Hello,
I bought this battery for my HTC Desire.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140589130682?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Anyone know their performance??
According to the seller's feedback seems to be a good product for the price.
Thanks in advance
It's a real piece of junk!
Hello,
Yesterday I received this battery and it is not good!
It's bigger than the original and with so much force can be put in place.
To remove it was necessary to use a screwdriver, because with the nail proved to be impossible.
The battery in question is this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140589130682?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
It's a real piece of junk!

Well, I've gone ahead and pulled the trigger on an extended battery and back cover for my S710 since I got it used and the battery is half way after a full day usage and I need more since I'm not always near a charger for a few days - though I am happy it can charge via miniUSB since most people have one for their digital cameras.
So I shall update once I receive it and we shall see truly how uncomfortable it will be with the larger battery door. And it was only $25 shipped on eBay. 2250mAh of goodness will soon be arriving.

you mind putting up some pictures of how it looks with the extended battery? side views, and comparisons with the orgiinal side by side shots if possible.
oh and what kind use do you use it for, do you have bluetooth on, wifi on? or both off? etc.

I have mine already a couple of days. By mistake they send me the wrong lid , I got the one from the S630. Wow, what a biiiig device that is. I'm happy having a Vox
So, they immediately send me another cover, waiting for it now to arrive....
Woah, looks big with the extended battery and cover on it, lol. Hopefully it's still useable. birdibird, when you get your cover - post up some pics, also if you could tell us where you got it, how much and if your new cover still has the rubbery HTC feel to it (when it arrives).
I'll post up some pics of mine when it comes in!
I was wondering how many days of use do you have with those 2250-2300MAh batteries??
I read that someone bought them from megacapacity, others from eBay, others from gpsforless, and others from BoxWave
Can we make list from what of those batteries bought from where, went good and waht went bad?? also advising the other from wich ebayers we should not buy?
Is it allowed by the forum's rules?
Think it would be usufull to everyone
I bought one from eBay and one from BoxWave. They are both the exact same thing. I also still have mine for sale, used for roughly one week. The only subtle issue with them both - is that the contact pads are recessed too much. I had to pad them with copper in order for the pins on the Vox to reach properly. You can also pull the pins out of the Vox a few mm which will assist.
Thanks H4waii
for your cooperation!
ANy other experiences?? Fro what I remeber you where quite a few who bought an extended battery...
Hello! I use extended battery for about a year. What to say... It gives me a chance not to think bout battery at last one day using Vox (calls, GPRS, music, reading and also playing games).
To say, I'm going to buy one more extended battery, because ... I like my Vox but such battery can disappear from the market...
I'm looking for batterys on ebay (mine is Qtek 8310, I supose it has the same battery that tornado). Not too much trust in 2200 mAh batteries. Has someone tested them?
I think the best choice is this one
http://cgi.ebay.es/Battery-for-HTC-...ryZ75446QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Thanks!
I usually use a car battery strapped to my back. Sure it's a little heavy, but I pick up lots of chicks because of it.
I expect to receive a 2200 mAh battery these days (GPS-usage drains my standard 1100 mAh battery quite quickly), after testing I'll post my experiences.

Plz, plz post a picture - best the one with the extra entenna on your hat!
No - seriously, if you don't get the original spare (for much more $) I think you can take anything from ebay for that little money. I see you choosed one with all the overheating, short circuit, etc. protection - can't be wrong if it is true.

Hi,
I actually have a 2200mah battery to sell, was going to put it on ebay tomorrow but I can do a straight paypal transaction if your interested. I got 3 batterys with my tornado and I really dont need them. I have 1 standard battery as well if anyone is interested. Both work fine, I tested them all fully before leaving feedback for the person I bought the mobile from

Do you also sell a cover fitting for an i-mate SP5/Qtek8310 ?
(The battery I received included a wrong cover. )
Hi,
I'm looking for a standard-size battery with more than 900mAh, with no effects on GPS performance, possibly cheap (am I asking too much? !-))
Do you have any suggestion?
Do you have any trusted ebuyer?
Thanks
Bye

Here you go. I have used seidio batteries in all my phones they are of good quality. the 1500mah is for a diamond that already has the extended back the 100mah is for the slimmer diamond
thanks for the info. I was actually gonna start a thread on this.
so, should i assume that there are no batteries available from HTC that fits into the diamond without the need for a thicker back cover, apart from the 900maH ?
The first suggested link is about a 1000 mAh battery that "Fits in existing space" ... but 34$ + shipping it's too expensive for me
What about 900mAh ebay's battery? Are they similar to the original one?
To date i have not seen anything from htc that does'nt require a new battery cover. I myself am not to keen on purchasing random batteries from ebay. I like most fell for the 1100mah battery scam in the link bellow
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445050
After waiting more than a month i received a battery that was a supposedly 1000mah. After a week of use its worst than the original battery. The other batteries ive researched disrupt the gps or have a monstrous hunchback battery cover instead of a smooth flat battery cover. Your only other choice would be expansys

