Is there anyone who has some spare time to create and maintain free irc channel so we can communicate easily? This thread is probably going to fail, but anyway - just suggesting....

I have set-up a irc channel for the Sensation. I set it up for a number of reasons. It allows users with issues to stop by the channel and get "instant" help from a dev or more experienced user. For Devs it gives them a place to go to get testers immediately for roms/apps they are working on. We have one for the moto xoom and all the devs come in there when they have things that need to be tested. I know it has made the dev's life easier for the xoom because whenever he needs someone to test there is usually someone available. My goal is to make this channel a great resource for devs, testers and power users to come together and share ideas etc... I'm also looking for a few trustworthy people to become mods in the channel. (Established devs always get mod access)
The channel is on freenode irc. #HTC-Sensation
if you dont have an IRC client you can access the channel by going to webchat.freenode.net
Now that people are getting the sensation stop by the channel!!
Normally this would belong in general, but right now the dev section is high-traffic thanks to the Rogers GB release and there is a lot of activity connected with the development effort on IRC.
Multiple devs here have received "why am I banned" PMs, and the threads here are cluttered with them.
We had a troll in the channel last night that was severely hampering development and testing efforts. The troll was using webchat and it seems that it is impossible to ban a webchat user effectively without outright banning ALL webchat users.
So if you are using webchat to access IRC, you will get a message that you are banned when attempting to enter #infuse4g on irc.freenode.net . As a result, you need to run a native IRC client on your machine such as xchat, Quassel, mIRC, irssi - the list of choices is quite long. Just not webchat.
Make sure to register and identify your nickname so no one else can jack it.

Thanks for the reminder.
To start the process, once in IRC:
"/msg nickserv register" - nickserv will msg you back with more details.
Just wondering, do we have an IRC channel set up anywhere? I don't seem to see one on freenode anywhere (where most of the other XDA-related IRC channels seem to be set up).
If there isn't one, should we make one? It'd be nice to talk about WP7 and the Arrive without getting mocked constantly by all the iOS and Android users.
Hi people,
I was trying to create a new Slack community for Android developers. Here the link to get in https://android-people.herokuapp.com/
If you like you can jump in to exchange ideas and discuss some problems.
Hello all,
Due to lack of time, I'm unable to test my builds. I'd really appreciate it if people turn up for this and actively test.
Requirements:
1) Experience flashing ROMs.
2) Knowledge about debugging, essentially logcats. -Absolutely necessary.
Those who wish to help, please do join my tester base group in Telegram. I'll be leaving the link to join the group here.
You can join the group using the following link. Do not spam:

P.S. Logcat is not rocket science. Anyone can manage it.
A good thread for learning the same can be seen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726238
Hope to see some participation around.
Cheers
