Since you are s-off, follow this guide to update your firmware to 3.32 or 3.33: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21711154
Follow all instructions and then flash ICS/jellybean ROM. All bootloops should be gone and ROM should boot up perfectly. Also, make sure you make a nandroid backup in case something goes wrong!

Hi,
In order to flash ICS ROMS you must first update firmware and radio.
Get the PG58IMG.zip with Firmware from 3.12.401.2/102 RUU HERE

Have you flashed the latest firware. Your HBoot should read 1.23
It has to be this to load the new ICS roms
Flash the firware from hear. its 19mb
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1432220
Put it directly on your sd card (not in anyfolder)
Boot in to Hboot, and follw the instructions.
Reading what you have done, everything sounds spot on, so hopefully this will work for you.

[Q] [Help thread] Hands in my hair for last 6 days!!

Searched a whole lot but no solution!!
My sensation xe is stuck at splash screen with every rom or firmware I flash on it... I checked the MD5sums, corresponding firmware with rom and even the actual method of flashing.
Sensation xe is stuck. I am new to android flashing but have read almost everything about the sensation just not the solution.
Have you removed firmware pg58img.zip from SD card after updating?
Sent from my Pyramid-T
Yes, I have. I was aware of that from the first time I flashed firmware.
Are you able to boot to recovery? Did you superwipe before flashing?
Yes, superwipe. I am also able to boot to recovery.
I took all the necessary precautions as I have been bricked in the past. The thing is every rom you flash on the device gets stuck at boot screen.
hmmm...why not flash a RUU and do it all again? i mean re-do s-off,root and supercid
Is there maybe a way to create a device image or error script to see where it goes wrong because I have followed every guide to the letter here on the sensation forum.
I went trough firmware differences, flashing method, other bootloops/stucks threads. But there is no one with a solution or even the same problem.
So if you would have any Ideas I would appreciate it or do you know a developer here?

Have tried that several times in the order you suggested. It does not work for me.
RUU also gets stick on bootscreen. Have you heard about this earlier.
Did you SuperCID? If not, are you using the right firmware package for your CID, and also If you are trying to upgrade your firware for a new ROM, and it's stuck at the HTC splash screen, maybe that's because the ROM you had before isn't compatible with the firmware, so just try to flash the new ROM in this case.

Please help!!

Today i bought an HTC Sensation i tried to get s-off which i thought i succeeded in and i got root, after that i just installed Firmware from 3.12.401.2/102 RUU straight from stock recovery. Now i have bootloops... The android version i had from the start was RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.35.401.1_ please help me get my phone working, as i have no clue on what the hell i wrong?
you have to flash a rom compatible with that fw! but i suggest you to update fw to 3.24 and then flash the rom...
however this is not the right place to ask this

You said you ran the RUU from recovery...do you mean you ran it through bootloader? First that PGIMG you need to remove that from your SD card after you install and before you reboot your device or it will loop forever.

since you are on S-OFF there is no point to unlock the bootloader
you can flash the 3.33 firmware from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
it will give you also a patched hboot which is unlocked
follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)
BUT
if you ever decided to return to S-ON first you have to flash a ruu.exe to return to stock
then make sure that you will have the official hboot
if you have the official then return to S-ON
Thanks for reply!
I was thinking about unlocking BL because i don't have warranty already (old device , but i think this
"since you are on S-OFF there is no point to unlock the bootloader" is all i needed to know

[Q] Confused about upgrading

So my nexus 5s screen stopped working, and i took my one s out of the drawer. Its been like 2 years since i flashed a rom on this phone. (on 4.1 Viper) I dont remember seeing any of these RUU things. So how exactly do i upgrade my phone. Do i just downloaded the rom and flash it, and flash the boot.img like before or is there a new procedure?

OK I see. If I were you I would use an RUU to update to a later version of software that has HBOOT 2.15.
Actually this is what I would do:
1: Run the correct RUU for your phone from one that moonshine.io supports:
http://moonshine.io/moonshine-downloads/
2: IF you want, then run moonshine.io to get S-OFF.
3: Flash a custom recovery like TWRP
4: Install ROM.
If you don't get S-OFF, then you need to flash boot.img.
If anyone disagrees with this, please chime in please.