Bye.
have you used this battery? Is it really 1200mah, sorry to ask but ive been thru this once

----------------------------
... I wrote to 5 users that bpught this battery
has anyone used this 1200mAh battery? can they confirm it actually is 1200 and fits into the OEM Slim cover?
if so this can probably solve a lot of peoples battery issues
I don't know much about battery making, but with the standard size of the diamond battery, about how much juice can they honestly pack in there? Wouldn't you think that HTC would pack in a beefier battery if they could? I mean, they did released the 1350mah extended battery but it comes with a new back cover...so I don't know if we're being screwed again with the 1200mah battery from the link above.
I wrote to a buyer and he told me that this battery fits perfect and it's very good, I'm thinking to buy it, but I don't know if this seller ship worldwide... maybe you could ask him. Bye.

best of luck with it...and do keep us updated...
I recived the first response (from gabl****):
-It fits perfectly
-It lasts 30% more (more or less)
-Any problems
He has been using this battery for a month
hum nice if it is true, it is a really good deal !
It's seems to be too good to be a true especially after latest scam.
I don' t speak Italian but it's seems that the seller does't ship internationally.
I recived the second reply (from roll*****)
-it lasts more
-same sizes
-GPS fix-time is the same
-nothing to report
... it sounds good!
2 new replies from new_h******* and
massimil********
new_h******* says that the battery lasts less than the original one!!!
massimil******** says that the battery lasts the same than the original one
Lol maybe it is a 900mAh inside, like the other topic
Here you can even find a 1340mAh battery in the standard size at least thats what they say when I emailed them.

Hi!
I just can't seem to get a real answer.
Iwant a higher capacity battery *without*making my phone thicker/larger. What battery can I get or do all the higher capacity batteries make it thicker?
Thanks!
Thicker!
My guess is that if HTC could have fitted a higher capacity battery, without making the device any bigger, they would have done so.
Battery life issues have been discussed since day 1 (May last year, when the Diamond was first released). It seems HTC went with sexy sleekness over long-life battery. In my opinion, they made the right choice!
The HTC 1340mah battery makes it 3mm thicker, but its still looks good.
here are some pics...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=436648&highlight=1340
I would not trust these batteries you see on ebay from HK. I got one for my old magican and it does not last as long and drains fast when its below ~40%.
Thanks for clearing things up!
cant believe they charge best part of £55 for that, should be more like £20!!
anyone know where i can buy just the back cover mine kinda the baby got his hands on it and it broke in half i need the back battery cover only if anyone can help i looked everywere and cant seem to find just that i have the 1340mah battery just need the cover
Well i just order mine and i love it. Its just 3mm thicker you will not notice the zie increase and the rubbery feel is great. Also the juice will last longer.
I received mine for my mda IV last monday and after a week of use, it was worth every penny. It took a day or 2 to get use to the 3mm addition but i now get 2-3 days use out of my phone between charges were before i barley got 1. Highly advise everyone with battery issues to get one!!!
Look here. Just €26,77 (Do'nt know if they deliver outside The Netherlands)

Unfortunately .... they don't
just ordered from pda accesories £27 inc
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B001D842OS/ref=dp_olp_2
came in 2 days
I found some pictures of the BP E270.
The official HTC extended battery is well worth the money.
IMHO, it looks MUCH better thickness-wise (I find the Diamond too thin and it hurts my palm during extended use).
It DEFINITELY feels better with the included rubberized matte battery cover.
Mind you, I'm coming from a Touch Pro (a car drove over it -- sniff) and I loved it years beyond this Diamond I replaced it with.
I found claims of using LG batteries in TG01 with varying levels of success.
LG LX600 (Sprint Lotus) batteries (LGIP-490A) can be used but cannot be charged by the phone, it has to be charged with a separate charger.
LG LGIP-470A (AX830, Glimmer, KF750, Secret, UX830, Shine KE970, Shine KF600, Shine KG70, Shine KG70c, Shine KU970) also seems to fit, but I'm not sure if it can be charged by the phone.
Just get the Mugen 1300mah http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624969
Les than £20 delivered and works great and keeps my TG01 going all day and a bit more and whats more its a genuine battery desgined for the phone and comes with warrany.

well they would be if they ever get them back in stock, does anyone else make a decent battery?
http://cgi.ebay.de/BATTERIE-Toshiba...0496196129?pt=DE_PDA_Zubehör_KM#ht_1269wt_969
here you go
Cameron Sino uses to be despised on Internet forums as battery supplier. To be honest, I've used CS batteries on my former devices, without problems. They worth its price (But that's only my personal view)
Amazon: Another source here:

They are good news. When a brand as Camerosn Sino decides make a copy of a battery's device, that means that this device has been quite successful!

Don't worry about the stock indicator on the page - just place your order and wait. They seem to build them to order.
