[Q] OC kernels and tuning apps - HTC Sensation

Hey all!
I have a quick question about the OC kernels and even more about the controlling apps. I know that the SetCpu isn't working properly with the dual-core but what about the Unitys OC Daemon? Is it working properly and also controlling the CPU1 or does it only controll the CPU0? Bought the System Tuner Pro from market and what I've observed the ST is working properly and controlling both cores but is there any real facts about this?
I also found this from the EVO 3D forums about the OC kernels

Thank you in advance guys!

/[Q] Governors in Bootmenu with CM7 kernel and leaked 2.3.3

Hi everyone, I have noticed something strange after I flashed Jboogie3 Blurry Ginger (leaked 2.3.3): my CPU is really using all four frequencies of the CPU that this kernel provides! A strange good thing =)
I said it's strange because in CM7, that it's my everyday ROM, using 177-005 Nordic as a base, and ondemand governor (everything settled via bootmenu), I always see in CPU Spy what frequencies it's working when playing games, surfing the web, etc, and it always use the minimal (300MHz) or the max (1000MHz), never the middle value (600MHz).
For example, it's like this in leaked 2.3.3 (using 300/600/900/1200):
Screen Off: 300MHz
Playing Angry Birds: 600MHz
Playing other games: 900~1200MHz
I don't need 4 frequencies in CM7, but would be good for the 3 of them working correct. Anyone knows how to do it? Or if i have to change the governor to smartass, what settings i have to use for the other options?

[O3D] Overclock/Downclock guide/tutorial?

[O3D] Overclock/Downclock guide/tutorial?
- can someone explane safe way to downclock(or overclock) GPU/CPU for O3D, I want to downclock to safe some battery life.
Thanks
SetCPU (search xda-developers for free download or market for paid updatable version) works for me, detected cpu speeds and allowed me to change them from 300 to 1008 Mhz, also there are a few options how the processor freq change when needed. For now you can only downclock until a new kernel arrives (not 100% sure what kernel is and if it really enables overclocking - just saying). I didn't try anything with setcpu but if you do please post your feedback
i have installed but i cant set the clock, with setvsel for defy i can define 3 speed for the principal status, in set cpu i see only the maximum rate (1008).
help me tks
Have you rooted your device, before you run setcpu?
what about downclocking, is it really giving extra life for battery?
I use Antutu CPU Master to downclock, it has a cool widget.

to what numbers you downclocking and how is battery life after downclocking?

Overclocking Transformer TF101

Hello world,
I am wondering what program you guys use to overclock your tablet? Or what procedure? I am currently at ARHD rom with ICS test 21.3 kernel and am wondering what clocks do you guys use - suggest also some UV list would be great
thanx
make love,

apps to control cpu speed
use: set cpu (paid) or nstools (free)
Ok, what about schedulers? I installed setcpu and its on "sio" ondefault. Which one to use and when?
I don't like setcpu, or any app to oc for that matter. When I was on ARHD (and therefore had to use an app) I used No-frills CPU control, not too many bells and whistles and worked.
I highly recommend 'interactive' for a performance governor, it's easier on the battery life than performance and snappy.
Default scheduler with wifi off during sleep tweaks is fine.
I use 1.4 Clock at home and 1.2 out and about, but you can probably go higher if you want, 1.2/4 is plenty fine for me though. (I keep my RAM really free though, I feel that is more important. IMO)

[Q] adreno_config.txt

In my never ending quest to tweak my HOS to the max I stumbled upon this thread. It appears they have an adreno_config file to adjust the settings of their GPU. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is such a file buried in our device somewhere, or other ways to configure the defaults.
Thanks in advance
With the bricked kernel and kernel tuner you can OC the GPU (3D) to 520Mhz.

[Q] Cpu/Kernel Manager Suggestions?

Hey guys. First off, Apologies if this has been created or discussed before. I have searched before this posting; as I am not big on creating new threads, and the stigma related.
Anyway, On my HTC EVO 3D, I used Kernel Manager, as it had a great layout, allowed cpu/gpu adjustments, AMAZING widget, mpdecision support, ThermalD suppport (I do know the support comes from the kernel, Im saying the app allowed me to customize it), set vsync, color depth, whole nine yards. Im looking for something like it that would work well with the Infinity. Ive noticed kernel manager and ROM Toolbox are both finnicky with the tablet and it doesnt do as well. Kernel tuner works best, still it seems to not get along with the extra 2 CPUS. their governors always revert, it wont display CPU temp properly, no GPU settings, The battery drain is always +/-errmA (i guess error Milliamps) and the widget only displays two of the four CPUS. Anybody have any suggestions, or a solution to make kernel tuner work? Anything is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.
