Nope no htc roms other very good ones though

Never ever going to happen .

wrong section too. you can Faux-Sense you infuse. thats about it.

Since the infuse doesn't use Qualcomm hardware or have open source drivers it is very difficult, plus most people who buy Samsung dislike sense or they would have bough an inspire.
Both sense and touch wiz needed specific kernels to run, a port would mean some bastard of a kernel and tons of hours of workarounds and trial and error, most developers with the skills wouldn't be interested. The galaxy s had a port but I don't know how functional it was and it had a specific kernel, our kernel is different from the galaxy s so even with that add a guide it will still take work. Don't count on ever seeing it happen.

Faux-Sense it... just graphics really... and for the widgets. Some are available in the market, if not all of them. the launcher use HeLauncher it has the Sense dock

[Q] Port HTC Kingdom (Sense 3.0) Rom To Captivate

O.K., so i know that not that many people would want sense on their phones, but some poeple out there would, especially if its sense 3.0, poeple say that its not that possible , but someone on the forums did, but is an older version of sense ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=827769 ) but i think that it would become very popular in the forums, and c'mon, why do htc phones get all of the good roms?! anyways hope someone can port sense 3.0 for the captivate community.
Imo, it's outdated.
3.0 is quite a bit different from 1.0 and 2.0 builds. HTC isn't even going to allow their current phones upgrade to it(that includes Incredible 2 and Thunderbolt). I imagine a 3.0 theme wouldn't be difficult, but a 3.0 ROM might be more trouble than it's worth, considering that Sense is pretty lag-tastic as it is.
One of the biggest issues is that HTC uses alot of closed source drivers and stuff for sense. As for why they get all the good Roms, well HTC is more user freindly then say Samsung or Motorola.

Sense 2.1 on sensation...possible?

Title explains it all really, I'm wondering if its even possible to port sense 2.1 to the sensation.
I like sense 3 and all but its just not stable, I would prefer to have sense 2....I miss my desire hd became of it.
But obviously this phone has many hardware advancements so I wanted to see if it was possible to have sense 2 on it, then its like the best of both worlds
should be possible since its a sense rom but id say a new kernel would be needed?
Possible ? Sure, but I don't think that You'll find a developer which will try to port 2.1 on a device already coming with Sense 3.0.
Sense 2.1 is only build for older devices and not for sensation for evo. 3d

[Q] Will Sense 3.5 apks work with earlier versions of Sense?

I'm thinking about trading my Nexus for a shift since I used to have one and I liked it better than what I have.
The only thing is that I REAALLLLYY like the new Sense 3.5, but there's currently no full rom port for the shift. So, my question is... can the 3.5 apks (like ereader, widgets, and such...) be installed on the shift with a MikRom running Sense 2.1 and 3.0?
Just wondering, bc if so I am definitely getting the shift. I miss Sense, even though I barely used it when I had the shift and the evo, I still liked to have it as an option.
So, again, can Sense 3.5 apks work on a rom with a previous version of Sense?
Great ?. Lets try and see!
Sent from my PG06100 using XDA App
They may or may not work. I'd make a Nand before you try, Mik's Roms are odexed. But if you like Sense 3.5 . You might want to check out Supreme Sense. It's a mix of Sense 2.1 and a whole lot of 3.0, including the 3.0 Rotating Rosie.

[Q] ROMS?

Im new here and I was just wondering if someone could tell me if there were any ICS roms that arent themed at all or stripped of sense or have any cutomizations added to the developer of the rom.Im basically looking for A rom that looks like the galaxy nexus as close as possible
Link in my sig for Virtuous Inquisition...
Ohh looks like I said it wrong in my description,Im looking for a ROM as close to as the software found on the galaxy nexus.
i'm not aware of anything as complete as the Nexus' build of ICS that is available for the sensation (but that doesn't mean there won't be as long as all these lovely developers keep themselves hard at work).
might want to give virtuous inquisition or hypernonsense a look.

As the top line subject thingy asks... is it possible to port HTC Sense to the Samsung Infuse?
I've read articles about sense being ported to the galaxy phones..
Help me understand better?

Possible? Perhaps- it would require kernel change on a large scale and considering it has not yet been done during the time since the Infuse was released, not likely to be done. I believe I have seen a Sense theme somewhere, that's as close as it gets.
maybe over the new aosp kernels. way too much work over a stock rom. you would have to start with a nexus sense port and make changes from there. but remember there are still samsung libs and other blobs in our aosp so sense might not interface with that stuff very well. it has been done on the sgs with atleast partial success so i'd say it's possible but most people that like sense buy htc phones.. honestly i don't think it really offers anything over ics and jelly bean.
i know you can get a sense launcher over ics if that would satisfy you. maybe the widgets can be ported too but full sense might be a project.
