[Q] Connect Midi Keyboard Via -->USB<-- to My ASUS Transformer tablet

I'd like to figure out how to connect my Yamaha MIDI keyboard to my Asus tf101 tablet for recording via hardwired USB.
I've scoured the web looking for an app or solution to this and have come up generally blank, I've tried all the free midi controller apps, but they only seem to support Wifi or Bluetooth, which my keyboard is unable to do.
I'd like to eliminate my computer as a middleman (If I'm at my computer I'd just use that) and be able to use my tablet to record on the go!
Any ideas/thoughts/help/wisdom/proverbs/ninjas would be greatly appreciated
Device Info:
ASUS Transformer tf101 running
ICS 4.0.3 Rooted
I have the dock with 2 USB 2.0 ports that I am connecting to the connecter with.
Cable:
Amazon: USB MIDI Input Output Cable Converter PC Notebook
Works fine on computer and no issues so far via usb.
Thanks!

Can anyone help me?

[Q] Connect LG P880 to Asus TF700

Today I got the origin ASUS 40 Pin USB Connector. Now I would like to connect my LG P880 via usb data cable to the Infinity (for data transfer), but no connection is detected/available. Any other USB Device is find by the Infinity, but my phone will not be listed in any kind of explorer.
Any Ideas?

[Q] Kayboard Dock USB port

I just bought USB type A to Type A cable with hope to be able to view the share folder in my Asus TF700 via keyboard dock however I could not get it work. These are the tests:
1. use USB type A to type A cable connected between tf700 keyboard dock's USB port and my PC USB -> NOT working, unable to detect any storage folder
2. use portable HDD and connect it to the tf700 keyboard dock's USB port - NO PROBLEM. the TF700 is able to detect my USB storage
3. use the original USB charger (40 pin) cable from Asus and connect the other end (USB) to my PC. NO PROBLEM it works and this is how I transfer the files so far.
Does anyone know if the test 1 above should work?
thanks
I do not think it should work, because the USB port on our dock is a USB Host -- it's designed to make USB memory and external harddisks available to the system, not the other way around. That's why the 40-pin interface does that.

[Q] TF700 Dock 40pin connector problem

Hi,
I bought a TF700KL (LTE version) tablet with a dock. I have a problem with it.
If I connect the tablet to the PC without the keyboard dock using the 40pin cable (which I got with the package) then the tablet asks for connection type and the PC recognize the device and installing the drivers. In the notification bar of the tablet I see the usual USB message (debugging enabled, etc.) That seems OK.
However If I put the tablet in the dock and connect the dock to the PC with the same cable then the tablet doesn''t ask for connection type and the PC doesn''t install any driver or recognize any new device. In the notification bar of the tablet I don''t see any USB related message (debugging enabled or other messages). But on the tablet the Asus battery widget says that the charger is connected. Therefore I can''t connect the tablet with the keyboard dock to the PC.
Android version: 4.1.1
Build number: JRO03L.WW_epad-V5.0.4.13-20130424
Pad EC version: PAD-EC20K-0106
MobileDock version: DOCK-EC20N-0207
Did someone notice this problem? Or is something wrong with my dock? Or is there any settings for that?
Thx for the help.

I have no problems with the TF700T in this matter, but if I recall correctly the hardware/rom are different enough that you really can't apply what works/doesn't work between them.. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I am sure someone will know more.
Hello gerpetya,
i also own an TF700KL and i have the same problem as you.
But, i narrow it down to an problem with the tablet.
A Friend of mine owns an TF300 something and the docks are compatible, so we testet his tablet in my dock, and it works as expected.

Asus TF700 not recognized by windows 10 PC

I have a stock TF700 that refuses to be recognized by my PC. I have tried multiple cables to no avail. I also updated all usb drivers for the computer usbs'. Also the pins in the connection look in order. All possible android and asus sync programs have been uninstalled as well. The tablet still charges and recognizes that it is in the keyboard dock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: The 40-pin connector was the problem the device after all. I tested another TF700 on my computer and it connected right away, so as far as I can tell the TF700 has no problems connecting to a Windows 10 PC. If you get a code 43 on a Windows device when trying to connect your TF700 it is most likely a problem with your 40-pin connection on the device.
