So i was browsing through the threads and came across something called HTC CAMERA
learnd that it can make your camera settings better or something like that
so i wanted to know WHAT IS THE NEWEST HTC CAMERA APP FOR WIZARD?
Hey i have a HD7 and Omnia 7. One thing im missing on Omnia is the Sound Enhancer. Would any devs be willing to make an Dolby/SRS WOW app for non HTC phones or modifiy the HTC app for other phones?
Id be sure to donate a few $$ for it.
Mods move it if its in the wrong place. Sorry
Evo
This functionaly is implemented using htc's proprietary drivers. Sound echancer just uses it's api to control it.
Well either way i would love to see a SRS WOW app or something.
The sound quality isnt bad but it lacks a decent equalizer management.
This might seem like a stupid question, but having recently switched over from the HD2, I'd like to know what's new in the Sensation. I've noticed a few things such as the connected media app and that the phone is more powerful, but I can do everything I can do on the Sensation on my old smashed HD2, which is now more or less my dedicated media player.

As an ex HD2 owner/addict, the sensation was the ONLY smart choice for upgrading to the current gen of hardware. The HD2 was amazing in its hayday, but its time has come. I suggest keeping it as a pda/media player and for the love of flashing some amazing roms
The ONLY significant change was the hardware, considering you can have 3.0 roms on the HD2 that have pretty much the exact same features
Hdmi out and dnla are prolly the best "new" features for you. Video calling is a nice one too, I use it soooo much now that I have a ffc

I sitll have my HD2, running the new Coredroid rom (now it is fantastic), without SIM Card.
HTC Sensation is much better in many things, like camera, vĂdeo, faster browser, better graphics resolution, faster mobile network transfer data, processor power and others.
But HD2 battery is MUCH, MUCH better than this little thing wich powering Sensation.
There are a lot of ex HD2 owners, because came to HTC Sensation is a natural evolution.
In time: remember HD2 was made for run WM 6.5, but everyone became its fan running Android.
Whatever.
As the last guy said there is a natural pregression from the HD2 to the Sensation. As im sure most of you do as well I have a backup phone which happens to be a HD2. Well three of them but I work on phones but thats besides to point.
Since there still isnt a solid cyanogen rom ready for the sensation I still find myself shutting down the sensation and pulling the card out to go right back in the good old HD2. with a big smile as it boots up with that beautiful aqua blue of the always solid, always stable HD2 running Typhoon Cyanogen rom. sorry for the rambling I am just still very happy with my HD2(s).
I agree, I'm still very happy with my HD2 minus the smashedness, but it's still very usable, and I still do on a day-to-day basis.
I don't know about you guys, but I feel pretty let down by the DLNA...
I can connect to my...
Windows 7 notebook (through Windows Media Player)
Xbox 360 (Win7 notebook has to be running + picture streaming only)
I can't connect to my...
Xbox 360 (without running my notebook, can't stream audio or video)
Windows XP netbook (running old WMP, might work with WMP update)
HTC HD2
to be honest, I never knew much about DLNA before I tried it on my Sensation - I was hoping to be able to stream media between all those devices, bit of a disappointment really.
What about the MHL link? I don't quite understand it, I've read it up on Wikipedia but it didn't clarify things. So from what I understand, it's a cable with micro-USB on one end (for the phone), and HDMI on the other end (for your TV, or whatever) - what I was interested in finding out, is if there's an inexpensive way for people that don't have HDTVs to use it? Would it be possible for me to get a cable that goes to scart or one of those yellow, red + white type cables?
The extra power is nice, but the HD2 can still run all the games my Sensation can. In fact, I was a little disappointed when I tried to run Rocket Bunnies & Space Bunnies on my Sensation - they ran, but kept freezing, they run very well on my HD2, but it's no fun when it's smashed.
You can't compare them one has windows 6,5 and the other the sensation has android
I also switched sold it for 180 and bought the sensation 4g for 150+. I am Sso happy I did. The screen is perfect for one handed use. Not like the hd2. And higher resolution is beautiful. And the power button is at the top so I don't accidentally turn it on in my pocket and text/call people. Ahhh I do miss wp7 tho, I loved switching back and forth. I might just leave android for the mango update but well see.

I have a friend who has found that everything implemented with Point attenuation will look like a blurry mess on devices from HTC and LG. This happens on even the newest devices from HTC, like HTC Desire HD. Why is it like this? Haven't they implemented Android in the right way?
Is it possible to port the HTC Rezound rom to the Sensation? The reason I'd like to see this is because it has Sense 3.5 with native beats audio. A rom with native beats audio sounds A LOT better than a rom with the beats add on. For example, the stock Sensation XE rom by EddyOS sounds a lot better than any of these other roms with beats audio that just use an add on. It would be great to have the best of both worlds with an HTC Rezound rom, or even a Sensation XL rom.
same question
And what would be the advantage from an Rezound Port instead of the SensationXE Port from EddyOS? Ok, it has Sense 3.5.
But we'll see Sense 3.5 (or maybe Sense 4.0?) with our update to ICS...
The cookers would have to adjust the resolution (Rezound has 720p) and change the Kernel because of different hardware. Beside that, i see no really advantage of "original" Beats Audio (the version from EddyOS isn't "original" at all, the "original" Beats Audio Software only supports Beats Headphones) instead of an addon.
The resizing costs a much of time, so i dont think that there'll be a Rezound Port for Sensation.
