How to get Ä&Ö working on nordic dock? - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got my dock today but i have this problem that when i press Ä or Ö i get ´´´´´ those marks (one per press not all in once) and whit Ö i get ;;;; (those kind of marks) is there some settings ect?
Ps. is it safe to recharge eee pad via dock (what i have read is that there could come some light bleeding when screen burns??)
Thanks!

You need to set your keyboard to Nordic. With the latest update you should have a small keyboard icon on the task bar with the relevant options. When I have the tablet docked I switch to Nordic (I have the Nordic keyboard) and when undocked I switch to English (UK).
I don't understand your second question. What's charging got to do with light bleed?

The British keyboard has a " on the 2 and the @ is by the right shift button.
I had to delete all 3rd party keyboards I had installed before it would work.
Just selecting the ASUS one as the default would not work for me.
nope. just click on the keyboard icon if/when it appears in the status bar (it seems a bit hit and miss) and you can then set the specific keyboard type for the hardware keyboard
Yeh I had the same problem before I got the keyboard update tonight. All fixed now.

Keyboard keeps reverting to Chinese

Hey everyone!
I decided to hand in my transformer to the Asus service centre nearest to me for the battery drain issue, turns out they can't fix it and I need to send it into a bigger service centre for it to be taken care of. (anyways thats another story)
When I got my tablet back, I found that when browsing with my dock in a little black box would pop up to say 'English' (as it does when you turn it on and after a while browsing it pops up 'in Chinese Characters' and every character typed would come out as chinese. This didn't happen at all before.
I dug around a little and found when the keyboard is removed the on-screen keyboard now has an option at the bottom below the keyboard, that turns it into chinese.
And I found it is only when using the Asus keyboard (in settings -> language & input) and when I change it to the Android one it doesn't happen.
I don't like the Android keyboard (also lacks swype) and am much better typing on the Asus keyboard.
Can anyone please help? It is now impossible browsing the web when I have it set to my Asus keyboard as everything comes out in chinese
I'm going to assume you tried a factory reset?

[Q] Replacement keys - keyboard dock

I bought my tf300t in portugal whilst on holiday and was wondering whether it is possile to replace the keys on the keyboard instead of buying a whole new keyboard. Setting my keyboard layout in Portuguese creates a few problems especially with Swiftkey and it is different to work laptops so my fingers get confused.

[Q] Greek Accents with Keyboard Dock

Hey everyone,
After the most recent firmware update (a few days ago) I've noticed that when I'm using the keyboard dock and the ASUS Greek Keyboard selection, I can no longer get accent marks over vowels. Used to you could press the semicolon key and it would type the accent mark and highlight it, then when you typed a vowel, the accent mark would be put over the vowel. It no longer does this though, just puts in an accent mark like a thin apostrophe. The diaeresis accent (two small dots) still works normally though when doing SHIFT+semicolon.
Any ideas? I can use the accents fine with the on screen keyboard, but I'd rather use the dock like I'd been doing.

There is some issue with Asus keyboard and the keyboard doc, can you switch to use Android keyboard to see if your problem resolved?

[Q] Keyboard UK

I've done a search, and although the bug with the backspace key on the keyboard dock not working correctly after a JB update I can't find any other posts about the problem I am experiencing.
I have a UK spec 64Gb TF700 bought from Amazon UK that includes the keyboard dock.
I don't like the Asus on screen keyboard and to avoid the annoying backspace bug I prefer to use the Android keyboard. However if I use anything other than the Asus keyboard as default, the '@' key moves to the number '2' key and the number '3' key becomes '#' instead of '£'.
The system and keyboard languages are all set to UK English. I did have Swype installed but have done a complete factory reset to try to cure this annoying problem so now only have the Asus and Android default keyboards showing in Language & Input settings.
The tf700 is stock running JB and not rooted, anyone please put me out of my misery to cure this....?
