[Q] Why do I got no connect in shopping centers? - HTC Sensation

Hello,
I just came home from shopping, while I was there I had no connection. That is very weird.
Historie:
I have flashed a couple rom's, then restored back to stock
Never flashed an non-stock kernel
Never flashed an non-stock radio
What should I do ?

Hi,
Is it like an underground mall?
In some large stores, when I am not near an outside wall,I get no reception...
Sometimes the signal just does not get through.

10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M

It'll happen, just depends where you are. I work in a grocery store and if I'm standing in isle 10 I have a strong 4g connection. if I'm in isle 8 I drop down to edge.

That is also what I thought, but in a shopping center, there must be some sort of connecting, just one dot.

Hi,
So how do you flash a ROM?
Do you go into recovery and choose zip to install from sd card?
Flashing a radio does not involve recovery.
It's done from your desktop ,using adb.

When you do a nandroid backup in recovery,it does not copy the radio.
So, you cannot restore a radio in recovery.

So that means I need to get custom recovery, then flash radio ?
Also it says my phone has to be ENG off and radio off. What is that? In my hboot screen it says it is off, at the top is that enough or ?

Have you flashed the latest firware. Your HBoot should read 1.23
It has to be this to load the new ICS roms
Flash the firware from hear. its 19mb

Put it directly on your sd card (not in anyfolder)

Upgraded to ICS using RUU, how do I get fastboot back?

Hey all,
I used the 3.24.401.1 RUU and then flashed arhd 6.2.1. Running great, and love ICS...but I would like to get fastboot commands back so I can SuperCID and do other things, such as flash to Mike's custom firmware/other future firmwares more easily.
How do I get back fastboot on the RUU firmware? I had thought I could just use the old 1.17 unlocked bootloader but luckily I checked and found out that it's incompatible and would make my device unbootable with the current firmware, so that isn't an option.
Hmm....
P.S. CID Getter says my CID is: HTC_621
Edit: should I just use the link called "HTC2" at this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21711154#post21711154 and download the unlocked one?

maybe my old rom didnt work cause it noticed a different bootloader and just...didnt want to boot. does anyone know? it seems like what i tried to do should have worked (just basically switch out stock 3.24 for mikes unlocked 3.24)

Hi,
Have you got your ROM up and running?
Can you use the volume rocker in the ROM to adjust the sound?
hey, still 20 mins left on my ARHD download... hope it works ok. volume rocker works fine if i do adb reboot bootloader, i am able to move up and down. it seems like the firmware flash went fine, still can do everything in recovery. im ready to flash arhd soon as its done downloading, then we'll see if it boots and if i can once again enter bootloader using vol- so weird...
btw the bootloop is very fast. it goes to the first HTC screen, then just for a few seconds to the 2nd screen with the "quietly brilliant", then it just resets itself. (that was what it did before i super wiped, anyway. oh and i also restored from a backup once as well, to no avail.)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20554933&postcount=3
-= NOTE =-
Your probably get into a bootloop after flashing teh 3.24 firmware.
Two way to get into your recovery.
1. Open the cmd and type adb reboot recovery
2.remove your sd and delete the firmware image and reboot into the bootloader and select recovery
this seems relevant..

[Q] Question about Radio 20.76.30.0835U_3831.19.00.110

I download the "[RADIO] [FIRMWARE] ICS firmware and radio from WWE RUU" and flash in bootloader, there show me 4 thing:
1. userdata
2. tp
3. Radio_v2
4. Radio_cust
I know the Radio should be the 3 Radio_v2, what is the other things.
I remember I flash the other radio version before, it just show me the Radio_v2, why this new one have 4 items, the others is the firmware files?
Should I flash all the 4 items? What do the others except Radio_v2 use for?
If I only want to update my Radio, How to do?
Thans!
only flash the radio.img file... I've tried to flash all of them via hboot before and it messed up my mobile data connection...
Note: don't flash any radio if you're not experiencing any errors or weird things on your current radio when flashing any custom roms...

You can't backup your radio. What you can do is look in system setting and look for the smalband version.
Most of the radio's you can find in this forum
Reboot your phone in the recovery mode and do a nandroid backup
And the easiest way to flash a radio is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860253
download the file and flash the radio.
Good luck!

If it was a 2.xx ruu or the ics ruu, then your Hboot version was the problem. Hboot 6.98 doesn't have the separate /system/lib partition that the more recent stock Roms use, so you could try updating your Hboot (to 7.00.1002) and flashing the ruu again.

If I'll update my Hboot, my old custom rom will continue to work? Thank you for your time. I don't know much about this stuff

Updated my HBOOT to the latest version, and then installed RUU once more. All work fine now. Thank you for your answers
The revolutionary 6.98... is write
protected. It is usually recommended to change for an Eng hboot before running RUU.

I couldn't find firmware in this thread, that you linked. Where did you get it? Or did you flash this PAC-Man ROM and it flashed radio and firmware also? Were they, sort of, "build-in"?
I might have to uninstall firmware from "[RADIO] [FIRMWARE] ICS firmware and radio from WWE RUU" thread, too...

Since you are s-off, follow this guide to update your firmware to 3.32 or 3.33: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21711154
Follow all instructions and then flash ICS/jellybean ROM. All bootloops should be gone and ROM should boot up perfectly. Also, make sure you make a nandroid backup in case something goes wrong!

How would someone update the recovery version and is there an easy way to post the specs of my phone? Also I do not have access to the internet because of my wifi not working.
