Cellular Emulator on Windows 7 64bit

I just bought a new laptop with windows 7 installed. But when i tried running cellular emulator it showed up some error "7 pairs of...something something not found" i googled and found that drivers are not compatible.
Just wondring if any one figured a way out at XDA. cant install windows virtual machine bcz i have a w7 home premium.
I'm having the same problem ....
Cellular Emulator doesn't work on 64bit, because of the virtual serial port driver it uses
Now I installed my VS2008 under vmWare, and the Cellular Emulator works
running a quick project in vs2008 under win7 ultimate 64bit right now not problems at all

[Q] No Harmony Drivers

I have a Malata Z-pad bought in China.
Now running TnT Lite 4.2.0 which is far superior to the Chinese stock it was supplied with.
When I first connected it to a Windows 7 laptop it loaded some harmony drivers and the 'Safe to remove usb device' icon would appear on the pc.
I have subsequently connected it to Vista computers and I get an error saying the Harmony drivers cannot be found.
The Z-pad is rooted and I can see all the files and folders (with the exception of SDcard and SD card2). I can transfer files ok - I just do not have the disconnect usb device icon.
Do I need these Harmony drivers - and if so, where do I find them?
Many thanks
Paul

i think the drivers are for ADB....its for development and the sdk so if you can transfer file fine you dont need to worry...if its really bothering you you can get pdanet or droid explorer cause they both have the adb drivers...hope it helped
Hi,
Actually, I think that the "Harmony" driver is for the normal non-ADB USB, i.e., for transferring files to the Gtab.
It may be that Vista doesn't have the Harmony USB driver, whereas Windows 7 does. I'm not sure (no Vista machine).

[Resolved] Using livesuit under linux in a virtual machine running WinXP

Hello everybody,
I could not find any other experiences so far so I'd like to confirm that if someone is trying to use livesuit under WinXP running in a virtual machine in Virtualbox it works perfectly.
Just connect the tablet and then enable the new USB device in Virtualbox, and Windows will pick it up.
The only thing to take care of is that when the tablet is connected, a new hardware wizard comes up. At this point you need to MANUALLY install the drivers in the wizard TWICE before livesuit picks up the tablet.
If someone is having trouble I'd be happy to help.
I'm trying to do this a WinXP virtual machine inside of Mac OS X. Managed to install the drivers once but, virtualbox drops it quickly from the list of usb devices before livesuit can ask me if I want to flash the img
Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a MacOSX specific problem but wondering if you ran into the same problem.

ASUS ME181C cannot connect ADB

I have an Asus ME181C with a BBY.xxx build. I have not been able to root the device. I did see that there is some knowledge that the BBY.xxx builds cannot be rooted for some reason. I am also not able to connect to my laptops (xp and win8.1) with ADB. My main concern now is the inability to connect. I downloaded the Android SDK to the win8.1 laptop but it is complaining about 64-bit. I will try downloading the SDK to the xp machine and try connecting to it. Does anyone have any knowledge of these issues with the BBY.xxx builds? It seems like the WW.xxx builds are able to be rooted and no problems connecting.
