[Q] HTC Sense calendar event indicator - HTC Sensation

I really like Sense 3.5, apart from the way the calendar shows there's an event on a day in the month view.
In Sense 3 the monthly view has a little column which has a different colour where you have an event. I find this really useful as it gives you an idea of roughly when your event is, and you can easily tell all-day events from other events etc. But in Sense 3.5 there's just a little triangle in the top right hand corner to indicate an event.
Does anyone know if it's in any way possible to get the Sense 3 way of showing events ported to Sense 3.5?
I find the little triangle in the corner rather annoying as I still have to click on that day to see what event it is and when, whereas with the little column I can easily see my shifts etc which I have entered into my calendar.
Thanks,
Lola_79

I second the missing part. Feels like a set-back from at least seeing when during the day I have an appointment...
Anyone?

I agree too. But it seems that currently there is no way to fix this. Maybe some of the custom roms will allow it?

More items on agenda today TouchFlo3D?

Has anyone found a solution to have more upcoming events visible on the TouchFlo3D home-screen? Below the clock is only one, or sometimes 2 items visible. I'd like to have more, like possible in Today-agenda, or similar.
I allready installed second-today, with today agenda. Which works ok-ish, but it asks for an extra click etc. Wouldn't it be nice to have the option to have more upcoming events integrated in the normal TouchFlo3D screens?

This has been asked quite often in the past months and no one was able to provide a solution yet. At least not for the Touch Pro.
this is real annoying... you would think it would be some simple registry edit...
i have the same problem and few others. on my tilt i have about a week of notification, i mean that the the item is displayed on the today screen for like a week. on pro its only 1 day. and the last one is when i click on calendar from the tf 3d screen, it always goes to day view and not month. i already changed the calendar options for month view. what should i do?

Hmmm, too bad? Or yet another impulse for renewed searching for a solution? Even the TyTnII I had before the Touch Pro had more items in sight. And one'd assume it's a registry setting somewhere. Anyone with good insight in that?
If your own the "home" screen and slide your finger from the bottom to the top of the screen the clock will become smaller and it will show more appointments.

If I slide the clock up to make it smaller on the "Today" screen I do get the smaller clock but still just the 1st cal. event of the day and no others, even on days with 5-6 meetings set. I wish this were the case for me. It seems like the intended function for this smaller clcok view. I liked the WM Today view with the Cal. events on the Today screen but like the TF3D too much to give it up because of this Cal. issue.

Plugins for HTC Sense?

Hi all,
WM newbie here... just bought a Diamond2....
So far I've found the HTC Home UI to be way more useful than HTC Sense - sure Sense has the cool gfx, but to do much on the default Sense front page, one always has to scroll around to different pages -unlike my near-default HTC Home that has my skype, PocketInformant, power/mem/etc indicators, msg-notifier, togglers for BT/Wifi/3G, and myriad of other shortcuts etc... ALL on the one page - its brilliant, though clearly yesterdays technology (ie. its been phased out).
So, I've been hunting around looking for info about ways to customise HTC Sense, via plugins be they already included or separately downloadable, but sofar, I've found nothing. Am i missing something here? Or is this just bleeding-edge stuff that I have to wait for? I can't even see anywhere that one can customise the info shown on the main Sense screen.
Personally, I find Sense's slideable menu thing at the bottom of the screen to be overly cumbersome - I want to click directly (ok, perhaps after 1-2 other clicks) on an icon to load something, not scroll along a list of gfx icons that somewhat forces me to go back and forwards trying to find the icon of interest.
Thoughts?

[REQ] Coloured Appointments on Calendar

i use the appointment option on the calendar all the time for shift swaps at work etc, i dont like the tiny grey triangle , is there any way to make the full block go a colour? or even the triangle a dif colour, it be great to be able to set different colours but even one colour be better than the grey triangle.
thanx for reading
Look at the posts of degake here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636062&page=2
When seeing the heading for this thread i must admit a spark of hope was lighted in me. My hope was to find a way to make color coding from using categories on appointments on desktop outlook 2007 show in preferably the sense calendar or even in the default windows mobile calendar. My assumption is that this is not an easy thing to accomplish. Or even possible? Anyone?
If colour coding according to categories is essential to you, then I'd suggest you look at alternative calendars, a number of them do that (I use Thumbcal, can't remember the names of the others though) - they all do a free trial so you can see which one would work best for you.
Thanks. I'll check out Thumbcal and maybe some alternatives. I wouldn't really say it's essential so I'll have to consider the drawback of having to get another calendar app versus the benefits of such a function. But now I'm more convinced that there is no fix to get color categories in the sense calendar. If anyone else has info otherwise I would be glad to hear about it though

[App Request] Line Graph Widget

Hi devs, I got a (hopefully) simple request for you guys. I'm attempting to do a bit of weightloss right now, and have a whole homescreen dedicated to it (like 3 apps, lol)
What I would really love to see is a widget (like 3x4) that shows me a line graph that has current weight as the y axis, and day as the x axis. Would be great to sync it to a calander, so every month, it auto-resets the widget to a new set of 30/31 days.
Finally, when you click on the widget, maybe be able to see your total progress since you started, and a field to input that days results?
I hope none of that is too hard. I am no programmer, so while I don't think it looks to difficult, I have no clue.

Question Calendar Fix

WOW! This watch has some getting use-to going on. I am trying to figure out how to get my calendar to be like it was pre-watch4. They used to show the whole month and you could see previous months or skip forward months. The watch4 only gives me a 5-day viewing OR daily option.
Am I missing something?
Yeah I'm curious about this as well
When you press calendar next to the six dots buttons that takes you to the next six days, that good he's you a monthly view

I am having the same annoyance. And each day, it annoys me more (I didn't realize how much I used it until it was gone).
There is no calendar tile. On previous watches, there was a simple calendar tile, I always made it the first one. It was perfect for a quick glance to see what day something is. From what I can tell, it is completely missing.
I don't even know what can add new tiles beyond the (mostly junk) ones that are available with "+".
I don't want an "app", which requires swiping up, then scrolling down, then selecting it, then clicking through two other screens to get to a month view of a calendar. I don't care about events or reminders.... the purpose of the calendar tile was just a fast and simple month view of a calendar.
I saw a Samsung thread with the same complaints and yet no replies. So I am guessing this was an oversight, somehow. I am using Watchmaker, but I didn't see any option for a calendar complication. Sigh.
