No my sister has an iPhone and my mom an older pantech. I'm the only one with miui.

Again, None of you are getting calls
If thats the case, thats your answer....NO WAY 3 phones are all bad.
Well we will get maybe 1/5 calls. And texts are coming in hours after they are sent to us. Its on all the phones.

and also is this everywhere.....work, home, driving, stores, ect. or just in certain areas.
sounds like a network problem in your area i have used miui lots and never had any problem with getting calls/txt etc etc
well switch back to stock and see if the issue still persist. if it does, call att.

But its happening on THREE different phones.....i know you know the probability that all three phones are bad is Super Crazy.
ehhh who knows though.....its trial and error my friend.
I called at&t and they said they are doing updates to different things and its gonna make the network flip out.

If you have issues like that on everyone's phone in the same area, first thing to always do is call att.

Oh yeah. Tell your sis to disable 3g and see if 2g(edge) works. If it doesnt then u have a severly degraded tower in your area

Awesome...thats because not everyone wants to give there TB a BJ everyday
if you give me your thunderbolt ill give you $150 and one used htc evo. it also has 4g which is awesome if you're near a tower and out in an open field nowhere near a building. also the 3g is worse than a 56k modem but its okay the network is gonna be good some day.

I second this, great price every month, tho verizon with my company discount is honestly about the same, but the 3G/4G was terrible, and everyone trying to sell me that in home cell module thing, that only helps phone calls, because it would fix my "4G" and therefor I shouldn't leave them. Left them same day for a Thunderbolt with verizon, and in there survey asking why I left, I explained that every employee I talked to was a moron.
Did I also mention I had a Sprint "Manager" start cursing me out because I called him an idiot for telling me the only way I can get 4G is to have my phone off for about 12 hours straight every day?

Anybody know if it would be a problem on verizons end that i am getting multiple duplicate text messages?
Just started today, done nothing different to my phone.
It's an ongoing issue that effects a few people, it's a network thing. My boss has this happen on his stock tb all the time. I'm yet to experience it though

Not a problem at all.
He called vzw to complain and they said there were aware of it. People he was sending messages to were sometimes getting 2 or 3 copies, #annoying.

I too have been getting duplicates. However, 7/10 of the time, it has been coming from the same person on AT&T using an iPhone.

I get duplicate texts from about five different people, all with android phones, all on Verizon. My Sprint friends tend to lose the texts most of the time ^_^

No problem with 4g here. Sometimes a battery pull will help in those situations. If haven't tried that already.

This explains why my 4g keeps going in and out. I bet it stems from that earthquake.
one should take into account that Verizon is the only carrier actively rolling out 4G. Growing pains is a given. getting upset only gives you a tummy ach. call and report it they will get it fixed.. I am only defending them because I just came over from ATT and the difference is night and day! if you want a truly bad experience hang out on an ATT network for a while, then call customer support and listen to them tell you "deal with it".. then you will appreciate the Sprints, and the Verizons.

T-Mobile have been having service issues according to the representative everything should be up and running in the next few days.

I tried GR and used it for some hours and same thing. My sister is stock Froyo and is having issues too but my gf and dad live in different region and they are not having problems so I guess it is a problem with the carrier and my area.

You can try using the TMo Galaxy Note radio. It works very well for me. Here's the link:

I've personally used AOKP, CM 10.1 Nightly, and Root box and ran with the Galaxy note Radio and its be amazing. But I would say it depends on where you live.

is the radio the one linked Here a few posts up? coz it is showing UCLI3 ATT, and I was on that one before. switched to UVLG3 but still showing "E" instead of H+ for 4g. pretty sure we have 4g here. speed isn't too bad though

You made a huge mistake switching to tmobile!!
There is nothing called "combo" when it comes to using Skyrocket with t mobile (and in my opinion it makes things worse as you might have to troubleshoot both sides radio and rom problems) ... It is just the radio that can be fine or not depending on the area , and in some areas now t mobile switched their data freq to 1900Mhz so even stock UCLF6,UCLI3 or UCLL3 can work , including 4G

I'm stuck with Edge with no home WiFi. long story... I'm PO'd but in my marriage I pick my battles, fighting about mobile network is futile imo.

Ah I see. Good luck with tmo, my gf has had them for a while. Some areas get decent service but it sucks when traveling. It's always way slower than att everywhere we are.

Even if it's not for you , but I must say I've been with the BYOD att SIM from ST now for a year and never had a problem, calls and data are exactly like when I was on att .... Tried tmobile prepaid before and it sucks endlessly...I can't comment on what your neighbors think since I can know what's their background , at least the technical aspects.

was on ATT now switching to tmo.
still checking if i'll get sigbal where i will be most of my days. i dnt travel a lot so i'm not worried about signal other than home and workplace and in between. good thing i work only a mile away from home in same city.
