[ROM][S5670] Galaxy DX (Update)

My First ROM
Galaxy DX
Benefit of installing this ROM:

This File Doesn't Work Via Recovery. See the method below. HOW TO GET ROOTED: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156204
Steps to Install:
1.Download the file (Do not Extract)
2.Download Android Commander and then set it up for use
3.Connect your mobile to your PC. Make sure of USB Debugging
4.In the toolbar in android commander there is flash option click it. Select the update file.
5.Flash it
6.Reboot.

Downloading..is it just another deodexed rom like v have pratyush's vishvanath's inv athority's or it has any added feature..well im using pratyush rom with kak tweak and supercharger script and score upto 1540 which ranked 2nd interms of performance..guys we actually need somw performance tweaks not just another deodexd rom..we need 2 overclock our device to get most out of it..

aftr step 4 i didnt got wht u said how to flash
there is no option in android commander to flash etc
i did click on flash nothing hpnd

Here im attaching screens of antutu benchmark 1st one is my screens with score and second one is screen of winner's score..sd card speed i can also increase its not a big deal but the he get 130+ in cpu float point and mine is just 17 ..can anybody tell how he did that

i think that this rom need more work from u before posting it
at least make it load via recovery and fix the installation problems too

[Deodexed][Rom][2.3.6] for DDKT1 !!

This is a basic deodexed update.zip for samsung galaxy fit " DDKT1 "
What does it do ?
1. Deodexes your ROM (removes .odex files and saves internal space)*
2. Roots your phone and adds superuser.(latest)
3. If you have flashed a theme and want to revert back to default stock theme then flash it.
4. Deletes all the installed apps and retores the factory apps.
5. Will update all d Apps
6. New version of market added (much Faster)
How to Installation :-
1. Download the file for DDKT1 from HERE
2. Place it in the root of the sdcard.(not in any folder)
3. Flash it via recovery.
4. Do a factor reset (if u want)
NOTE :-
1. Make sure you are using it on DDKT1

hey raj...how to stop that service msg reply tone means the network reply after we text someone comes...that following last msg cost you this much n so..if silent it vibrates yaar and its annoying how to stop that?????this was in xwkq2 also but not in ddkq5 and now they got this in ddkt1...any one knows how to stop it did system sound to zero and never vibrate also??????

yes i will n root file is 1 for all d roms if u all need i can make a thread for rooting n unrooting without changing d rom

Guys I am a complete noob
and i am bored by the orignal look of android
I need something new
My friend also has an android phone.So he rooted that deodexed, new rom
So i need to ask can i root this phone ?
Which rom is the best to install after rooting ?
i upgraded my phone to xxkpq with my friends help. Now i dont know what to do?

hey dude u can try to install. a good kernel with cwm (clock work mod)....a very important tool to customize your phone....then download a custom rom of your choice from the development section (see that ur firmware matches that of the rom) ....follow the instructions there and you will have a full customized phone as most c-roms are pre rooted and deodexed .....when you learn more and get used to the phone you can try miui or cm (but that is for later ...) .......since ur on kpq u can try Poseidon or vurrut roms (Ive used them and they're nice)....

Its Simple
i am using Poseiden's ROM
How to Install it :-
Backup ur apps, Contacts, Messages.
a) U'll need CWM (i use [CF-Root] by Ganesh u get here for XXKPQ)
1) Flash this *.tar file as a PDA in Odin
b) Downlad Poseiden ROM from here or here
1) Copy this zip file to ur external SD Card
2) Goto Recovery Mode Install the zip file from ur external SD Card
3) after installation setup will reboot to recovery mode, wipe Cache & DALVIK CACHE
Done

[Q] Cwm without hardware keys

Heyho peoples
I have a problem..
Yesterday i destroyd the flex cable of my volume Keys...
I ordered a new one in the internet but till i get it i dont know how to start cwm?? Im on pankai's 4.0.4 version and there is no option to boot in the recovery mode.. Btw. Can i use cwm without hw buttons???

I think I have a temporary solution for your problem, plz check back in a few minutes!

You can enter recovery through Rom Manager. You will find it in play store.
And flash CWM touch (little buggy).. you wont need hard buttons temporarily.

As far as your query is concerned, this is what you can try in the meanwhile:
1. Go to this thread and download the CWM v6.0.1.1 Touch Recovery by adam77root.
Note: Download the ODIN flashable package. Here's the direct link
2. Download and install CWM Manager apk (attached).
3. From that app boot into download mode.
4. Then flash the downloaded CWM recovery.tar thru ODIN. (I hope u know how to do that! If not go here and follow the guide from step 5:good
6. Once successfully flashed boot into the new touch recovery thru CWM manager installed on your phone each time you want!

You can boot in to Download mode also buddy using this app......

Yup CWM manager has an option for that!:good:
EDIT : if that doesn't work, just download the CWM flashable zip file of CWM touch from the above thread I mentioned and rename it to update.zip. Then flash it through CWM manager (It has an option to flash update.zip). Be sure to put the update.zip in the root of ur sdcard and not inside any other folder . Then u can use CWM manager to boot into recovery!

I don't know if CWM manager works with the 6.0.1.1 since if I'm not wrong it was made for 3.x and 4.x version. But you can use the touch interface and this is what you're looking for.

I did not try to flash the zip, but I opened the zip and installed the launcher and other applications myself and they work flawlessly. So great job here!
If you could, it would be better that you make another flashable zip that loads the stock ROMs launcher back and undo all the settings of your Xperia zip. This would be helpful for people wanting to switch back but are dumb enough to never make a backup before trying out something new.
