's completely stock by the way running 2.3.5

Seems like you have gremlins, I have flashed numerous ICS roms without the issue you have.

[Q] serious hardware issue

Hey guys,
My beloved nexus s 4g appears to be on It's last leg. After running cm9 stable for weeks without flashing any new roms or kernels it started freezing and locking up randomly. Eventually it started freezing midboot and doing nothing. Sometimes it hung on the splash screen and wouldn't boot. Sometimes it randomly rebooted into recovery out of no where.I tried wiping everything and starting clean, same issue. Most often, it will freeze after being asleep for a while and lock up when I press the power button
I tried running stock, same issues.
I tried relocking and unrooting, same issues.
I tried raising the voltages of clock speeds, same issue.
I have noticed if it's plugged in to a charger, it works perfectly. Any chance It's just a bad battery or something else?
Thanks for any advice guys and gals

Very strange...
RU insured? If so then swap it.
Have u tried to run a logcat to see if it shows anything after reboots?
I think batteries are like $10 bucks or so... or just go to phone store and tell them ur issue and use one if their batteries... but of course you'll need to be back to stock in case they check it
Good luck

It could be the battery not giving you appropriate voltage. I'd buy a replacement. At worst you're out of 10$, at best you Nexus S works.
Not insured. Upgraded to evo 3d, but I miss the nexus. I love the pure Google and form factor of the ns. Gonna try buying a new battery. Thanks gang

Phone issue

Currently the phone is on CM10, but this would happen on any rom. The phone is frozen with the bottom 4 touch buttons lit up. The only way to fix it is a battery pull and power the phone back on. Not sure what is causing this, but would like to know if anyone has found a fix for this issue yet. Thanks.
Its a known bug in CM10 and probably not a hardware problem. CM10 is still a beta (though a very good one) and quirks like this are expected.
Some versions of cm10 are more stable than others. Ive been using the 8 - 14 build and it has a minimal amount of freezing like this.

Thank god
My phone has the same issue, I thought it was H/W issue because I accidentaly dropped my phone very often. Glad to know it's just a rom bug, or I'll have to buy myself a new phone.
It was happening on stock ics also though. Did you guys see that on stock also?
Set your min cpu to 384Mhz, That fixed mine for sure.
