[Bootscreen] Galaxy S Bootscreen

Disclaimer!!!!! I did not make this! I simply extracted it from this theme, and then signed it and made it flashable! I figured I'd post it here though since I'd gotten a few requests for it though. Just flash this from recovery, and you will replace your bootscreen with this slick Galaxy S one. This is from CM!!!! Any version of CM, but only CM Enjoy!

I've never seen a custom bootscreen with aospmod... they're all black... I'll make sure to specify for CM in the OP Sorry about that, just an aospmod limitation

no the files there is for kb5 then kd1 and the update is the kd1 kernel
the gb source for the t959v for gb is not released the zip file will be called gingerbread

So...until Samsung releases it...is it possible to extract the source? I know you are working on something....just didn't know what that reallyl meant.
Just seems that octaine/valhala...would be better than the official 2.3.6 which is probably behind anyway compared to your work (and others).

Yeah we'll finally get a standard working ground for all custom roms instead of playing catch up with samsung's rom leaks.

Looks like the GB KJ6 source is released now.

MIUI Going Open Source

I know this has been posted in other sections of XDA, for other phones, and being discussed in the MIUI thread itself, but just in case you didn't know, this is potentialy awesome.

I like certain aspects of MIUI myself (system setting anyone? freaking awesome!), but since I live in a "better than average 4G" area, I don't use it.
This might change everything.
Discuss? Interest? Opinions? Further information?

Best of luck. I love MIUI on my g2 back then. I always followed the devs work on the phone. So many haters said it would not work but now MIUI is a supported Rom for the g2.

So I finally was able to get it to build...
I used Valhalla final to work with.... Seems like most of the apps FC and the status bar is not working yet. I am going to try flashing to a stock rom with stock kernels and build a rom and see how that works....

Im not sure about the xda app but the tapatalk app sometimes doesnt show a respond/post option and the only way to reply is quoting somebody. But IIRC the tapatalk one shows the links. Its easy to backspace delete them.
Still no reason to quote like that. Especially when you only post one word replies...I mean just hit thanks and be done with it.

I am going to wait for either joemeister&TopProspect or Silver's builds. I loved Bouyancy GB by joemeister, except for a weird keyboard revert bug. For now, the stock ICS is alot of fun to play with. I should be in bed right now. Phone priority seems to be above sleeping tonight.

no i broke a few things when i fixed wi fi the ability to actually gasp use the sd card and adb lol ill have it fixed

Do the leak and AOSP mean that we are getting cm9 any quicker?
I also know that guesstimating is far from accurate on the subject, but anyone care to do so?

Let's just say all of this makes the job a whole lot easier. Can't give any guesses about an ETA, but that's the nature of CM. It comes out when it comes out, and asking for an ETA won't make that any sooner.

I can't seem to get rid of that little line up top on the sig, I created this one from scratch and it still shows up. Any idea?
I also added the png of the sig I worked on so you can see if it's something in photoshop I might be screwing up
